Hou Yi, however had drifted back to his first meeting with Anna. When he arrived outside the building housing ANX Lawyers, he paused being grateful that he so far had not run into Lu Jinhu. In entering the building Assistant Wang went first and the bodyguards were around him. Assistant Wang opened the building door and they entered while the bodyguards remained outside the building, and went to the elevators exiting on the 8th Floor where ANX Lawyer's reception was

Before he could continue with his thought, Hou Yi saw Anna shudder, but shake her head indicating to him that she did not need his support at that time.

Going back to his thoughts, when they arrived at reception Assistant Wang informed them of his arrival. Hou Yi however was standing back, and a young woman rushing bumped into him. Before he could say anything, he took one look at the woman and was immediately captivated by her. A second quick look immediately told him that this was the woman he would spend his life with.

He wondered who she was, as he wanted to start to form a relationship with her and then noticed an engagement ring on her finger. He realised, that the woman who he knew with just a glance would be his soulmate was committed to someone else. He told himself, if he could not have a relationship with her, he would make sure that she was safe, happy and secure in her relationship he would be able to survive without her.

Before he could say anything, she apologised to him in his own language, that shocked him. Few Westerners seemed to speak it well, but she had mastered it and spoke it like a native. She moved behind the reception desk and entered the office area.

This shook him from his thoughts and believed that he was being silly, a glance and chance meeting without speaking could not determine his soul mate, he had just fallen for her looks. But then he remembered the family stories about how for generations the Hou Males have found their spouse simply by a look

Assistant Wang asked the receptionist who the woman was who bumped into Hou Yi. The receptionist indicated it was a Lawyer within the firm Anna Jones. The receptionist then commented that she was lucky in that she had a handsome fiancé named Lu Jinhu, who the other female staff could believe that she had, and he taught he our language, which she has become fluent in. Before Hou Yi could comment about gossiping about other staff, the senior partners who he was meeting arrived. As he went to enter the meeting room, he picked up several of Anna's and placed them in his wallet.

Hou Yi remained in the meeting until lunchtime, and as he stood up, he looked out the window, and thought he saw Anna walking away from the building with someone, he was certain was that idiot Lu Jinhu. He confirmed to the lawyers that he would be back the next day for the balance of their meetings. However, when he returned the next day there was no sign of Anna Jones, while he was in the building that disappointed him.

Hou Yi looked over and realised that Anna was crying. He was not taking no this time for an answer and came over and sat down by his wife, and took her in his arms, whispering to her "It will be alright" until she calmed down and stopped crying.

Before either Anna or Office Mu could continue, Hou Yi stated, so it could be heard on the recording "Office Mu, I am sorry, I am not going to leave my wife alone, as this is upsetting her, but I will sit by her until you are finished. Are you OK with this?"

"While I would not normally allow it, given how upset Madam Hou is, I will allow this CEO Hou." He then turned to Anna, asking "Madam Hou, can you prove that you own the electronics that you state Mr Lu and Miss Yang claim that you have stolen?"

After taking a few breaths to calm down Anna replied, "I can. I will email my employers to provide the documents for the laptop and tablet, which are part of my employment package, but that will take a few days. For the camera, I have copies of the purchase invoice and bank statement showing the payment, is that sufficient for that?"

"It would Madam Hou. I would appreciate if you could provide them please. What do you want to do?"

Hou Yi felt Anna tense with that question, so he interrupted "Office Mu, my wife and I have spoken about this. Today, we simply wanted to record what happened as we obtained our marriage certificate today, and she did not want to make a decision on this today. There was also an incident at Fengs involving Lu Jinhu and Yang Lin where they attempted to blackmail the staff, and I believe that no decision has been made regarding charges there."

"CEO Hou, what are you talking about?"

"Due to family arrangements I am deemed the owner of Fengs. When my wife and I were at the Flagship store choosing some jewellery, Lu Jinhu and Yang Lin were attempting to blackmail the staff to give them certain jewellery. I directed Manager Yong to provide all the information regarding what occurred, but I have not made no decision on whether to prosecute or not. This would be the CCTV and audio recordings as they clearly show what happened there."

Officer Mu looked disappointed "Well I thought I was here about charged being laid. This is a waste of my time."

Anna piped up. "Office Mu, it is not. I am guessing that my husband wants to take me away soon for a few days, so to ensure accuracy of the facts I wanted to make sure I did this today. Please do not ask me to make a decision today of all days, all I need about 2 weeks to make a decision. I have no issue in signing the statement when you provide it to me for signature."

"I will tell you now the only reason that I am not going to have you charged for wasting police time, is that you CEO and Madam Hou obtained your marriage certificate. I will therefore give you a couple of weeks to make up your mind. If you do not, I will be recommending that you should be charged for wasting police time."

With that Officer My, stopped the recorder, handed the USB copy to Hou Yi and walked out of the room, and was escorted to the elevator by Butler Ge.
