Chapter 530: Chapter 237: Young Master Blood Sword

On the surface of the sea, a large, black-sailed ship cut through the waves, flanked by an honor guard of seven swift boats.

Upon the large ship, men dressed in black stood in solemn silence.

In the middle of the deck sat a grand preceptor’s chair.

Seated upon it was a handsome man.

He was dressed entirely in white, as if enveloped by the color. Even the sword leaning against his chair had a white hilt and a white scabbard.

The only exception was the pair of black gloves he wore on his hands.

His fingers tapped lightly twice on the armrest of the chair before he slowly spoke.

"The time is almost upon us. Bring them to me."

As soon as he finished speaking, men in black emerged from the cabin, dragging a young man and woman, both covered in blood.

The pair was forced to kneel before the man. Though they lacked the strength to resist, they defiantly straightened their backs and glared at him with fury.

The young man shouted in anger:

"Jin Yuheng, if you’re going to kill us, then do it! Why all this pretense?"

"It was our misfortune to fall into your hands, but Black Island is a den of villainy that will be purged one day!

"You won’t be celebrating for long!"

The woman also spoke, her voice laced with a cold sneer.

Jin Yuheng opened one eye to look at the pair before him, shaking his head gently.

"As expected of disciples from Tingtiao Pavilion. Even at death’s door, you’re both surprisingly defiant."

"The Eight Forbidden Lands have indeed run rampant in this East Sea for far too long."

"The weather on the sea is ever-changing. Perhaps it’s time for another kind of change..."

As he spoke, he removed the black gloves from his hands.

A pair of blood-tinged hands was revealed to the two captives.

Seeing those hands, the faces of the young man and woman paled. The man’s voice held a trace of fear as he demanded:

"You... what are you going to do?"

"Since you know who I am, you must also know the rumors about me."

Jin Yuheng extended one hand. It looked as if it had been steeped in blood for many years, the crimson hue seeped deep beneath the skin, giving it a bizarre and malevolent luster.

It looked less like flesh and more like an artifact carved from blood jade.

"Rumor has it that I am cruel by nature and enjoy drinking human blood."

"That I nourish my sword with blood, which is how I earned the title Young Master Blood Sword."

"However, rumors in the Jianghu are often inaccurate..."

"I don’t actually enjoy drinking human blood. It’s just that the Blood Shadow Seven Extremes Sword I practice requires nourishment from fresh blood. Without it, my Inner Strength cannot advance in the slightest."

"The time is now perfect. So, I must trouble you both to assist me in my cultivation."

The two exchanged a look, their eyes filled with despair.

With death imminent, the man suddenly demanded in a furious voice:

"You... your Black Island has gathered so many villains and outcasts from the Jianghu... What... what are you truly plotting?"

These two from Tingtiao Pavilion had not originally been targeting Black Island.

They had merely stumbled upon some of its members in the middle of their business and decided to interfere, only to somehow find themselves inside Black Island itself.

It was a perfect example of how one can search high and low for something to no avail, only for it to appear when least expected.

Who knows what expression Daoist Wuyi would have worn if he knew that these two had inexplicably stumbled into the very Black Island he had been unable to find despite his painstaking search?

For them, however, this "discovery" was a curse, not a blessing.

Because on Black Island, they saw many people—people who shouldn’t have been there, or who were thought to have vanished long ago!

Second Boss ’Reaper’s Writ’ Xie Quan.

Third Boss ’Thousand-Handed Buddha’ Huai Yuan.

Fourth Boss ’Black Pagoda’ Yan Pojun.

Fifth Boss ’Endless Poetry and Painting’ Qu Qianyin.

Sixth Boss ’Ghost Blade’ Mo Qi.

Seventh Boss ’Sickly Gentleman’ Chen Qingyan.

Eighth Boss ’Heart-Snatching Finger’ Song Xiang.

And, of course, the Ninth Boss, ’Young Master Blood Sword’ Jin Yuheng.

Aside from the enigmatic First Boss, whom they had not seen, they had laid eyes on all the others.

Some of these individuals hailed from assassin organizations, others had once massacred an entire Sect, and still others had committed endless slaughter on the high seas before ultimately disappearing without a trace.

As disciples of Tingtiao Pavilion, they weren’t so easily terrified, but they knew that a gathering of such people meant they were plotting something of great consequence.

They had intended to slip away quietly and report their findings back to Tingtiao Pavilion, but they were discovered and captured by Jin Yuheng.

It went without saying that they had been subjected to brutal interrogation and torture. After being tormented for a long time, Jin Yuheng had received some news this morning—they didn’t know what—and had abruptly brought them onto this ship, sailing with a fair wind to this very spot.

Now, with their lives hanging by a thread, they hoped to learn Black Island’s true intentions before they died.

Jin Yuheng, however, did not answer. His palm was about to descend when a shout came from the masthead:

"Ship ahead! It’s one of ours..."

Jin Yuheng’s palm paused mid-air, and the man and woman breathed a small sigh of relief.

But in that same instant, Jin Yuheng’s two palms struck down without warning.

They landed squarely on the crowns of their heads. The pair’s faces twisted in agony as their blood roiled within them. Their veins bulged, looking like grotesque earthworms writhing just beneath their skin.

Shrill, agonizing screams erupted from their mouths as the Baihui Acupoint on the top of their heads burst open.

Rivulets of blood were drawn into Jin Yuheng’s palms, and the color of his blood-jade-like hands grew even more translucent and vibrant.

Streams of blood-essence swirled around his body along with his circulating True Qi, gradually being absorbed into his seven facial orifices.

Jin Yuheng’s eyes closed slightly. He drew a long breath deep into his abdomen, holding it for a long moment before slowly exhaling.

When he lifted his palms from their heads, two corpses, their faces a deathly white and completely drained of blood, crumpled to the deck.

Jin Yuheng accepted a handkerchief from one of his subordinates.

His hands were not stained with a single drop of blood; he had absorbed it all.
