Chapter 2228 Operation Dreaded Winter -Part 16

"So, did any news from the Southern Kingdoms?" Jin asked as he yawned while waking up from the longest 10 minute nap after working two weeks consecutively without a single wink.

"Negative. The Star Foxes had stated that the Southern Kingdoms had decided to band together to try to stop the Demon Horde themselves."

"Without asking for any help from us? Do they think their numbers would be sufficient against a technologically advanced Demon Horde?" Jin said as he picked up a coffee can from his storage ring and used his Maqi to temporarily lower the temperature around the can so that it was chill enough for him to have a quick iced coffee boost.

"It seems like information control from both the Kingdom of Ends and the Demon Horde had been rather effective in them believing that they still have the upper hand in the situation." The System responded.

"How far are the Demon Horde from Ends? How is the situation between the zombies and the White Flames? I remembered that they were still playing hide and seek." Jin questioned.

"The White Flames had retreated upon an official message from the King of Ends, requesting them to return to assist with the defence of Ends. Therefore, the System had concluded that the Zombies had successfully eluded the White Flames."

"Lol. Give Lord Derek and some of the Mong Followers some bonus for their effort. We can later use them for the attack on the Demon Horde." Jin said that he did not really care about the Demon Horde mission.

The idea of having automated factories all around Atopia made him think that this was one of the most genius ways of doing things. He did not need that many humans to control. In fact, those humans were redundant in the face of his minions being immortal so long Jin was still around. They never got old according to the System's simulation and there might be a chance that they might evolve just as how the goblins he once recruited became a Death Knight, A master Swordsman and even a renowned Wyrm Rider with years of accumulating experience in Atopia.

With that in mind and the fact that he needed to fight against the Mecha World, this had become his priority. Sure, he might have put in effort to keep Ress alive, maybe even lifted their quality of life to a level that it would not have been possible for them in the next hundred years or so. But the effort he put in was to improve his skills and he could see that his Improvised Smithing had become such a godly level that its improvement into the next tier was more of a convenience for him.

It was to the point where he could just select any certain coordinate from his System's map and Mr Hammer would instantly teleport to that area to start working on the automated factories so long there were sufficient resources.

The massacre of the ports and harbour towns was mainly to remove any living beings that were not in his control within the area so that he could sacrifice all of the resources to construct his factories. But was the massacre of the citizens necessary?

Not really and yet Jin had decided to do that so that the System could accumulate the souls and put them within the automated factories as part of the living soul of the building. To put it nicely, the System had immortalised all of those that had been killed by the Demon Horde but if one were to be blunt, the souls were just a resource for Jin.

It was an extremely …extremely grey area that Jin might had been punished for not being resolute in his promise not to kill people 'for fun'. However, since he had not been struck by any karmic backlash, it means that the heavens had also see this not as mindless killing.

All of the souls were used as resources for the sake of the betterment of the multiverse and since Jin knew that the Celestials had already marked the Mecha universe as a plane that they could remove, what Jin was doing was the 'heaven's will'. It was a major loophole which he had never noticed until the System commented on it during his planning for the automated factories.

Now with the various Demon Hordes already closing onto the Kingdom of Ends, the automated factories in the seaports had already been constructed with Jin's close supervision. Machines were already starting their production and the assembly lines had been filled with numerous soul equipped helpers to get the first wave of product to be assembled.

Taking into account of Half Ghoul Lord's advice, the combination of a zombie brain and a mechanical body were made and they had been sent back into the System instances as training dummies for the rest of the minions that Jin had. With the variety of power levels and skills in his army's repertoire, those mechanical zombies would be able to gather more data and gain experience from the fights so that it would provide an edge in their war against the Mecha Universe.

All of this data and information were sent to the Half Ghoul Lord's very personal advanced intelligence system of zombie brains. They had been imbued with enough power that they could act as a sub system by itself. Of course, the System had poured some of its magicks into the equation, allowing the zombie sub system to grow by itself, especially after learning how the secondary system for Jin had been rather useful.

Thus, one could say that Half Ghoul Lord Derek could have the potential be the very first monster to be a Bellator with all of the strength and wisdom he possessed from making this revolutionary artificial sub system made out of zombie brains.

Even Jin could not help but be excited on the results this artificial zombified sub system would do but for now, he had to continue working on the next batch of automated factories. That does not mean he did not have entertainment playing from the side of his table. The Demon Hordes were all ready to move into Ends on his command especially when they were dying for some good combat after traversing through countless helpless towns and cities.
