Sienna barely got the door of her room closed before the shock caught up with her.

She stood there with her back to the wood, one hand still on the handle, as if she needed the solid surface to keep the rest of her from scattering. The hallway scene kept replaying with insulting clarity;

Tom’s body boxing her in, the heat of him, the thick brush of his cock against her through her clothes, then his hand on her ass, while her own mouth betrayed her with a gasp she had not authorized.

The most annoying part was not that he had done it...

It was that she had enjoyed it.

"How can my body betrayed me like that? What the hell?" She gritted.

Afterwards, Sienna pushed away from the door and started pacing. The movement did nothing to clear her head. If anything, it made her more aware of her body... the unsettled heat low in her stomach, the residual sensitivity where his palm had gripped her, the way her thighs felt too aware of each other when she walked. She stopped in the middle of the room, breathed once through her nose, and then, almost against her own better judgment, checked.

She was wet.

Not dramatically but enough. Enough to make the truth unavoidable. Her body had responded to the former Bartender, Tom Harlow. To his bare chest, his closeness, the shameless way he had handled her against the wall as if her temper were only another surface to work through.

She shook her head hard.

"No."

Anger came in immediately after the denial. This was ridiculous. It had simply been too long since she had been properly fucked. That was all. Her body was restless, and Tom had been conveniently half-naked, newly firm, and standing too close. Any reacting nerve under that set of conditions did not have to mean anything more profound than physical neglect.

She could correct that.

Sienna told herself inwardly, nodded as if it was someone else who had said those conclusions in her mind and she was agreeing to them. She snatched her phone from the dresser and dialed before the decision could soften. The line clicked almost at once.

"Well," her boyfriend - the man she had stopped from coming to her house the other day, answered the call. His voice was already laced with lazy amusement. "Look who finally remembered my number. Done playing housewife?" 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ

Sienna closed her eyes for a second. "I miss you."

That made him pause, then chuckle lower. "Do you? Enough to have me come over, or are you still performing loyalty for the contractual husband?"

The jab landed closer to the bone than he knew. Sienna walked to the window and back again, her jaw tight, pride and need colliding under her ribs. Inviting him into the house after everything with Tom was not a small choice. It was a deliberate overwriting. A way of forcing her body to remember the version of desire she understood and could command.

"You can come to the house," she said.

Another short silence. Then the smile returned to his voice, satisfied and unsurprised. "Then I’ll come and remind you what you’re actually hungry for."

Sienna ended the call before he could make it sound any more like victory.

Across the house, Tom had only just settled back into his room when the System interrupted the leftover jubilation and satisfaction of the side mission.

```
[MAIN TARGET MISSION]
Finish recruiting Stella Marchetti within 3 days.
[REWARD]
Locked
[PENALTY]
Locked
```

Note; This is a very important mission, Host shouldn’t fail.

Tom sat forward slowly.

No visible reward, no visible penalty... That was a first. But the hard edge of a deadline and the unmistakable implication that both the prize and the punishment would matter enough for the System to hide them until the end made Tom understand that this was compulsory for him to complete.

Stella’s route had been progressing in pieces; heat, risk, attachment, retreat, return. Now the System was done with open-ended pacing.

Tom stared at the panel, the weight of the three-day window settling over everything else, when his phone rang.

Stella.

The timing was clean enough to feel intentional. He chuckled then answered.

"Hello."

"Have you thought about the vacation?" Stella asked, skipping past soft openings as usual. There was movement on her end, the faint sound of a woman already arranging her hours around a decision she expected to land in her favor.

Tom leaned back against the headboard. The System’s deadline sat in the corner of his vision while her voice filled the room. A private two-day stretch with no press, no Adrian. No public performance. If he was going to finish recruiting her, that kind of isolation was more useful than another interrupted evening in the city.

"I have a vacation house on the outskirts. We can go there instead." he said.

Stella’s laugh came quickly, low and knowing. "Of course you do. You always find a way to take control of the arrangement."

"You don’t sound opposed." Tom stated gently.

"I’m not." Fabric shifted on her end, followed by the soft click of something being set down. "Fine. Your house, your drive, your little structure. I’ll allow it. A new, unfamiliar place sounds thrilling, by the way."

"I’ll pick you up." Tom said.

"I’ll text you when I’m ready and where to find me." Stella said, Then her voice tilted, playful and challenging in the same breath. "Should I be looking forward to the best time of my life?"

Tom let the question hang for a beat between them, the three-day mission pressing quietly behind his ribs.

"You should look forward to coming," he said.

Stella’s answering breath was almost a laugh. "Bold."

"Text me," Tom replied then the call ended.

Tom set the phone aside and looked at the locked mission panel one more time, already understanding that the vacation would not be ordinary leisure. It was the ground on which Stella’s recruitment would either be finished or lost.
