More time passed. Four hours after the start of the refinement, Long Chen could feel many more auras present. Yet all of them stayed hidden and simply kept watching. Clearly, this kind of terrifying phenomenon was not something they wanted to get too close to. Long Chen knew that they were definitely passing word of this far and wide. It wouldn’t be long before a truly powerful one arrived.

Six hours in, a roar rang out. “Earth Barbarians, you dare to collude with the human race? What do you think you’re doing?!”

Devil qi filled the sky as a dozen half-step Heavenly Sovereigns flew over, leading a gigantic army of outsider devils.

Seeing this, the three thousand elites of the Earth Barbarian race stood and raised their weapons.

The Earth Barbarians were definitely strong, but one area that they were lacking in was tactics. It was simply too easy for them to go berserk in battle, and as a result, they would easily fall for other people’s traps.

Long Chen had already examined these enemies. They were just cabbages, like the other half-step Heavenly Sovereigns he had encountered here. As long as they were careful, it was possible to kill them with no casualties on their part. These three thousand elites were the future pillars of the Earth Barbarian race, and every single one of them was incredibly precious.

“Yes!” Uncle Fu nodded. He waved his hand, and the three thousand elites charged into battle with him.

“Capture them alive! They are basically living pil—!” shouted the half-step Heavenly Sovereign at the forefront of the outsider devil army. Sadly, he didn’t even get to finish before a spear tore through his defenses and pierced his chest.

An illusory figure appeared in front of him and slowly became solid. It was a warrior of the Earth Barbarian race! His body was covered in flashing blood-colored runes.

His figure then mysteriously vanished, and just as he disappeared, the spear was ripped out of that half-step Heavenly Sovereign’s body. Blood rained down, and the enemy’s aura faded away.

Blood Flash Assassination! He’s awakened it?!

Uncle Fu’s eyes widened. He recognized these movements; this was a bloodline divine ability that had disappeared a very long time before. Long Chen’s pills had revived it!

Uncle Fu was incredibly excited now. The Earth Barbarian race was truly about to shine once more!

Just then, a figure covered in blood-colored flames leapt forward and unleashed a punch that sent a half-step Heavenly Sovereign flying and made him cough up blood.

Even the Innate Blood Flame... Uncle Fu was once more shocked.

Suddenly, the land quaked under the reverberations of a voice—someone was singing! When he heard this, Uncle Fu was even more shocked. “Little Cui-er...”

BOOM!

The ground exploded. A giant rose into the sky, so large that it blew through the clouds. This stone giant was covered in golden runes that looked like armor, and it immediately charged at the enemy. Two half-step Heavenly Sovereigns tried to stop it, only to be blown back. The stone giant tore through their defenses and began to rampage through their army. Wherever it went, flesh and blood exploded. Even half-step Heavenly Sovereigns couldn’t stop it; as for the rest of the outsider devils, they could only wait to be trampled.

With this, the army’s charge was completely stopped. They descended into chaos, and the three thousand elites were like tigers among a panicking flock of sheep. Only the half-step Heavenly Sovereigns were of any threat to them, and under Uncle Fu’s direction, they were all killed in just a few minutes.
