Chapter 6340 Three Major Experts

Chapter 6340 Three Major Experts

Through Long Xu’s story, Long Chen learned that the vile dragon race came from another world, but they had migrated to the Primal Chaos World so long ago that they no longer remembered their origins. All they knew was their singular purpose here—to annihilate the lifeforms of the nine heavens dwelling within the Primal Chaos World.

Within their dragon lineage, the vile dragon race was considered one of the three great leaders. Yet, in the vastness of Primal Chaos World, they still had to tuck their tails in between their legs and act properly.

They could only flaunt their arrogance on their own lands, and only when the mad dragon race or the evil dragon race weren’t present.

Even so, the strongest mad dragon clan was far from dominant.

Countless factions within the Primal Chaos World eclipsed them. They were mysterious and incomparably powerful. Whenever a major battle broke out, these hidden overlords always led the charge.

However, in the past few million years, they hadn’t launched any assaults against the experts of the nine heavens in the Primal Chaos World. As for why, no one knew.

Despite that, the past few million years had not been peaceful. The spiritual qi and Grand Dao energy in the Primal Chaos World was dwindling. In desperation, factions started frenziedly mining the world’s ore veins.

However, the veins were limited and scattered, so battles erupted over them. Some races fought so intensely that they went extinct.

Even then, the mysterious ruling races gave no commands, merely watching as the lesser races tore each other apart. With resources shrinking, many races had no choice but to seal their most gifted youths in slumber.

Only recently did the nine heavens become more active, and the Primal Chaos World seemed to have new life breathed into it. As the spiritual qi grew abundant and the Grand Dao energy recovered, those sealed geniuses were awakened.

Long Xu and his peers were among them. With their endless heavenly geniuses, the vile dragons looked poised to rise to the top of the dragon race—until Long Chen cut them down.

“M-master, you have to be careful of Long Wu,” Long Xu warned gravely at this point in his tale. “He is extremely dangerous, and a schemer through and through. I don’t know how you defeated him, but if you meet again, it’s best not to clash against him head-on.”

“Oh? Why is that?” Long Chen asked, his curiosity piqued.

Long Xu replied, “Long Wu exploited his status to force us to use our core energy to aid his cultivation. While we condensed Sovereign flames, he secretly siphoned off that energy through the vile dragon bloodline.

“He feared any of us might one day grow strong enough to threaten his position. That is why we were divided into three tiers to cultivate—he reserved the best position for himself and drained our power to fuel his own breakthrough. In truth, he has long since gathered enough energy to condense 999 Sovereign flames. Only after he had taken what he wanted did he permit us to begin cultivating in earnest.”

Long Chen was surprised. He hadn’t expected such a thing.

Long Xu continued, “Our vile dragon race has three peak experts. Long Wu is one of them. The other two aren’t as strong, but Long Wu views them as thorns in his side that must be removed. He refused to let them follow him and instead ordered them to lead their own groups in search of other legacies. Now that Long Wu has fled, he’ll likely use this chance to refine the energy he absorbed from us. Next time, he will likely have condensed his final Sovereign flame. Once that happens, he’ll hunt down the other two groups. He won’t allow anyone to stand on equal footing with him. Most likely, he will unite all the vile dragon race’s experts and direct them against you.”

Long Chen was baffled. When he had questioned Long Yu earlier, time had been tight, and he hadn’t been able to press for details. He hadn’t expected the vile dragon race to possess so many experts, let alone that two more were trying to rise up against Long Wu.

However, Long Chen didn’t particularly care about Long Wu. As long as his seven gates remained open, he could crush Long Wu with ease. If not for the overflowing Sovereign flame energy in his body forcing him to restrain himself, he wouldn’t fear Long Wu even if he summoned that wild devil again.

Now that his own Sovereign flames had reached 967, Long Chen even wanted to test whether sheer Sovereign flame power alone could crush Long Wu.

Then, Long Chen pressed Long Xu for more details about the Primal Chaos World, but was disappointed. Long Xu had never cared much for such matters and knew very little information.

“Do you sense the karmic luck energy of the vile dragon race lingering in this space?” asked Long Chen.

“Yes!” Long Xu hastily nodded.

He had wanted to bring it up but hadn’t dared, fearing it might make Long Chen suspicious.

Long Chen had slaughtered countless vile dragon experts here. With their deaths, not only was the karmic luck on the nine heavens released, but so too was the karmic luck of the vile dragon race itself. This energy could only be absorbed by the vile dragon race—other dragons couldn’t even sense it. To someone like Long Xu, it was a priceless treasure.

“Go ahead and absorb it. It would be best if you could absorb it all,” said Long Chen.

“Yes!”

Long Xu was delighted. He carefully ran back to the battlefield, keeping his distance from Di Mengyao and the others so as not to cause any misunderstandings.

“Vile dragon race...”

Long Chen eyed Long Xu and sighed inside. This race innately possessed a sinister and evil nature.

After placing a slave seal on Long Xu, Long Chen could clearly sense the nature within his soul.

It was no wonder Long Wu would treat his own comrades like this. From top to bottom, the vile dragon race was indeed vile.

For Long Wu and Long Xu, the means justified the end. If Long Xu had gotten stronger than Long Wu, the first person he would kill would probably be Long Wu.

In the vile dragon race, strength alone dictated right and wrong. Compared to the kind-hearted Spirit race, they were its polar opposite.

As Long Xu absorbed both the ancestral energy and the karmic luck released by his fallen comrades, his aura rapidly soared.

Suddenly, a new flame sprout appeared around him, causing Long Chen to narrow his eyes.

“The vile dragon race truly does have potential. It seems I can’t afford to slack off. I’ll need to grow accustomed to my new Sovereign flame energy as quickly as possible,” Long Chen muttered.
