Chapter 6211 Primal Chaos Sparrow Master
Chapter 6211 Primal Chaos Sparrow Master
“What kind of ‘huge secret’ could a little piece of trash like you possibly know? I actually thought an early Divine Emperor would show me something impressive, but you were just a waste of time.” Long Chen snorted and raised Evilmoon, ready to end it.
“Don’t kill me! I really know a huge secret! It’s about the Primal Chaos Sparrow Master!!!” shouted the demonic bird in terror.
Evilmoon’s sharp edge stopped less than three inches from its neck.
Suddenly, a foul stench wafted through the air, making Long Chen frown. The demonic bird was so frightened, it soiled itself.
“Master Long Chen, I swear I’m not lying! I’ll trade this secret for my life!” the demonic bird cried out desperately.
“The Primal Chaos Sparrow Master? Hmph, if you really tell me something useful, I can spare your worthless life.”
The Primal Chaos Sparrow Master was a legendary figure Long Chen had heard of before. It was supposedly the progenitor of all divine birds in the nine heavens and ten lands. In status, it was equivalent to the Primal Chaos Dragon Sovereign of the dragon race.
“Master Long Chen, within the heaven region’s battlefield are the remains of the Primal Chaos Vermilion Bird race—”
In an instant, killing intent flashed out of Long Chen’s eyes.
“Weren’t we talking about the Primal Chaos Sparrow Master? Are you trying to dupe me? Why are you talking about the Primal Chaos Vermilion Bird race?”
“No, Master Long Chen, the Primal Chaos Vermilion Bird race is the direct descendant of the Primal Chaos Sparrow Master!” the demonic bird explained hastily, its voice hoarse from panic.
It started spilling everything it knew.
The heaven region’s battlefield was enormous , filled with the corpses and legacies of countless fallen experts. Every major race from the nine heavens had come to search for their ancestors’ inheritances.
For example, the Dragon Domain’s experts had a clear goal: there was a Ten Thousand Dragon Nest said to contain dragon race treasures and legacies. Di Mengyao and the others were trying to retrieve it.
The divine bird race had their own objective—the remains of the Primal Chaos Vermilion Bird. It was said to carry the purest bloodline of the sparrow race, along with its karmic luck. Any avian demonic beast who obtained its legacy would instantly rise to greatness.
This demonic bird had rushed to break through to the Divine Emperor realm ahead of others just so it could locate that place first and seize the inheritance.
But before it could even begin, it ran into Long Chen.
The battle had made one thing clear: the power gap between them was immense—even as a Divine Emperor, this demonic bird couldn’t bridge that gap.
At this moment, it was completely convinced of its inferiority. Even if it could reach the land where the Primal Chaos Vermilion Bird fell, it wouldn’t even be a match for the other Human Emperors. It chose to live.
Perhaps by surviving, it could find some other opportunity to make up for what it had sacrificed to break through early.
“This is a sensor divine talisman, and I can get a general grasp of its location with this. That’s why I was in a rush to breakthrough,” said the demonic bird, spitting out a bone talisman.
Long Chen took the bone talisman. He was truly able to feel an incredibly faint call from it.
“How many people know of this location?” asked Long Chen.
“Uh…”
Long Chen’s expression turned cold.
He asked, “So this ‘huge secret’ is actually common knowledge across the heavens?”
“No, no! It’s not like that! This place is only of interest to our divine bird race. Only the topmost elites within our race know of it!”
“Hmph, fine. You can scram!” said Long Chen, keeping the bone talisman.
“Many thanks, many thanks!”
Just as the demonic bird was about to leave, it paused.
“Master Long Chen… I should warn you. You’d best act quickly. Otherwise, if Kun Wufa of the Kunpeng race arrives, things could get very dangerous for you.”
“Kun Wufa? Who is that?” asked Long Chen.
“He is the Kunpeng race’s peerless heavenly genius from the primal chaos era. Their entire karmic luck is focused on him. He has come out of his seal multiple times throughout history, and every time he did, he was completely unmatched. He slaughtered all the heavenly geniuses of those generations. You must go before he comes out, or it will be dangerous.”
After saying that, the demonic bird spread its wings and flew off. As it did so, a fierce glint appeared in its eyes.
“Kun Wufa, huh? Is this bird trying to use him to get rid of me? Interesting.” Long Chen smiled faintly and examined the bone talisman in his hand.
Long Chen wasn’t so naïve as to believe the demonic bird would kindly offer him a warning after being forced to surrender a valuable secret. It was clearly a setup.
“Hmph, that guy definitely lied about something at the end. But now I’m curious—just how strong is this Kun Wufa?” Long Chen muttered.
He then put the talisman away and vanished.
That demonic bird had sacrificed a tremendous amount of potential just to reach the Divine Emperor realm early, all to seek out the corpse of the Primal Chaos Vermilion Bird.
How precious was it actually?
…
In a remote region of the battlefield, intense flames pierced the sky like a beacon. Even from afar, scorching heat waves could be seen distorting the air.
An overwhelming resentment filled the area, burning away the land. Within those blood-red flames raged a hatred that had endured across countless ages.
“What terrifying resentment…” Long Chen muttered, astonished.
The primal chaos era had been unimaginably long ago, yet the fury in those flames was still alive.
“These flames… This must be where the Primal Chaos Vermilion Bird fell,” Long Chen confirmed after checking the bone talisman again.
The heat within the flames was immense—capable of reducing everything to ash. But to Long Chen, it posed little threat.
There were already quite a few people gathered near the flames. Among them were many Divine Emperors.
“I’m too late?” Long Chen asked, frowning.
He then took out the violet crystal heavenly eye and looked toward the flames.
Soon, he saw dozens of Divine Emperors standing behind a single young man. That man was tall, surrounded by arcs of lightning. Though his face was hidden, the aura he gave off was overwhelming.
“This aura… Divine Blood Lightning Phoenix?” Long Chen said, surprised.
“That’s right. Big Brother Long Chen, that person is from the Divine Blood Lightning Phoenix race,” said Lei Linger, emerging from behind his neck in the form of a lightning dragon.
She had previously absorbed the runes of a Divine Blood Lightning Phoenix and was familiar with their abilities.
“Big Brother Long Chen, his innate thunderforce is incredible! It’s way stronger than the last one I absorbed, hehe~!” Lei Linger giggled. The implication was obvious.
Just then, those Divine Emperors formed hand seals, and the energy of Sovereign flames and Divine Emperors erupted, enveloping that man.
“Ah, I see!”
Seeing this, Long Chen came to a sudden understanding of what was going on.
