Chapter 6076 Fully Advancing to the Human Emperor Realm
“Boss!”
Gu Yang and the others immediately rushed over when they heard that Long Chen was awake. They were all overjoyed to see him alive.
“How long was I out for?” Long Chen asked, his voice hoarse and weak.
“Boss, you’ve been asleep for three days. Don’t worry, we’re currently in the Heaven Dragon Law Domain. We’re safe here,” Bai Xiaole reassured him.
Long Chen nodded slowly and then checked his injuries. As he endured the pain, he clenched his jaw and muttered, “That damn heavenly tribulation… it almost killed me.”
This tribulation had truly been perilous. Although he had made numerous preparations, many of his techniques had proven useless. The tribulation had come far too swiftly and violently, aiming to obliterate him in the shortest time possible, completely ignoring the usual laws of tribulation.
“Wait a moment… your auras…” Long Chen said.
He suddenly noticed something odd about Gu Yang and the others.
“Hehe, thanks to Boss, we’ve all become Sovereign sprouts,” chuckled Gu Yang.
After the tribulation, all the Dragonblood warriors had awakened Sovereign qi and become Sovereign sprouts. Yet, even they didn’t fully understand how it had happened. Although Long Chen had Heavenly Dao Fruits that contained Sovereign qi, their attributes didn’t match those of the Dragonblood warriors. On top of that, the dragon souls within them would never allow them to consume such incompatible energy.
So how had they advanced?
Seeing Long Chen’s baffled look, Guo Ran explained, “In truth, it’s not just us. Millions of the Dragon Domain’s experts have awakened Sovereign qi. The Domain Protector believes it’s because you destroyed the Sovereign King Dragon Crown. The karmic luck bound to the crown returned to the dragon race, so any dragon with enough power or potential was blessed by that karmic luck.”
After a brief pause, Guo Ran continued, “Even though our Dragonblood Legion is human, we carry the blood of dragons in our veins and the will of the dragon elders in our souls. So we were blessed too. Also, without the restrictions of the Sovereign King Dragon Crown, many geniuses have awakened the legendary Dragon Emperor power.”
Dragon Emperor power was a symbol of the Emperor race. Back in the primal chaos era, it was a special inheritance that could only be bestowed by the Dragon Sovereign itself.
Now, that crown was gone. The dragon race had lost its central unifying force. They were like a great flood that had broken past its dam—free to grow, but without control.
With the ruler gone, the structure beneath it was bound to shift. Whether this marked a new era of prosperity or chaos, no one could say.
After giving their report, Gu Yang and the others noticed that Long Chen was still struggling and chose to leave so he could rest.
This time, the tribulation had seriously wounded Long Chen, and the worst part was that normal healing techniques had proven ineffective. The Heaven Dragon Law Domain had exhausted every method available, but nothing worked.
Fortunately, Long Chen had awakened, and it lifted a heavy burden off everyone’s hearts. They quietly left to let him recover.
Long Chen was still exhausted, but he forced himself to send his mind into the primal chaos space.
When he entered, he couldn’t help but jump in shock.
The entire primal chaos space was filled with floating lightning runes—packed so densely that they looked like a thunderstorm frozen in time.
Fortunately, despite their terrifying destructive energy, the lightning runes didn’t harm the vegetation as the primal chaos space’s laws protected them.
Amongst all the vegetation, one mysterious vine stood out. It was completely immersed in the lightning and absorbing it steadily.
Lei Linger was in her dragon form, absorbing the lightning as quickly as possible. However, even with her new power, absorbing all of this thunderforce would take her a couple of days.
Long Chen had taken an immense risk by absorbing all that thunderforce into his starry sea. The energy had surpassed its limits, and if not for the primal chaos bead’s protection, the starry sea would have imploded.
While Long Chen was unconscious, Lei Linger and the vine continued absorbing the thunderforce nonstop. Thanks to their efforts, its density had slightly diminished.
If Long Chen had come in a day ago, with his frail Spiritual Strength, his spirit would’ve been too weak to even remain inside the primal chaos space.
Once Lei Linger and the vine were done, the primal chaos space would recover to its original state.
This time, I really was reckless… Long Chen thought. But back then, he hadn’t had a choice.
Had he not acted, countless disciples of the Dragon Domain would have sacrificed themselves to protect him. He couldn’t allow others to die for him. That went against everything he stood for.
In the end, though, things had worked out. The thunderforce was now safely stored and slowly being absorbed. Once Lei Linger finished refining it, her strength would reach an absolutely frightening level.
With the primal chaos space checked, Long Chen shifted his consciousness to his starry sea and was once again shocked.
The entire sea had transformed.
Each star was wrapped in thunderforce, like blazing suns radiating intense auras. Even their positions and orbits had shifted. It now mirrored the exact star diagram that the tribulation clouds had tried to hide from him.
“Could this be the true divine star diagram? This aura…” Long Chen muttered, astonished.
He didn’t dare to draw on the stars’ power right now, but he could clearly sense they were thousands of times more powerful.
Long Chen suddenly shifted his focus to a specific region of stars.
“Wait… Isn’t this… one of the eight divine gates from the tribulation?”
He peered deeper, moving aside irrelevant stars and focusing on the subtle links. Then, a massive gate slowly took shape before him.
Excited, he started searching elsewhere. After carefully examining the star formations, he managed to identify eight divine gates hidden throughout the starry sea.
These were the same gates that had formed the cage meant to kill him during his tribulation.
“That damn tribulation… It deliberately blocked my view to stop me from seeing the true diagram above the heavens! I must have missed something vital—something crucial to the Nine Star Hegemon Body Art!” Long Chen growled in frustration.
“Wait… eight stars, eight gates…”
A realization struck him like a bolt of lightning.
“Ah!”
He jumped up in excitement, only to pull on his wounds and collapse from the sudden pain. With a scream, Long Chen fainted once more.
