"Wuu!"

"Wuu!"

"Huu!"

Shi Feng walked through the shadowy cave, Yin wind howling around his Whole Body, gust after gust, growing more and more violent.

The cave, however, was very short. After a brief while, Shi Feng discovered that he had vanished from the cave without the slightest warning, and had arrived in a gloomy forest.

This forest, to the naked eye, looked not much different from the previous one, but Shi Feng sensed that within it surged an incomparably dense Power of Death and a chilling Fierce Evil Power.

It seemed that this was the true Yin Forest!

The Power of Death and Fierce Evil Power here were the greatest Shi Feng had ever seen in his life; even he felt his heart tremble.

Shi Feng could devour Power of Death and Evil Power for Cultivation, but if other Living Beings entered this place, it would be equivalent to suffering the impact of raging Power of Death and Fierce Evil Power at every moment.

No wonder that mysterious creature had said only Death Creatures could enter this Yin Forest; if other creatures came in, it would be the same as constantly enduring the energy attacks of this heaven and earth.

And this was merely the region just inside the entrance!

He had said only Death Living Beings could enter, not that other Living Beings could not step into this place, only that those non-death Living Beings, once inside, would have to constantly resist the Fierce Energy of this heaven and earth.

Exactly the opposite of Death Creatures that were in affinity with this heaven and earth!

And that mysterious creature whose face was wrapped in bandages, wanting to find expendable cannon fodder, naturally found someone like Shi Feng, whose Realm was not too low and who was a Death Creature, as the best choice!

In this forest, Shi Feng likewise felt a dead silence, and his Soul Power had long since diffused outward.

Meanwhile, the one whose face was wrapped in black bandages began to move his head, sweeping his gaze over this Yin Forest.

Yet he stood where he was without rashly moving; it seemed that even he had to be cautious toward this Fierce Land he spoke of.

As Shi Feng's Soul Power swept out, he saw that at some unknown moment a Beast Skin Map of Elder Gai appearance had appeared in this mysterious creature's hands.

Just as Shi Feng's Soul Power was about to scan that map, suddenly an incomparably overbearing force rose from the Beast Skin Map and fiercely shook his Soul Power.

"Peng!" In an instant, Shi Feng felt his mind violently tremble, his soul as if struck by a heavy hammer, in unbearable agony, as though it were about to Po Mie!

He immediately steadied his mind, withdrew his Soul Power away from that Beast Skin Map, and concentrated his entire being; only then did that intense pain gradually fade.

When Shi Feng once more looked toward the beast skin in that mysterious creature's hand, a wary dread surfaced upon his face.

But he noticed that the mysterious creature had not detected anything amiss; his eyes were still sweeping across the four directions of the forest while glancing at the map in his hand, as if making comparisons.

This mysterious creature, although a True God Sixth Heaven existence, did not possess very sensitive sensing power; it seemed his attainments in Soul Power were not deep.

At this moment, that mysterious creature slowly turned to the right, then fixed his gaze straight ahead and spoke: "The path lies in this direction!"

At this very moment, his tone carried absolute certainty.

After saying this, he didn't spare Shi Feng a single glance, but in a tone utterly taken for granted and brooking no refusal, he said to Shi Feng: "Lead the way. Take me straight ahead. As long as I don't tell you to stop, don't stop."

Hearing his words, Shi Feng's gaze had already locked onto that place, and at this time a White Light suddenly flared upon his fist.

"Hm?" Sensing a dense Extreme Yin Power gathering upon Shi Feng's fist, that mysterious creature let out a soft sound.

It was obvious his voice carried a trace of Leng Yii; turning his head, the gaze he fixed on Shi Feng was likewise ice-cold, as if cold radiance flickered within.

Then he spoke again: "What, Yin Corpse, are you looking to die?"

At that very instant, Shi Feng's fist, shrouded in White Light, moved with savage speed; however, he did not blast it toward that mysterious creature, but slammed it down at the ground beneath his feet.

"Boom!" A violent detonation resounded, dust billowing, sweeping out like a storm.

Shi Feng, standing amidst the swirling dust, moved once more, and the drifting dust instantly dispersed, vanishing without a trace. At that moment, beside his feet, a terrifyingly vivid Fist Mark had appeared, deeply embedded in the earth.

"Hm?" Another soft exclamation rang out, and at this moment, those eyes revealed through the black bandages slowly opened from their half-narrowed state. He seemed to have grasped the intent behind Shi Feng's earlier action and murmured softly:

"So that's how it is."

Within that Fist Mark that sank into the earth, Shi Feng had already left his imprint. With this imprint here, if he failed to find the way back after delving deep into this Yin Forest, he could sense the location of this imprint and use it to guide his return.

After finishing this, Shi Feng paid no heed to that black-bandaged creature. His feet began to move, and he walked toward the direction indicated by that creature.

Step by step, he advanced at a steady pace, while his Soul Power continued to probe the surroundings with full effort.

Seeing Shi Feng walk forward, the creature whose face was wrapped in black bandages caused a surge of Yin Power to manifest upon his right hand, and then blasted a palm downward.

In a flash, a Handprint appeared upon the earth; he mimicked Shi Feng, leaving behind his own imprint.

Then his gaze once more turned to Shi Feng, who was gradually moving farther away. He raised his foot to follow, eyes fixed on that figure walking ahead, and whispered inwardly: "After finding this Yin Corpse, I keep feeling a certain peace of mind. Could it be that with him this time, I truly can successfully explore this Yin Forest?"

"Yin Forest!" As he spoke these words, this mysterious creature softly murmured the two syllables again.

The Beast Skin Map in his hand was put away.

This map was said to have been left by his great-great-grandfather; within their clan, it had already been passed down for thousands of years.

And he had further heard that after that ancestor obtained this Beast Skin, he went to explore the Yin Forest. At that time, that ancestor's Realm was at the True God Seventh Heaven.

In the end, that powerful ancestor was still forced out of the Yin Forest. When he left it, his Whole Body was covered in wounds, and not only that, he had been afflicted by a certain absolute poison!

Not long after, that True God Seventh Heaven existence died from the poison. Before his death, his final words were that he hoped some descendant of his could completely explore the entire Yin Forest and fulfill the wish he had failed to accomplish in his lifetime!

Within their clan, this was the legend passed down regarding the Yin Forest and that ancestor.

However, one day his father secretly told him that that ancestor had also done one more thing before his death.

By using a defiant method against the heavens, he drew out a strand of his own Residual Soul and struck it into a Supreme Divine Artifact within the clan, then sealed that Divine Artifact somewhere unknown.

But as long as some later descendant of the clan successfully explored the Yin Forest and fulfilled his dying wish, that strand of Residual Soul would bring that Supreme Divine Artifact forth into the world once more!
