Chapter 743: Chapter 739: Deep into the Ten Thousand Poison Sect

Despite being restrained by Lin Hao, the black-robed man showed no signs of panic, even flashing a strange smile.

Lin Hao frowned.

A powerful ripple of aura emanated from the direction of the Ten Thousand Poison Sect.

It was obvious that when the black-robed man’s arm had been devoured, he had sent out a message with his divine sense.

"You’ve picked a fight with the wrong people."

The black-robed man’s voice was hoarse yet calm, showing no awareness that he was a captive.

Lin Hao didn’t respond. He grabbed the man, hoisted him up, and vanished in a flash.

"It’s no use. Even if you escape to—"

The black-robed man stopped mid-sentence. He realized Lin Hao wasn’t fleeing at all—in fact, he was flying straight toward the Ten Thousand Poison Sect.

The quiet Ten Thousand Poison Sect erupted into chaos.

The ground rumbled and mountainsides crumbled.

Colossal figures loomed within the boundless miasma, seemingly without end.

Ten-foot-tall venomous spiders, giant scorpions that clattered as they bulldozed through rock and earth...

Countless venomous creatures swarmed out from the depths of the Ten Thousand Poison Sect.

A nauseating stench filled the air.

"You’re dead meat!"

The black-robed man’s voice rang out.

In addition to these venomous creatures, he could sense the auras of the Martial Artists from his sect.

The words had barely left his mouth when three Martial Artists appeared within the miasma.

These three were also cloaked in black robes, their faces obscured.

But with a single glance, Lin Hao saw through their cultivation.

’Sealed Martial Realm Third Layer!’

’Although my meridians are reconnected, they’re extremely fragile. After using the Six Paths of Reincarnation, one of them is already showing signs of tearing. I have absolutely no chance of winning against these three Martial Artists right now.’

Yet Lin Hao’s expression remained unchanged.

"The Ten Thousand Poison Sect has no quarrel with you, Your Excellency. Isn’t this taking things a bit too far?" one of the newcomers said.

A flicker of surprise vanished from his eyes as quickly as it appeared.

’He’d never seen a Sealed Martial Realm expert this young before.’

Lin Hao had already slightly altered his appearance, but he still looked very young.

Lin Hao remained calm. "No quarrel? I beg to differ."

"Oh? And how has the Ten Thousand Poison Sect offended you? Please, enlighten us."

"I want to see Xia Yunpeng and the other two."

The Martial Artist’s eyes narrowed. He clearly knew who Lin Hao was referring to.

"May I ask what your relationship is with them?"

Lin Hao tapped his fingers lightly on the head of his captive. "You’ll find out when I see them."

The threat in Lin Hao’s gesture was obvious.

’This captive is a Sealed Martial Realm Martial Artist. They’ll agree.’ Lin Hao was confident.

Sure enough, the man spoke up: "Sect Leader Xia and the others are guests at our sect. If you’ll wait a moment, they will be here shortly."

Lin Hao shrugged. "I have all the time in the world."

As he spoke, Lin Hao casually waved his other hand, and a giant spider eyeing him menacingly from the side was instantly immobilized.

Then, with a casual air, Lin Hao sat down on the spider’s back.

BOOM!

Under immense pressure, the black-robed Martial Artist Lin Hao was holding captive crashed to his knees, sending several giant scorpions scattering.

The captive Martial Artist coughed up blood.

He tried to speak but found he was unable to utter a sound.

The eyes of the three men opposite him narrowed.

Lin Hao seemed utterly fearless, as if he had nothing to worry about. His actions left the trio stunned.

That spider was a Devil Beast from the Dragon Transformation Ancient Realm and was incredibly venomous. When their Ten Thousand Poison Sect first entered this area, several of their members had died from the giant spider’s toxic mist.

But now this young man was treating it like it was nothing, sending a shiver of fear through the three of them.

The man who had been speaking for the trio had wanted to use this chance to probe into the young man’s background, but Lin Hao’s actions made him swallow his words.

’I need to rethink my approach.’

But just then, he saw that the young man had actually closed his eyes to rest.

’He clearly has no intention of talking.’

He exchanged a look with his two companions, and the three of them began to communicate using their divine sense.

"What do you think his background is?"

"To have the cultivation of a Sealed Martial Realm expert at his age, and to be so brazen... there’s no one like that on the Nine Yang Continent."

"The miasma here doesn’t affect him at all. Do you think he could be from the Dragon Transformation Ancient Realm?"

"That’s... impossible! The Dragon Transformation Ancient Realm hasn’t been opened in ten thousand years. We saw for ourselves when we arrived—there are no traces of humanity in this region."

"Then he must be from the Divine Demon Destruction Domain. I heard that before the Dragon Transformation Ancient Realm opened, several people from the Divine Demon Destruction Domain descended into the Nine Yang Void Realm. He must have found his way into the Dragon Transformation Ancient Realm for some reason. He’s probably trying to cross this endless region to get back to the Divine Demon Destruction Domain."

Ultimately, the three of them agreed this last theory was the most plausible.

But this raised a new question.

If he was a Martial Artist from the Divine Demon Destruction Domain, why would he know Xia Yunpeng and the others?

Before they could answer this question, they all withdrew their divine sense.

Just then, Lin Hao opened his eyes and looked past the three men.

A disciple from the Ten Thousand Poison Sect had appeared, leading Xia Yunpeng and two others.

Lin Hao stood up.

The giant spider he had been sitting on instantly turned to dust.

Lin Hao’s physical body weighed tens of thousands of pounds. The giant spider had actually burst apart the moment he sat on it, but his martial domain had contained the explosion, holding its form together.

"Uncle Xia, it’s been years. I never thought we’d meet again in the Dragon Transformation Ancient Realm."

Lin Hao said with a smile, his eyes fixed on the three newcomers.

The three of them were no longer as Lin Hao had last seen them. They were not dressed in tattered rags but had been changed into clean robes, appearing, just as the black-robed Martial Artist had said, to be "guests" of the Ten Thousand Poison Sect.

As Lin Hao spoke, he also sent a divine sense message to the three men.

"And also..."

Lin Hao didn’t know which of them was Xia Yunpeng, let alone the names of the other two. But he had only spoken two words when one of the three men cut in:

"It’s been years! I never thought I’d see the day I’d meet you again, my boy. These two old fools, Lao Xuexin and Xi Chenghua, thought you’d never show your face again, but you’ve just proved them wrong! Hahaha..."

The speaker was the oldest of the three, his hair already streaked with gray.

The other two were middle-aged. One was a thin man who, far from having the bearing of a Sect Leader, looked more like an old farmer.

The other was stout and portly, resembling an inn’s shopkeeper.

"Xia Yunpeng, you old dog! When did I, Lao Xuexin, ever say such a thing?" the thin man retorted, his face flushing, clearly taking the matter to heart.

As for the remaining one, Xi Chenghua, he simply smiled without saying a word.

"These cowards who don’t dare show their faces claim you’re guests here," Lin Hao said, gesturing for the three of them to come to him. "Now that I’ve come to impose, surely you won’t be staying any longer?"

A strange look appeared on the faces of the three men.

’This young man, whom they couldn’t place at all, was far too audacious.’

Hearing Lin Hao’s words, a murderous glint flashed deep in the eyes of the black-robed spokesman before vanishing.

Then, he said, "They are our guests. You are, of course, free to take them with you."

’He had already made up his mind. No matter this young man’s background, he would not be allowed to leave the Ten Thousand Poison Sect today, even if it meant sacrificing one of their own.’
