Chapter 302: Mystical Heavy Water
Chapter 302: Mystical Heavy Water
On the edge of the small lake was a stone tablet with two big words: Quenching Pond.
Lu Ping couldn’t believe his eyes; how could he be so lucky?
He quickly suppressed the excitement in his heart and stomped his feet—a wave of true energy was transmitted through the ground to the small pond.
The water in the pond gurgled and rippled. Lu Ping’s true energy was massive and would have stirred up a hundred-feet tall wave in an ordinary pond, but it only made this pond ripple?
He then made nine hand signs in a row, casting a water spell with his true energy into the pond of water and slowly raising the entire pond up into the air. His face gradually turned red as he exerted his full strength to lift a pond which weighed heavier than most.
By the time half of his true energy was exhausted, he finally raised the entire mass. At the bottom of the pond, there was a ball of black water the size of his head, skittering around energetically.
This was the Mystical Heavy Water, a Heaven-class low-grade heaven-and-earth wonder water, and one of the four treasures Great Ancestor Chong Xuan had owned.

After confirming that it really was the Mystical Heavy Water, Lu Ping quickly put the pond water back and breathed freely. He’d almost run out of true energy from that undertaking. In that moment, he couldn’t hold back his joy anymore.
As a Heaven-class wonder water, Great Ancestor Chong Xuan naturally wouldn’t use it directly. Instead, he placed it in a pond of water, letting it influence and mutate the pondwater into spirit water that he could use to quench the items he had forged.
For water-element cultivators, the greatest use of the Mystical Heavy Water was naturally to absorb and fuse it with their Golden Cores. This way, the cultivator’s true energy would inherit the wonder water’s dense characteristic and become extremely heavy and powerful. Hence, those who fused with the Mystical Heavy Water almost never ran out of true energy.
Just after Lu Ping put the mutated spirit water back into the small pond, a faint spiritual energy wafted out, which he immediately picked up. He felt strange in his heart.
This golden house was just a spatial mystic instrument, but its spatial dimension was much larger than ordinary. Not only did it contain a spirit herb garden, but there was also a mountain as well. Furthermore, there was a trace of spiritual energy on the mountain.
Standing on the summit overlooking the entire space beneath him, Lu Ping was sure this spatial dimension had no spirit vein, especially since spatial mystic treasures were incapable of doing so. Only when a spatial dimension reached the level of minor worlds—like the Heavens of Seven Stars—could it then contain spirit veins.
Suddenly, a thought flashed through his mind and his heart thudded in shock. Could it be….
Lu Ping flew down the mountain and left the spatial dimension. He stood before the golden house’s entrance, then cast out the Tome of Thousand Millets. Just as the tome was flipping open, the golden house’s door suddenly opened by itself.
The Tome of Thousand Millets flew into the golden house, entered the spatial dimension, and disappeared into the spirit herb garden. The spatial dimension quaked violently with a series of rumbling noises as the spatial dimensions began to merge.
The spirit herb garden expanded three times its original size, the lone mountain was now five hundred feet taller, and everything inside the Tome of Thousand Millets appeared in the spatial dimension.
While Lu Ping was still stunned with awe, Lu Qin happily chirped and flew out to explore the expanded spatial dimension. The timid Luan Yu was also as shocked as Lu Ping, but he couldn’t help himself and instinctively followed behind Lu Qin to explore the space.
The Amethyst Bees also swarmed out into the expanded spirit herb garden to harvest the pollen from its spirit herbs, even from ordinary flowers that hadn’t been touched for over 4,000 years. In the past two years, Lu Ping had trained the bees into a Dao army array formation—the bee queen was now just a step away from the Blood Condensation Realm. By then, the bee swarm could start to reproduce and expand, and the Dao army array formation would become even stronger!
The Fei Ling Sect was so ambitious!
At this time, Lu Ping finally understood why the Tome of Thousand Millets and Golden House were so odd in every way. The truth was, Fei Ling Sect didn’t forge them to be merely spatial mystic instruments, they were designed to be part of a minor world!
The Tome of Thousand Millets and Golden House were part of a set of spatial mystic instruments that could be combined together to form a minor world!
Clearly, Fei Ling Sect’s goal was to create a minor world for their new base, or perhaps, even relocate the entire sect inside the minor world.
The lone mountain was the location for the new dojo, which explained why it was showered with spiritual energy. This way it could be fit to contain a spirit vein underneath. Therefore, Great Ancestor Chong Xuan placed the Golden House in the spirit vein; he needed the spirit vein’s spiritual energy to nurture the lone mountain.
However, a minor world would be much larger than the two spatial dimensions combined together. The Golden House only represented the main mountain where the sect headquarters would be, and the Tome of Thousand Millets was most likely the spirit herb garden. There were surely more parts that made up the entire set. Only after combining them all together would the spatial dimension be completed as a minor world.
Sadly, Fei Ling Sect had only begun this plan when the sect was annihilated. Otherwise, the annihilation might not have succeeded if the North Ocean sects couldn’t even locate the Fei Ling Sect’s base.
Lu Ping left the spatial dimension and saw through the entrance that the Tome of Thousand Millets was now on the book shelf inside of the house. Closing the doors, he put away the Golden House in his interspatial ring.
Lu Ping then swallowed a medicinal pellet to recover his depleted true energy. He quietly pondered his next move; the large number of spirit herbs and Mystical Heavy Water in the Golden House had forced him to make changes to his plan.
A day later, the snake trio busy playing in the sea suddenly returned in a panic. Alarmed, Lu Ping realized that he’d been careless and forgotten a crucial point. As the snake trio became stronger, the signs of being Emerald Sea Spirit Snakes had started to emerge, making it increasingly difficult to hide their identities. It would be a disaster if anyone found out they were Emerald Sea Spirit Snakes.
Lu Ping quickly stored them inside the Golden House, which was naturally much better than the spirit pet pouch where pets could only enter into a deep sleep inside. Then, he left the underwater cave and headed for the surface, and immediately heard a commotion of spells and felt waves of spiritual energies from a distance away.
He spread out his divine revelation, and after making sure there was no hidden danger within the vicinity, he called the snake trio back out and asked them about the situation. With a frown, he looked towards the direction of the spells.
It turned out that while the snake trio were playing in the sea, their identities were discovered and they had ended up being chased. Their pursuer happened to be in the direction of the spells.
Lu Ping pondered for a while, then decided to check it out himself. He cast an invisibility spell and slowly approached the commotion.
The sounds of spells clashing grew louder and louder in his ears, while he carefully probed his divine revelation forward. There were two Early Core Forging Realm Enlightened Masters fighting, one of whom he recognized.
Lu Ping had a strange expression when he recognized her, then he turned his divine revelation to her opponent. However, the opponent was extremely alert and had raised a wall of divine revelation that firmly blocked Lu Ping from reaching him.
"Since you’re here, why don’t you show yourself?"
Immediately, the opponent discovered someone probing him and he shouted. Since Lu Ping was already exposed, there was no point hiding anymore and he flew over openly.
Despite not knowing whether Lu Ping was friend or foe, the opponent continued to launch attacks. In other words, he was confident that even if Lu Ping was a foe, he could handle both of them all at once.
On the other side, Chu Ting never expected she would meet Lu Ping again under such a circumstance.
After knowing that Great Ancestor Chong Xuan’s dojo had been discovered, the Maiden Palace had planned an attack on Crystal Palace. Chu Ting was one of those involved in the operation. It had been fine at first, but quickly turned sour.
After killing the four Crystal Palace Enlightened Masters, they didn’t find the spatial mystic instrument that was possibly hidden in the underground spirit vein—this alone was a failure of their goal.
Furthermore, the intelligence department’s inability to discover there was a Peak Core Forging Realm Enlightened Master among the Crystal Palace cultivators had placed them in great danger and they had all ended up injured during the chase.
If not for the mysterious Enlightened Master Liang coming out of nowhere, at least one of them would’ve been dead already. He and Junior Aunt Jiang had worked together to defend against the Crystal Palace Enlightened Master’s attacks.
However, just as the Maiden Pavilion ladies felt they were saved, a group of monster cultivators came out of nowhere and ambushed them, the Crystal Palace cultivators, and the Sky Cleaving Sword Sect cultivators who were just watching the drama from a distance away.
The monster cultivators’ ambush turned the situation into a chaotic battlefield. Second Sister Zhu Xuan-Meng and the mysterious Junior Uncle Liang Xuan-Feng came to her side and helped her leave the battlefield.
But her bad luck didn’t stop there. Just as she made it out of the dojo to the sea surface, she bumped into another monster cultivator. This monster cultivator was attracted to her beauty and intercepted her with the intention of snatching her back as his mistress. Naturally, Chu Ting refused and the two fought.
Chu Ting was an alchemical genius, and in addition to Enlightened Master Mei’s careful guidance, she became a Master Alchemist at a young age. Since then, she had used her alchemy to concoct medicinal pellets which helped her to quickly reach the peak of the First Layer Core Forging Realm.
Naturally, a high-minded and prideful talent like her didn’t consider any of her peers as her equal. Even though the monster cultivator was in the Third Layer Core Forging Realm, she didn’t think he could hold her back at all.
But to her surprise, the monster cultivator was much stronger than she expected; he could always counter and tackle every move she took and every means she used. Even more infuriating, he did it all casually, clearly wanting to exhaust all her moves, so he could capture her easily after that.
Chu Ting felt a wave of powerlessness swallowing her up and she grew desperate. It was at this moment, the young man whom she didn’t expect to see at all suddenly appeared before her.
