"Alright, trying to put up a show for us, just wants to linger here and not join us in bearing the risks tonight." Ye Zheng immediately saw through Liu Hongwei’s little trick.

"I’ll go drag her out; this person is really shameless." Ye Zheng looked down on people like this the most, unwilling to put in effort yet hoping to get an equal share of the benefits in the end, that’s not how their Chamber of Commerce operated.

Just as Ye Zheng rolled up her sleeves and was ready to teach her a lesson, someone suddenly stopped her—a tall and graceful female doctor.

"This is a hospital ward, what are you planning to do?" The female doctor put down the enamel tray in her hand and walked over briskly.

"She’s wanted by the factory’s security department; we need to take her back to understand some situation." Ye Zheng spoke with confidence, for in this mission, their identity was indeed that of security department personnel, marked by their red armband.

This team consisted of ten people, with her and Zhao Xuejun, Hu Weimin, among four others being part of the security department, giving them significant advantage in their operations within the factory.

"The security department cannot interrogate a patient in a coma." The female doctor blocked the door, refusing to budge, not losing any ground to Ye Zheng in her aura.

"You’re... Song Xin?" Suddenly, Yang Xiao recognized the young female doctor in the white coat.

At this moment, the female doctor also noticed Yang Xiao standing not far away, a hint of delight flashing across her face, "Ma Jiefang?"

"Why are you here, are you looking for me?" Doctor Song Xin asked.

After all, she had previously promised Yang Xiao that if he injured himself and felt uncomfortable, he could come to her as she had medicine for treating bruises and sprains.

Indeed, it’s much easier with acquaintances; introduced by Yang Xiao, the tension between the two women eased quite a bit.

Yang Xiao introduced Ye Zheng as his fiancée to Song Xin.

"Hello, nice to meet you, but Liu Hongwei is my patient. She has been in a deep sleep today, and I cannot let you take her away." Song Xin stated seriously.

"Doctor Song Xin, can’t you see? She’s faking it; she’s been awake for a long time, she’s perfectly fine." Ye Zheng directly punctured Liu Hongwei’s little plan.

"She was frightened and needs rest. How about this, come back tomorrow, it’s almost dark now, just let her rest for tonight." Song Xin was extremely responsible for her patient; though young, she was very determined.

Ye Zheng didn’t expect this stubbornness; this little girl was tough to deal with despite her small stature.

"Doctor Song Xin, how about you let me stay with her for a while? I promise not to disturb her."

Yang Xiao pledged, "I’ll just talk to her for a bit, if she doesn’t want to leave, I definitely won’t force her; she’s new here with us, there’s still some bond between everyone."

Seeing Yang Xiao’s sincerity, Doctor Song Xin identified him as a kind person and agreed but emphasized that only he could go in, not Ye Zheng.

Ye Zheng’s face remained unchanged, but inside, she had whipped Song Xin countless times, annoyed that this person was targeting her.

With permission granted, Yang Xiao walked into the ward, quietly and carefully, appearing to be a quite honest and kind person to outsiders.

Walking to Liu Hongwei’s bedside, Yang Xiao noticed her tightly shut eyelids quivering slightly; she was clearly pretending to sleep.

Moments later, through the observation window on the door, Ye Zheng and Song Xin witnessed a miraculous scene.

Yang Xiao sat at Liu Hongwei’s bedside, looking concerned, the atmosphere harmonious, as his lips lightly moved as if saying something, miraculously waking Liu Hongwei from her entire day of "coma."

Not only did she wake up, she grabbed Yang Xiao’s arm and started speaking rapidly, seemingly pleading.

As Ye Zheng and Song Xin were standing outside, looking through the observation window, they couldn’t hear what was being said between the two.

Afterward, Yang Xiao shook off Liu Hongwei’s arm and walked out, while Liu Hongwei seemed afraid of being left behind, immediately started getting dressed to leave.

Seeing this, Song Xin sensed something was wrong; after Yang Xiao walked out, she went into the ward and closed the door.

Song Xin approached Liu Hongwei, inquiring about what had happened and whether she had been threatened.

If that’s the case, she’s going to call the security department to have them handle it.

But at that moment, Liu Hongwei completely ignored her, just kept shaking her head.

She looked terrified; her face pallid, misaligned her buttons while dressing, trembling fingers as if possessed by a ghost.

Through the observation window, witnessing the bizarre scene in the ward, Ye Zheng widened her eyes at Yang Xiao in curiosity, asking, "You’re really something, how did you manage that?"

"By reason and emotion; hearts are grown from flesh, I persuaded her." Yang Xiao slightly squinted, appearing incredibly mysterious, his whole being emanating a mystical religious aura, leaving a deep and enigmatic impression.

But Ye Zheng wasn’t a child; Yang Xiao’s act didn’t fool her at all. She lowered her voice, continuing to question, "Quit the crap, what exactly did you say to her?"

"Not much; I just told her that someone ran into Wang Yong at the public water room in the residential building. Wang Yong was alone, in a dark corner of the water room, circling with his head down, constantly asking where Liu Hongwei was and why he couldn’t find her."

"Then a kind person informed him Liu Hongwei was at the factory clinic, Wang Yong stopped circling, turned left outside, and vanished." Yang Xiao spread his hands, smilingly explained.
