Chapter 672: Merging the Fragment and Attack From the Paragon Knights

Grey turned toward Eterna and Aria, who were standing nearby.

"You two have worked hard. Now, it’s time to fully awaken the Chaos Emperor. What do you think?"

Hearing this, both Eterna and Aria immediately nodded.

With their agreement, Grey finally began fusing the Chaos Source Codex.

This Codex had remained within him ever since the day he first stepped into the starry sky from that tiny planet. Throughout his journey, he had collected fragment after fragment, gradually bringing the scattered pieces closer together.

Now, after everything that had happened, the time had finally come for the Chaos Source Codex to become complete.

This was the complete Source Codex of the Chaos Emperor, an existence who had once been disregarded by the Paragons and eventually destroyed after they realized he could no longer serve their purpose. They had only been interested in him because of his ability to tap into the powers of the Core. Once they discovered that he could not fulfill the role they wanted, they simply abandoned him.

One fragment after another began merging.

The scattered pieces of the Chaos Source Codex slowly converged, each fragment fitting perfectly into the next. As more pieces merged together, the Codex gradually began taking its complete form.

Grey continued guiding the fusion until, finally, the last fragment entered the Codex.

The entire Chaos Source Codex was now complete.

Yet, nothing happened.

Grey waited for several moments, but the consciousness of the Chaos Emperor showed no sign of awakening.

Eterna looked toward him with confusion.

"What happened?"

Grey calmly examined the completed Codex before shaking his head.

"It’s fine. It seems his consciousness needs more time to fully form."

Hearing this, both Eterna and Aria nodded.

Grey glanced at the completed Codex one final time before turning toward them.

"For now, it’s time to return to the Nexus Universe."

The three of them soon left and began making their way back to the Nexus Universe.

During the journey, Aria was particularly excited. She had already heard quite a bit about everyone from both Grey and Eterna, and now she would finally have the chance to meet them herself.

However, the moment they returned to the Nexus Domain, Grey immediately remembered another matter that he had been deliberately putting off.

His Nexus Race.

His progression had previously become stuck because his evolutionary limit had not yet reached the 10th Rank. Now that he had finally reached the 10th Rank, there was nothing preventing him from completing his evolution.

His Nexus Race could finally reach 100%.

Grey swept his perception across the entire world, and he immediately identified the source of the disturbance.

The Paragon Knights.

The warriors serving the Paragons had attacked the Nexus Domain.

Grey’s eyes narrowed as he saw Lia, Valeria, Ouroboros, Alissa, and the others confronting them.

More importantly, the Paragon Knights were displaying genuine 13th Rank power.

Several powerful figures from the Higher Realm were also present, including Elder Tharos.

Even Jasmine had appeared on the battlefield.

"To think the Paragons would attack at this time," Kaelith said with a pale expression. As the strongest among the Gods, even he could feel the tremendous pressure coming from the enemy.
