Chapter 646: Gathering Thrones
It was an extremely precise attack that would have been impossible without their forced Life Review that gave everyone the perception that only Ranked Heroes would have.
The attacks that everyone made were focused on a single point. As the attacks landed, the sniper bullet that Will shot was the bullet that finally pierced through.
Lim had calculated the density needed, and the Throne finally gave in to the damage.
It pierced onward and struck Unverrok.
Unverrok was in extreme pain as the Desolation began to spread inside and caused massive.
"Ahhhh...!" The pain was so much that he was losing control of his senses.
"He's good as dead," Lim said as she floated by.
"And I didn't even need to use my Were-form. I was excited to be a cheetah. You think Seeker likes furries?" Alphie asked Lim.
"...I'm a war strategist. Not a kink expert." Lim complained as he prepared a wind bomb.
The cries of Unverrok continued to resound and were heard by many as Unverrok communicated to all the Pioneers.
"Your Presider is dead. Who else wants to fight?" Ivan shouted out loud as the wind suddenly erupted out from him, allowing sound to travel for a time.
Realm's power amplified the Sounds' movement and allowed all the surviving soldiers to hear it.
Ivan also began his transformation. He had used the inherited Were-bear power to transform into a giant bear.
It stood over five meters high and was glowing red.
"Put down your guns, or we will make you put them down!"
"Drop your weapons. Or you will attack your own allies." Suarez also commanded.
The cries and shouts of Unverrok continued to echo out.
His suit was attempting to heal him, but his healing tech was far lesser than even what Pridgeon had when he was a low-tier presider in the battle in One China.
His suit could not keep up as the Desolation was alive.
He tried to use the throne to heal him, but the Desolation ate away the universe's energy.
"How... is this possible?! How is this energy... being eaten?!"
Unverrok could see small serpents and dragons made of the Desolation spread out and increased as they moved out and devoured their body.
"Ahhh! Ahhhh! Noooo! Stop! I surrender...!"
"It's really not up to us. Once that dragon starts eating, it will grow and bite until none remains. If we touch it, it will bite us." Fish chuckled.
"Nooo...!" The cry of Unverrok continued to ring out as the Pioneers were all surrendering.
One Presider had died in the attempted landing on Earth.
"Let's sort these Pioneers out and remove the bombs in their heads." Rai suddenly appeared as a portal opened up.
"Go into the portal," Rai spoke, and through the Void Realm, all the surviving soldiers heard the command.
Intimidation and fear caused them to be petrified immediately.
Rai had extended the Reaper's Breath to all of them through the warp gate.
Everyone followed Rai's command and even moved in haste. They were all afraid and feared for their life.
"Wow... Reaper's Breath can now be used like that. It took a lot of effort to make them sense our killing intent, and you could do it just like that by warping your scent through everywhere..." Lim was amazed.
"And I was confident that I could finally brainwash people. You could do the same through fear." Suarez sighed.
The surviving army didn't resist, and all went in as the cries of Unverrok slowly ended.
They knew the Presider had died.
"Where does this lead to?"
"This portal will lead them to the Floating Fortress of Akasha. With a Mid-Tier battle on the horizon, a sudden appearance of a Presider-Level army will be quite surprising." Rai spoke.
"So we're not going to turn them into food and be eaten by Akasha? I heard the death toll of those fed to her undead army has reached over a million!"
"You realize they're not vampires like the ones in our fantasy story? They will be the loyal vampires of Akasha. You haven't seen her recently. She had taken the Tyrant Empress's blood and has transformed into a beautiful vampire." Rai explained.
"I sort of pity them."
"They will have the same fate that they have serving this Unverrok. They will be happy and will die happily for another. However, this time, it won't be through a programmed slave chip. And I doubt they can be mind-controlled like this. Those who will taste Akasha's blood will never betray her. Not even for the Tyrant Empress."
"Where's Gardo?"
"He got bored with the fighting here. He found Unverrok not worth a challenge, so he decided to join the battle in Pangea, where his allies are."
"You... managed to open a portal to the Pangean regions?!" Will was amazed.
"How do you think I've been training? I know the shortcuts and routes in the Void Realm here on Earth! Lennox already made a schematic of it, and I have been mentally training every second since Lennox downloaded it. I could even warp to the other side of Earth and send two people with me."
"What do we do now?" Alphie asked.
"Should we go over to get Seeker?"
"Don't. That madman has another mission in mind. Our current goal is to bring three more Presider Thrones to Lioncourt. He'll need all the Universe Energy he can get to pull down that Orbital."
"We're fighting again?! We just fought!" Will complained.
"It'll be easier. We'll help Git Godlike fight off that Presider in Australia."
WARP! WARP! WARP!
Many warp pads appeared as the Void Assassins also emerged.
Several strange glowing tubes that contained a massive amount of energy were brought in.
"You're not going to... inject us with that nuclear energy, are you?" Epic saw the tubes.
"It's a new energy delivery system. With the energy you now have, this much is necessary. You should be able to hold another load of this energy since you have successfully deployed Life Review. Your mitochondria should be able to reach triple the load."
STAB!
The tube was injected into Ivan, who took in the energy.
The radiation that Ivan was releasing was so high that a normal human exposed to it would surely die.
The rest could only watch as Ivan contained the energy.
"I can't believe we're now treated like aircraft and gears that would be recharged like this..." Fish laughed.
"Welp, if there's this many of us, we could take down a Top-Tier."
"Don't be so arrogant. A Top-Tier has a hint of Conquerors. This one was simply... a weak one. We're headed for another Mid-Tier. Lioncourt will distract the top, bringing down the asteroid over Australia. But we will head for another Presider."
Over the land of Australia, the army of Renkerdis covered the vast sky. It was the largest fleet among all Presiders.
"This will be the destined land!" Renkerdis laughed.
Lioncourt watched from atop.
"Remember the plan." Arthur reminded.
"You don't have to tell me." Lioncourt began to make his move.
A mountain within the region of Australia began to move.
A small portal opened high above the armies of Renkerdis and Eagle appeared.
Lioncourt flew above the sky and called out to Renkerdis.
"Nice meteor, Renkerdis. I wage you... a mountain!" Lioncourt waved his hand, and the mountain began to rise!
