Chapter 627: Cecilia’s Troubles

Cecilia struggled to move her ship in retreat. Though Seeker and the three other idiots had drawn the attention of most, the battle that Cecilia had to flee from was numbering by the thousands.

They were surrounded, and the three Presiders were serious about trying to kill Cecilia. They had proved that Cecilia was not as powerful as before because as they bombarded the giant Gargantuant, Cecilia never revealed the power of her Throne or used any attacks that used Universe Energy.

The war was so intense that even Ninalet had no choice but to join the battlefield as they retreated.

Lourca and Madelyne had also used a unique form of Throne equipped with many of Earth's technology. It did not have Universe Energy, and the amount of energy that their Throne had was quickly diminishing.

"Why did those idiots flee?! Lourca?!"

"Honestly, I don't know." Lourca chuckled.

"Aren't you angry?! They left us here to die!"

"This is leaving me to die? In the safety of my throne with an army of Pioneers and a Presider? Madelyne, you should talk to Cliff about what it means to be left to die. This is just the bare minimum! If you've worked with them for so long, they would expect us to easily clear out this task! They would not abandon us!" Lourca chuckled as she faced the hordes of exoskeletons and evaded them perfectly.

"Activate the Lander Protocol." Lourca turned towards the army before her and began to charge towards it evading and turning with precise speed calculation.

The trademark skill of Lander and the set calculations of Lennox was inside her Throne. It allowed her to push toward the army of enemies employing various techs to block the technologies that could trace Lourca's movements.

But the speed and spin of her enclosed Throne made her like a piercing bullet that flew out with great speed.

Lourca used this speed turn to dive deep into the ranks and would make some attacks and leave again.

As Lourca entered the ranks of the enemy, she could see the position of the enemies.

She had injected himself with drugs, and they were now taking effect.

Her perception greatly increased as she entered a pseudo-Day Dreaming state.

In that realm, she could use the ability of prediction and calculation. Most people could not perform instant calculations like Arthur, even with their knowledge of Math. But with the Day Dreaming State, Lourca could do it.

Simple machine gun fire and some rockets were sent out around the foes, and they all began to blast and attack the enemies. But these precise attacks caused aiming exoskeletons to have misdirected fire, other flying soldiers to fall into a chaotic swerve, and even other rocket-propelled weapons to explode prematurely.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The explosions created a chain reaction of chaos that caused more damage to those around them.

Madelyne was surprised at what she saw.

"Chaos Order...!" She recognized the few known skills that Pridgeon had gathered. This was Arthur's ability that could cripple an army with ease!

Lourca fought and allowed the Gargantuant to find a way.

Cecilia drove the ship in that direction.

"The rest of you need to go beyond your limitations! If you want to survive this mess, fight on! The earthlings constantly faced threats like this and have overcome Mid-Tiers and Top-Tiers! And their eyes are aimed even higher! I am not worried... because I know this little threat won't be enough to kill me!" Lourca declared as she fought on.

Cecilia saw Lourca's battle and couldn't believe that a mere Pioneer would have such power.

Ninalet was also amazed.

They followed the trail of chaos that was clearing a path for them.

Cecilia continued to give her orders and supported Lourca's strategy.

Ninalet led a platoon of Pioneers wielding unique Exoskeletons and managed to make a breakthrough.

But at that moment, three places exploded with Universe Energy as the three Thrones charged forward.

The three Presiders were moving!

Lourca frowned. He saw the three move out and couldn't understand why they would immediately fight when the time to attack was not yet ripe.

"Why?" Lourca frowned.

"Lourca. If you really think your allies didn't abandon you, why would they leave us to fight these three?!"

"I don't think they accounted for the Presiders to attack! We have to regroup! My attacks are ineffective against Mid-Tiers!"

The trio began to talk out a plan and charted a way out.

Madelyne had covered for Lourca and created a strange power that was forcibly altering the Fourth dimension. Portals and doors began to appear all over the battlefield. Madelyne's tech was temporarily linked to the Void Realm, and it was creating more chaos that Lourca took advantage of. But this was not enough.

Strange vortexes of dark matter were summoned by one Presider, and it began to rain down an attack on the group.

The two Presiders were prepping for their attack and were harnessing even more energy!

The three worked as one.

Cecilia saw it, and her heart trembled. It was too deadly! Why did these Presiders directly use Universe Energy when their armies could have slowly drained and defeated the three?

Haresha was silent the entire time. She continued to carry a look of fear and terror, but in reality, she knew the answer as to why the Presiders were being reckless. The three Presiders were forced to attack. Haresha's body had received another important piece of information. The hidden fortress of Porrelom had vanished from its place and used a massive amount of Universe Energy to send it back to the First Layer of the Orbital!

"Why did Porrelom move? And why so close to this location?! The three Presiders are now all forced to move, fearing a possible attack on them. There is no other explanation! If Porrelom goes after Cecilia, then it's all over! I have to save them!" Haresha cursed as she had no choice.

As the battle continued, a strange portal opened to the side, and it was as if an entirely new tunnel had appeared, and an army of Exoskeletons, jets, Gargantuant, and a special V-shaped ship began to fly out of this sudden hole.

Ninalet saw it and recognized them!

"That's Haresha's army!" Ninalet explained.

Cecilia frowned all the more. It was bad that Ninalet had appeared.

The three Presiders were also caught off guard.

"Haresha! What business do you have here?!" One of the Presiders shouted.

"Stand down! All of you! I am here to find an important member of Porellom's army! Hand him to me, and I will cease my attack! Cecilia! Give Iezebel to me! I know you have her!" Haresha's voice echoed out loudly as her armies assumed formation.

The three Presiders all paused, and their forces began to stop and retreat.

They gave space between their armies and Cecilia's escaping ship. They all feared the wrath of Haresha. They knew full well just what Haresha was capable of.

Haresha was not directly controlling her army, so her appearance was a bluff. Should the three armies fight, it would lead to great losses to Haresha, although she might win due to the inherent manpower and the powerful team of Pioneer Commanders.

Cecilia was stunned and turned to Haresha's sealed body.

"Iezebel?! You?! She's after you!" Cecilia was amazed and turned around.

Haresha wore a surprised look.

"We have to get out of here! She must be after me because of my information about Porrelom! She's going to torture me and kill you all!" Haresha shouted.

"Kill us all? Not if we ship you off in a rocket! Cecilia! Send her out!" Madelyne appeared in the room. She had retreated and hid inside.

"No! Don't! Don't give me to her!" Haresha began to shout, but as Madelyne crossed examined her, it was clear that this Iezebel was only giving out whatever excuse to save herself!

Haresha constantly pleaded not to have her over. But this was simple reverse psychology. Now that everyone had left, there was no reason left to remain. Haresha wanted to merge with her true body and Throne and recover her state. As the power of Astrology was not valid now, she needed to retreat. She needed to go back for her safety!

"You idiot! Why would we give her to Haresha? This only proves the value of this girl! We need to keep the girl, and we need to get out of here!" Lourca ordered as she also arrived in the room.

Haresha wanted to choke Lourca for what she claimed.

"Cecilia! Trust me! My allies would want her to remain here!"

"Trust you and your allies?!" Haresha shouted and mocked.

"Don't hand me over! Haresha will torture all of you! You think this was all chance! She must be using that power of hers! She knew the future would lead to this! Ask Ninalet!" Haresha turned and pleaded.

Just a little more push, and she would be traded away!
