Chapter 625: Time Bomb

Lynd and the rest had serious expressions when they heard Lennox's words.

Time would loop back and suddenly would return to a certain state. They were within a loop that appeared within the fortress.

Cliff had used his Day Dreamer ability, but even in this realm, time was looping back, making the scenery appear like a badly looped video.

"How do we get out of this?" Cliff cursed.

"Cliff. Dispel your daydream!"

Cliff immediately followed, and time normally flowed once more.

As time stopped, the team continued to move forward. But now the scenery appeared as if they were moving at top speed coursing through the strange fortress.

"Try to break out!" Lynd ordered.

Everyone went their way and used the powerful technologies that made their throne zoom at Mach speed.

Jake tried to navigate and fly out and use his power as he tried to slip through the realm.

Rai used his powers to leap the Void Realm.

But when they used their power, they found themselves in the same position flying at incredible speed.

"It's not working!" Gardo shouted.

"...For now, stop exerting energy. We are caught in a time loop, and our speed is constant. It's just an illusion." Lennox instructed.

Everyone quickly stopped using their powers to move but found themselves speeding up. The moment they stopped moving, they found themselves moving at great speed.

"Did we... jump right in their trap?" Harker frowned.

"No. This magic was activated. If anything, we managed to infiltrate his place so fast that he had to use this high-level power!"

"What if we just waited it out?" Meryl suggested.

"Stopping and lopping time isn't exactly easy, right?"

"But that gives him the advantage. Besides, does Time loop inside a Mobius strip? I have a feeling that this time loop would be infinite or would last to outlive us by several lifetimes..." Lennox answered.

"...What if we stop time?" Lynd asked.

"The Realm Kings power? We can't use that right now! Lioncourt's not here!" Meryl frowned.

"No. But I think I can imitate it. But I would need Cliff's help."

"Lynd... I'm already at my very limits. Even if I used various potions and pills to regenerate the lost energy, I would be drained when we reach Render!"

"...So would I. Stopping time would expend a lot of my power. That means Cliff and I are out for the battle unless we find something in this fortress that can recharge us."

"We don't have time. We have to decide now! Use Time Stop and drain Lynd and Cliff... or wait it out and face the trap of Render!"

"We stop time. Render has been outsmarted and cannot use his powers or whatever variation of Zone that he has. The rest of us will fight him. Jake, take Cliff and Lynd and find an energy source. Will buy you some time!"

"I vote that," Meryl answered.

"Me too..." Guinevere also added.

"Let's do this!" Gardo was heating up.

"We have the offensive. Let's not lose this advantage!" Harker shouted.

"Right! Cliff! I need you to use Day Dreamer one more time!"

"Take care of us, Jake!" Cliff answered as he closed his eyes.

The dimensional world of dreams seeped out again, but this time, Lynd used the Realm King's power.

The supreme control of Realm that Lioncourt had allowed him to alter the relativity of time itself.

Time began to stop.

The time loop was slowing down at first, and suddenly, it stopped.

BOOM!

A powerful shock wave and vibration began to course as the elements of time clashed against each other.

The ripple effect of the stoppage of time created a strange phenomenon that Lennox would later call the Time Bomb effect. In the strange, three-dimensional compressed world of the Mobius strip, time would have looped, but the stoppage of it created a rippling effect as some places advanced in time while other regions moved back in time.

The team was shocked as they saw the ripple of energy shooting out from their location and spreading out the entire area.

But no one had any time to pause.

Jake followed his instincts and sought a safe place as his Throne connected with Lynd and Cliff's throne.

The two had become silent as they had fainted from the massive power that they shot out.

The rest of the team maintained a formation with the Lightning form of Guinevere's ship shooting onwards through the cities.

But the cities and the people had been blown back by the power that rippled out.

"What was that?" Meryl asked Lennox.

"We don't have the science of what happens when we make time clash against itself within a three-dimensional compressed world of a one-dimensional Mobius strip." Lennox gave a rare laugh.

"You!" An enraged howl was heard.

A man with three heads and seven wings flew from the far end of the Mobius strip and was rushing at them at full speed.

The explosions that occurred all over the base caused an unstable reaction, and soon, the true form of the fortress was peeking out of its location within the Orbital.

The fortress that revealed itself in the three-dimensional space of the Inner Core of the orbital was like a large vertical city shaped like a helix spiraling upwards.

Meryl and the rest found themselves right in the middle levels of the Helix and were rushing upwards.

From above, the form of Render looked down as he began to stabilize the dimensions around him and save his fortress from crashing into the ground.

Space was distorting as the area around him was shifting and spinning into a helix. The area around him was warping in the dimensions beyond.

"His supra-dimensional form is showing!" Gardo was amazed. He had heard that all Presiders had these forms, but only the strong could show it. But now, Render was showing off its real form to them in the three dimensions!

"We're fighting something that's practically at the level of a powerful Biblical angel like the wheels and the beasts in Daniel and Revelation!" Harker exclaimed.

"An Asura! He's like those asura demons!" Gardo could feel a great power lurking as even time was changing.

"He's changing time!" Guinevere noticed.

"Don't worry, kids! It's not one of the beasts of the bible!" Meryl smiled.

"Meaning?" Gardo asked.

"Meaning it's not strong enough to be one of the threats that Earth will face! Let's kill it!" Meryl shouted as her body glowed with great light, and the cells in her body began to harness the force that could deal damage Ceasar's body!

The rest took courage at what Meryl said. The form of the Asura was not among the beast that was shown in Daniel and Revelation. This was not one of the most threatening enemies they would face.

All rushed to the top where Render was.

Meanwhile... Back on top of the Top layer of the Orbital...

"Wow! That was crazy! Now for our real mission! Attack that Presider! Erm... What was his name again? It was hard to pronounce! That Presider that stole my flounder." Vender asked the group.

Three Thrones followed him as they flew over the mountain regions. The three thrones had many dents and even slight holes that were slowly recovering and closing up.

"Thunder, you idiot!" Lowengren shouted in anger.

"Eh? No. The Presider's name was Blossom or something. Not thunder."

"No! He meant to correct what you said about stealing your flounder! The expression is 'Steal my thunder!'" Irvana shouted with great rage.

"Steal my thunder? That can't be right. A person can't steal someone else's thunder. Well, unless they're Lennox. But I believe the expression steal my flounder came from ancient times when fishing was the main occupation of the land. Anyway, I forgot where Presider Bellosom was."

"It's Perrolom!"

SMASH!

The enraged Irvana couldn't take it anymore and smashed her throne to Vender's.

It was her first time working with Vender, and she couldn't understand the rhythm and flow of Vender. Five times her throne crashed on Vender, and the resulting chain reaction from those five impacts made it pointless for her to remain invisible. She would use her power to disappear and leave the chaos but would end up being smacked into Vender's Throne.

Vender was the leader, and the impacts made it difficult for Lowengren and Seeker to save Vendor to the point that they ordered Irvana not to be invisible.

BOOM!

Vender's throne landed on a nearby mountain.

"Owww! Hey! You did that on purpose!"

"Stop! The both of you!" Seeker was exasperated.

"Several Presiders have already chased us, and our plan to infiltrate Perrolom isn't working! Vender! What kind of an idiot are you that you didn't listen even to the slightest details of the plan?! Perrolom's fortress was the other way! We've been going in the opposite direction! We were supposed to go to the Inner layer, but now, we're back on top!" Seeker couldn't take it in. He tried to let Vender take the lead but finally cracked at his frustration with Vender.

WARRRRRPPP!

A gigantic light suddenly flashed out at the far north side over the mountains.

It was a fortress! A massive fortress had warped out, and it had several towers similar to the Babels erected on Earth. It towered over the mountains, and the energy it used began to drain.

"...Is that Presider Perrolom's fortress?" Vender asked.

"..."

"..."

"..."

Seeker was not sure. Why was there a fortress there?!

"Hmmm? Hey! You guys! You're not the Earthlings, are you? I had guessed that you would secretly be after me... How did you know I would warp out here to avoid you?" Perrolom's voice echoed from the far distance.
