Never Judge

Chapter 737 - 737

As Cedric ended the call with Ram he knew that his friends would be flocking to this small town soon enough.

He asked Dave to make the necessary arrangements to house them. At his point they might need to book the whole hotel. They had already booked two floors as it stood.

"Nicole will want to come over." Ian told Cedric.

"Will you allow her?" Cedric asked his assistant.

"Of course not." Ian scoffed. Nicole was pregnant and he was just as over protective as Cedric when it came to the woman he loved. "I just know she will insist on tagging along with Miguel when he comes here."

"And how sure are you Miguel will tag along?" Cedric asked Ian with a raised eyebrow.

"Ram can't keep a secret from his sister, their sibling bond is just way too tight." Ian said with a laugh. "Of course Veronica will tell Miguel and he isn't one to be left out."

"Have her stay at Mountain View with Adrianna." Cedric suggested. "I plan on increasing security to keep my wife and son safe. We never know what these people will do once backed into a corner."

"You'll stop Adrianna from going to work?" Ian asked Cedric.

"Until this dies down." Cedric said with a nod.

"Seth said he'll arrive first thing tomorrow." Ian informed Cedric.

"That should be good timing." Cedric said with a nod. "It gives the news time to spread. I want these people taken down in one motion. I don't plan on giving them a chance to get back up again."

"Like you should have done to many of your enemies." Katerina scoffed.

Unlike Cedric, the Sebastians were much more brutal and unforgiving to their enemies. They always saw to it that once they were crossed their enemies would be crushed.

"I've learned, especially after Aiden." Cedric said with a frown.

"I personally would have wanted to gouge that man's eyes out." Katerina said with a grin, not caring who would hear her.

"Why do you Sebastians have to be so ruthless?" Ian asked as he pointed at Katerina.

"Oh please, it's not  like you don't have that kind of darkness in you either Ian." Katerina said as she rolled her eyes at the assistant. "You were with the gangs in the past and Cedric still asks you to do his dirty work."

"I don't do those things unless it's necessary." Ian said as he tried to defend himself.

"Don't even get me started on your revenge plan. I've known you longer than your wife Ian, don't lie." Katerina pointed out.

"I'm still not as blood thirsty as you and Alexi." Ian argued.

"Guys, enough!" Cedric shouted. "As much as I am enjoying your banter there are a few things we need to start working on."

"Like?" Katerina asked Cedric.

"I need to give someone a call, someone that will help us with getting Lucius to trust Camilla." Cedric said as he began to think of a ploy. "We plan on expanding Mor Co. Internationally this year, Ian I want you to get our list of suppliers, the crucial ones."

"What are you going to do with them?" Ian asked as he eyed Cedric suspiciously.

"I want to know which one is easily swayed." Cedric told Ian. "That one supplier will be given to Lucius by Camilla. It will cripple us for sure for a while but other suppliers can compensate."

"And how do you plan on making up the financial losses?" Ian asked Cedric as he tried to see how far Cedric had thought his plan through. Sometimes Cedric would think ten steps ahead or miss a step or two. It didn't hurt to be a sounding board for ideas.

"I plan on taking Mor Co. towards a different direction, one that I haven't announced to the public yet." Cedric told Ian. "I just need to contact an old friend."

"Aright. I'll go get the information now from Camilla's assistant." Ian said with a nod as he disappeared to a separate room to make some calls.

"The Baron's won't hold back you know." Katerina told Cedric as she looked him in the eyes. "They know how important a company's image to the public is."

"I think I can handle some boycotts for one day, Katerina." Cedric said in a serious tone. "Tomorrow will be entirely different."

As he and Katerina spoke, Cedric's phone began ringing.

"They are fast." Katerina pointed out as she assumed that the caller was someone asking about Cedric's newest scandal.

"Mae, make sure that everyone knows not to comment." Cedric instructed as he took a look at his phone.

"Office or personal?" Katerina asked.

"We both know that the employees of the Reyes Group would never call me, and the media don't know this number. It's my dad." Cedric groaned as he picked up the call.

"Da-" Before Cedric could even say anything Emilio Reyes' booming voice came through the phone.

"Cedric Reyes , how dare you ruin our family's good name!" Emilio Reyes scolded. "For years we've done well without the need of bribing public officials, and now I have to see it in the news that you are paying them for a piece of land?"

"Oh wow, they are fast." Cedric said as he thought of how he had just sent the Barons the message that he would not cooperate with them.

"What do you mean they are fast?" Emilio said, sounding completely confused.

"Dad, don't worry, we set this up. Relax." Cedric told his father over the phone.

"What do you mean?" Emilio Reyes said, repeating his question.

"Dad, I'll explain when I get home, but for now I need you to trust me." Cedric told his father.

"Fine, but you better talk to your sister. I don't want her to get stressed over this." Emilio warned his son.

"Oh right. I'll visit you when I get back dad. Gotta call Ayanna." Cedric said as he quickly dropped the call and dialed his sister's number.
