Necromancer Of The Shadows

Chapter 1347 - 1347: One Month (Part 3)

Twenty days passed in the blink of an eye since Eclipse left the closed world of Drayds.

Because Evan still hadn’t come out of the training room, Sylvan had nothing to do in the meantime and was basking in the sun with a relaxed look on his face.

During these twenty days, he had received many reports about the Frozen Monarchy Empire from the Phoenix Clan and Leopold (The vampire enslaved by Anastasia)

According to them, the Empire was gathering their army as if preparing for something big.

Even without the Phoenix Clan telling anything, Sylvan knew that the reason the Frozen Monarchy was mobilizing its forces was because of what Evan had done in the Maldrith Kingdom during their last outing.

“So many things to do…” Sylvan muttered with a sigh as he thought about the preparations he would need to make once things began to heat up.

“That guy talked about going to the Dragon Islands to end the war between Dragons and Demons, but there has been no word from him for the last twenty days.”

As Sylvan was complaining, through his connection with the closed world of Drayds, he felt someone entering the world using the teleportation formation.

Raising an eyebrow, he immediately checked who had entered the realm.

As his spiritual sense reached the teleportation building, he saw Eclipse trotting out of it with a smug look on his beastly face.

“He returned earlier than I thought…” The old man muttered in surprise and instantly disappeared from where he was.

The next second, he reappeared in front of Eclipse and asked with a hopeful look on his face.

“So, how was it?”

Eclipse was slightly startled when Sylvan suddenly appeared before him, but at the question, a proud expression bloomed on his leopard like face, and he spoke in a haughty tone.

“Do you even need to ask? Since I was the one who went there, it’s already a done deal.”

Sylvan was genuinely shocked by Eclipse’s words and looked at him in disbelief.

“How did you manage to convince them?”

Eclipse snorted at Sylvan’s question and sneered.

“Those bastards obviously didn’t take me seriously at first and tried to kill me the moment they heard my proposal.” He paused, and the proud look on his face deepened.

“However, because of my transcendent powers, even their Rank Five Core Evolvers couldn’t kill me. Just when things were getting messy, their leader appeared. And when he saw me, it seemed he realized I was a shadow undead—and understood whose servant I am.”

Sylvan stared blankly at Eclipse’s proud face.

“So… the reason they agreed to that ridiculous proposal is because their leader mistakenly thought you were sent by the Shadow Monarch?”

“What do you mean by he mistaken me for someone else?” Eclipse looked at him in confusion. “I was really sent by the Shadow Monarch.”

Sylvan opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out. In the end, he simply shook his head and decided not to say anything.

“Well, everything is fine as long as they are willing to help us during the war.”

Eclipse didn’t comment further and nodded.

“I will be going back,” He said, and immediately dashed away—eager to inform Evan of his successfully completed mission.

Sylvan watched Eclipse leave and, after a moment, sighed deeply.

“At the pace things are moving, it’s not impossible for us to kill Winterclaw in the upcoming war.”

Taking a step forward, he vanished from his position and returned to where he had been earlier, once again basking in the sun with a relaxed expression.

It didn’t take long for Eclipse to reach the place where Evan was training. Entering the house, he quickly located Evan through their connection and arrived outside the underground training room.

As he stopped outside the room, Eclipse felt incredibly powerful fluctuations of law energy radiating from within.

Afraid he might disturb Evan, Eclipse refrained from entering and waited patiently outside.

Time passed, and a few hours later, the intense law energy fluctuations began to weaken.

A few moments after that, the fluctuations completely vanished, and Eclipse was about to go in—when suddenly, even more powerful waves of law energy erupted from the training room.

An aura far stronger than Evan’s from twenty days ago swept through the surroundings.

The space in a radius of thousands of kilometers fluctuated, and thin void cracks began to form across the area.

Eclipse was stunned by the phenomenon, but his eyes soon sparkled with admiration.

“As expected from Master. In just a few days, his power has increased again.”

Still, Eclipse didn’t rush inside. He waited calmly for the law energy fluctuations to subside.

Unlike earlier, it didn’t take long and within just half an hour, everything returned to normal.

The space ceased shaking, and the thin void cracks dispersed completely.

But just like before, the same thing happened again as only a few seconds after the energy fluctuations disappeared, they reappeared.

Time passed, and in this manner, another ten days went by.

Eclipse stood outside the training room all that time, not doing anything.

On the tenth day of his return, as the law energy fluctuations faded once more, Eclipse sensed something different coming from the training room.

This feeling grew stronger when, even after one hour, the energy fluctuations didn’t reappear.

Just as he was debating whether or not to go inside, his expression changed as he received a message from Evan through their connection.

“Come in.”

Without hesitation, Eclipse opened the door and stepped inside.

But the moment he entered, he couldn’t help but came to a sudden halt as a small mountain made entirely of ashes stood tall before him, blocking his view.

Eclipse stared at the ashes in confusion, wondering where the mountain had come from.

Just when he was staring at the mountain in confusion, a small void rift opened and swallowed the entire thing in a single pull.

With the mountain gone, Evan— who had been standing behind it finally came into Eclipse’s view.
