Chapter 586 - 414: Come to Our Buddha Country and Experience This True Paradise
His eyes were bright and full of spirit, gleaming with the light of wisdom and compassion.
His spiritual state was radiant, and his entire being exuded an otherworldly aura,
like a living Buddha descended upon the Mortal World, having already transcended its mortal coils.
In the solemn, yet bustling, square of the Buddha Country,
Abbot Tonghua stood silently on a high platform, draped in a golden kasaya.
His gaze pierced through the surging crowd, settling on the sapphire-blue sky, his heart filled with a grand vision for the Buddha Country’s future.
In his mind’s eye, the Buddha Country’s radiance would illuminate the land, and every corner would be bathed in the grace of the Buddhist Dharma.
Just then, a figure as light as a gentle breeze wove through the tide-like crowd.
The newcomer was a young monk, his robes as white as snow.
Under the caress of the gentle breeze, his robes fluttered like flowing moonlight.
His face was ruddy, his teeth as white as jade, and his eyes were like clear springs, transparent to their depths and radiating a tranquil aura.
This was none other than Ming Chan, who had once followed Abbot Tonghua to the distant Black Continent Grassland.
Ming Chan moved with light steps, came before Abbot Tonghua, and slowly pressed his palms together in a solemn and devout gesture.
He bowed slightly, displaying the humility and respect of a disciple of the Buddhist Sect.
"Abbot Tonghua," he began softly, "there is a guest from across the ocean, who has traveled a great distance, eagerly hoping for an audience with you."
"The person who has come must be Guerrero of the Lighthouse Empire’s Bright Holy See."
Abbot Tonghua’s gaze was profound. He didn’t respond directly to Ming Chan’s report, but instead offered this conjecture with a confident tone.
Upon hearing this, a flicker of surprise crossed Ming Chan’s face.
His once-clear eyes were now filled with confusion and doubt.
He couldn’t understand how the abbot could guess the visitor’s identity so precisely, as if he possessed some miraculous ability of foresight.
Abbot Tonghua noticed the surprise on Ming Chan’s face. "The Power of Faith I have accumulated,"
"is like a surging river, growing larger by the day."
"Now, every inch of land, every corner of the entire Buddha Country, is under my control."
"Even if a single, insignificant ant were to crawl into the Buddha Country’s territory,"
"I would sense the minuscule disturbance it creates as clearly as I feel my own heartbeat."
He raised his head slightly, his gaze fixed on the endless void. "I feel it more and more strongly,"
"the day I become a True Buddha is already within reach."
"As long as I continue to steadfastly and piously cultivate the Buddhist Dharma,"
"I will one day ascend to the supreme position of a True Buddha and successfully cultivate the manifestation of the Buddha."
His firm tone was filled with absolute conviction in the future,
as if it were all an unchangeable, predetermined fact.
Ming Chan fell silent for a long moment after hearing the abbot’s words.
He lowered his head slightly, his brow furrowed, as if contemplating the deep meaning behind the abbot’s words.
Then, he slowly raised his head and asked, "Should I have Guerrero come meet with you, Abbot?"
"Let him come."
Abbot Tonghua said without hesitation, his tone calm and decisive.
After receiving his orders, Ming Chan turned and left.
His figure swiftly wove through the tide of people, his steps quick, and he soon vanished into the vast sea of humanity.
Meanwhile, in another tranquil part of the Buddha Country,
the warm sunlight poured down unreservedly, adorning the land like a golden, dreamlike world.
Guerrero stood alone, silently basking in the brilliant sunlight.
He wore the magnificent robes of an Archbishop, embroidered with intricate and exquisite golden patterns that glittered dazzlingly in the sun, proclaiming his incredibly noble status.
At this moment, however, Guerrero was in no mood to admire the picturesque scenery before him.
Guerrero lowered his head slightly, his brow tightly furrowed.
A look of deep astonishment and shock appeared in his eyes.
He could clearly feel the turbulent, surging Power of Faith from the Buddhist Sect all around him.
It was like a boundless, stormy ocean, rushing toward him with the overwhelming force of a tidal wave.
This power was so suffocatingly strong that the Light Power he had spent years painstakingly cultivating was completely suppressed in its presence.
His Light Power was now like a weak candle flame, flickering unsteadily in a gale,
liable to be extinguished by this immense Power of Faith at any moment.
’This so-called Buddha Country was only just established.’
Guerrero marveled to himself. ’To be able to gather the Power of Faith to such a dense and terrifying degree in such a short time...’
’Even the Bright Holy See, with its profound foundation and long history, can’t hold a candle to this!’
He narrowed his eyes slightly, a sharp glint flashing within them as he sank into deep thought.
Before long,
Guerrero, drawing on his keen insight and vast experience, figured out the reason. ’The situations in the Buddha Country and the Lighthouse Empire are worlds apart.’
’In the Lighthouse Empire, all sorts of factions are deeply entrenched and intricately complicated, entangled with one another like a hopelessly knotted mess.’
’Moreover, many of these factions are of comparable strength, evenly matched, and keep each other in check.’
’This makes it fundamentally impossible for the Power of Faith to become highly concentrated within the Lighthouse Empire.’
He paused for a moment. ’But the Buddha Country is completely different. The situation here is much simpler.’
