After hearing Hyuga Kagami’s question, Shinno walked stiffly over to one of the stone pillars in the hall and lightly pressed it.

A hidden compartment immediately appeared on the pillar. Inside was an exquisitely crafted scroll with a black cover.

Kagami took the scroll from the compartment and opened it. Sure enough, what was recorded inside was the Chimera Technique.

Picking up the Chimera Technique scroll that had been tossed aside earlier, Kagami compared the contents of the two scrolls.

He discovered that most of the Chimera Technique recorded in the fake scroll was actually correct. Shinno had only tampered with a few sections—but those happened to be the most crucial parts.

"Hmph, just as I thought!"

With a quiet snort, Kagami put away the genuine Chimera Technique.

Afterward, Kagami asked Shinno another question. "What is this place?"

Shinno answered blankly, "This is Ancor Vantian..."

"Ancor Vantian!?"

Shisui and Itachi exchanged glances, confusion showing on both their faces.

Kagami was equally puzzled.

He knew that the Land of Sky possessed an aerial fortress, but he had never heard of anything called Ancor Vantian.

So he asked Shinno again, "What exactly is Ancor Vantian?"

Shinno replied, "Ancor Vantian is the aerial fortress of our Land of Sky..."

"So this really is that aerial fortress."

After thinking this, Kagami asked, "Can this fortress still fly normally?"

Shinno shook his head blankly. "The fortress’s power system hasn’t been fully repaired yet..."

"How do we repair it?"

Shinno replied, "We need to go to the power room..."

"Lead the way!"

Under Shinno’s guidance, the group soon arrived at the aerial fortress’s power room.

Looking around, Shisui remarked with amazement, "I never imagined the Land of Sky still had an aerial fortress like this!"

Itachi ran a hand along the surrounding walls and asked, "Can this fortress really fly?"

Kagami crouched down and carefully examined the sealing formulas arranged across the center of the power room.

"The amount of power needed to get this fortress airborne probably isn’t something one or two shinobi could provide."

Although the sealing formulas in the power room were extremely old and many had been damaged, Kagami could still easily determine that their primary function was to gather chakra.

From this alone, it was clear that the amount of chakra required to power the aerial fortress’s flight had to be astronomical. Otherwise, there would have been no reason to install so many different chakra-gathering sealing formulas throughout the power room.

Shisui turned his attention to the sealing formulas as well and examined them before asking, "Do these sealing formulas still work?"

Kagami nodded. "Some sections are damaged, but most of them are still functional. With a little repair work, they can continue to be used!"

Among the three of them, when it came to genjutsu, Kagami naturally couldn’t compare to orthodox Uchiha like Shisui and Itachi.

But when it came to sealing techniques and sealing formulas, Shisui and Itachi were no match for Kagami.

In Kagami’s eyes, there were major flaws in the layout of the sealing formulas within the power room. Moreover, due to their age, many of them were badly deteriorated and extremely inefficient.

Rather than patching them up piece by piece, it would be better to tear the whole thing down and redesign an entirely new set of sealing formulas from scratch.

With that thought in mind, Kagami began planning the design of a brand-new sealing array while casually asking Shinno, who was still trapped in the genjutsu, "What were you Land of Sky shinobi planning to do after activating this aerial fortress?"

Shinno answered mechanically, "Destroy Konoha..."

Shisui and Itachi were both startled.

At the same time, intense killing intent erupted from them!

Unlike most other Uchiha, in Shisui and Itachi’s hearts, the village stood above the clan. If anyone dared lay a hand on Konoha, the two of them truly would fight with everything they had.

Shisui said coldly, "You lunatic. You actually planned to destroy Konoha? You think you can wipe out Konohagakure with nothing but this decaying fortress? Keep dreaming!"

Expressionlessly, Shinno replied, "Ancor Vantian’s weapons system is fully operational. Under clear weather conditions, the fortress’s energy cannon only needs four shots to completely blanket the entire Konohagakure..."

Shisui was immediately rendered speechless. "You..."

Itachi breathed a sigh of relief and slowly said, "En-senpai, Brother Shisui, it’s fortunate we made our move first and subdued him. Otherwise, the village would have faced a catastrophe!"

Kagami nodded, feeling a lingering sense of unease himself.

This time, they had stumbled onto the situation almost by accident.

Kagami had originally come here for the Chimera Technique. He hadn’t expected Shinno to move up his plan to destroy Konoha.

If they had been completely caught off guard by a sudden bombardment from the aerial fortress’s energy cannon, even Kagami couldn’t say with absolute certainty that he would survive.

After all, the physical constitution of Kagami’s true body had not exceeded the limits of an ordinary shinobi.

Mōryō and the Priestess were two sides of the same coin. As long as the Priestess remained alive, Mōryō was effectively immortal and indestructible.

Therefore, the best way to deal with Mōryō wasn’t to kill it.

It was to seal it!
