Matatabi

Kazuki stared at the scroll in the dead scientist's hands. He didn't want to take any unnecessary risks.

He created another shadow clone. He ordered the clone to carefully take the scroll and open it to check for any hidden traps. The clone unrolled it fully. It was safe.

Kazuki walked over and looked through the contents. It was indeed a variation of the Reanimation Jutsu, with detailed instructions on how to perform it. However, as Kazuki read further, his brow furrowed. The jutsu required the sacrifice of the person closest to the user, lives of 100 more people and blood of the person the user wants to revive.

'This is very different from the Edo Tensei,' Kazuki thought, analyzing the text. 'It's much more of a dark ritual than a ninjutsu. I wonder if the reincarnated person would get their original mortal body back or an infinite chakra body like the Second Hokage's version?'

As Kazuki continued scanning the scroll, his eyes landed on a specific, circular symbol drawn near the bottom. He instantly recognized it.

"Jashin," Kazuki said aloud.

The moment the word left his mouth, the scroll suddenly ignited on its own. In just a few second it turned into ash and burned the shadow clone as well.

"Huh?" Kazuki muttered. "I hadn't even read it fully yet. So it was connected to Jashin, that explains why it required so many sacrifices and blood. Well, it was useless for me anyway. I would never use a twisted jutsu like that and I don't think any village will either."

Just then, Kazuki's mind was flooded with a sudden rush of information. He received the memories of the shadow clone he had left behind with Yuki.

"So the big fight has started," Kazuki said, his expression turning serious. "Our mission is completed now that the scroll is destroyed and the scientist is dead, so all we have to do now is escape. But before that...."

He took a deep breath and made a few hand signs.

'Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!'

A massive wave of flames erupted from Kazuki's mouth, sweeping through the entire underground laboratory. In just a few seconds, everything in the lab was burned and unrecognizable.

With his task finished, Kazuki turned and ran at top speed toward the direction where his team was fighting.

He reached the main tunnel in a few minutes. As he arrived, he saw that Yugito Nii was fighting against his entire team all by herself. Yuki and Ryuma were breathing heavily, and there were several bloody claw marks on their clothes and bodies.

Kazuki used a flicker to quietly appear right next to Akari. He leaned in and whispered in her ear, "Sensei, our mission is complete."

Yugito's eyes widened as she saw Kazuki come out of the tunnel. "So you were there all along? Where is the scroll?"

Hearing Kazuki's report, Akari didn't hesitate. "We are retreating," she ordered loudly.

Ryuma and Yuki, who were actively engaged in combat with Yugito, immediately jumped back to fall into a retreat formation.

But Yugito didn't stop. "Like hell I'm gonna let you retreat!" she yelled.

She rushed forward with speed and attacked Ryuma. Her claws were inches from him when Yuki suddenly intercepted. Channeling a massive amount of chakra into her fist, she punched Yugito on her side. The heavy impact sent Yugito flying across the tunnel, crashing violently into the wall.

"Let's go!" Akari shouted. "We can't fight her, she's too dangerous!"

All of them immediately turned and started running down the tunnel. But suddenly, an overwhelmingly large amount of chakra flared behind them. The sheer pressure made the air feel heavy.

They all stopped and looked back toward the direction where Yugito had been sent flying.

Intense, blazing blue chakra flared from the rubble, expanding rapidly, taking the massive form of a terrifying, two-tailed cat.

The giant cat opened its mouth and instantly fired a massive ball of blue fire directly at them.

Akari stepped in front of her genin and quickly made a series of hand signs.

'Earth Release: Supreme Earth Dome'

A thick, highly compressed dome of stone instantly erupted from the ground, covering all four of them. The large blue fireball collided with the dome, producing a deafening explosion, but the dome did not collapse. Instead, fueled by Akari's chakra, the stone quickly repaired the damaged sections.

Inside the dome, Akari turned to her team. "Listen to me quickly. She's a Jinchuriki, which means she has almost infinite chakra. We can't fight her head-on, so we have to retreat at any cost. This dome won't break unless it's attacked by something on the level of a Tailed Beast Bomb."

She quickly outlined her strategy. "Here is the plan. I'll use an Earth Release jutsu to reduce its mobility. Then, Yuki, you will use a large-scale Water Release jutsu to hit it hard. Ryuma, you'll look out for any unexpected attacks that she tries to use on us. Kazuki, you'll make as many shadow clones as you can to distract it while we escape."

Everyone nodded, their expressions tense but determined.

Akari released her jutsu, and the earth dome lowered into the ground. Matatabi, the Two-Tails, immediately roared and rushed at them, raising its sharp claws.

Akari slammed her hands onto the ground.

'Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld'

The stone floor beneath the giant beast instantly turned into a deep, sticky swamp. Matatabi was forced to stop in its tracks, its massive paws sinking deep into the mud and halting its charge.

Yuki stepped forward, rapidly weaving a long string of hand signs.

'Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique'

Kazuki watched the massive amount of water gather around Yuki. 'Wow,' he thought in awe. 'She's truly carrying Tobirama's legacy... with these high-level water style jutsu and that silver hair.'

A massive, crushing wave of water erupted forward, colliding directly into the trapped Matatabi. The sheer force and volume of the water made the blazing beast scream loudly.

Seizing the opening, Kazuki quickly made one shadow clone and forty wind clones.

The massive swarm of clones rushed forward to completely surround and distract the beast.

But as the clones closed in, Matatabi opened her massive jaw. The blue flames swirling around her mouth began to condense, and a terrifyingly dense, large black sphere began to form right in front of her teeth.

Kazuki, Yuki, Ryuma, and Akari's eyes all widened in pure horror as they realized exactly what was about to come.
