"Trying to leave? Did you ask for my permission?"

Tonbo Tobitake had no intention of letting them walk away.

All three of them were dying here today—he said so, and not even the Sage of Six Paths could stop him.

The sword in his hand dissolved into light as his fingers wove hand seals at blinding speed.

"Hmph!" EIDA scoffed softly.

Beside her, Daemon looked completely bewildered, unsure of what was happening.

He hadn't expected that a simple walk through the hideout would yield a prime, incapacitated cyborg specimen.

He had long envied the powerful, modified humans Amado had crafted.

Now, one had fallen directly into his hands.

Since Victor understood Daemon's capability, he harbored no killing intent toward the boy—he merely intended to study him.

Amado added calmly, "Rest assured. I have tampered with the Karma data inside Kawaki. Sooner or later, Lord Jigen will be resurrected."
