Chapter 258 : You Should Train To The Level Of Sage Of Six Paths First

So Riku never used it, and naturally, no one in the ninja world ever allowed him to enter Six Paths Mode.

Hearing this, Riku blinked in surprise and smirked. "Indra inherited the Rinnegan?"

Riku recalled that Indra had never awakened the Rinnegan—only the Sharingan.

Kurama gave Riku a side glance and clarified, "No. Indra only awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan before his death."

Riku laughed. "Then how can you say he inherited the Sage's ocular power?"

Kurama sighed in exasperation. "Can you not interrupt me every ten seconds?"

There was little Kurama could do when it came to Riku—he had lost to him too many times to count. All he could do now was be civil.

Riku waved him on. "Go ahead."

Kurama continued, "It's because his Sharingan was already close in power to the Sage's Rinnegan."

Riku blinked again. "Wait—what? The Sharingan had the same level of power as the Rinnegan? And not just any Rinnegan, but the Sage of Six Paths'?"

Kurama nodded. "Exactly. Take Susanoo, for example. Indra could activate a complete, full-body Susanoo with just a three-tomoe Sharingan. A true full-body form—not like Uchiha Madara's. His was much more powerful."

Riku's memory didn't line up with that. He was genuinely shocked. "A three-tomoe Sharingan can access the complete Susanoo?"

Kurama gave him a stern look. "Are you even listening to me?"

Riku went silent, prompting Kurama to continue.

"Indra was a genius from childhood. He was the one who even invented the concept of ninjutsu. Ashura, by comparison, lagged far behind when they were young. But as he matured, Ashura developed the Sage's body and gained the ability to wield my chakra."

Riku froze. "Wait… Ashura could use your chakra? Were you sealed inside him?"

Kurama shook his head. "No. But think about it. Compared to the other Tailed Beasts, my power is vastly greater—even my chakra signature is on another level."

"That's because I hold most of the Ten Tails' power. Ashura, having inherited the Sage's strength, could naturally tap into that power as well."

Riku recalled images of Ashura in a chakra cloak similar to Kurama Mode.

He nodded thoughtfully. "I see. So Ashura's strength was close to the Sage of Six Paths. With the Sage's body and your chakra, even without the Rinnegan, he was only slightly behind."

Kurama added, "Ashura possessed Ultimate Yang Release. And while you're right—he wasn't at the level of the Sage of Six Paths—he was still immensely powerful. In fact, I'd say he was even stronger than the First Hokage. I've always believed Hashirama Senju was his reincarnation."

Riku smirked internally. You guessed right. Hashirama really was the reincarnation of Ashura's chakra.

Kurama continued, "Even if he wasn't his reincarnation, Ashura was the founder of the Senju clan, while Indra was the progenitor of the Uchiha clan. The conflict between their clans has lasted for centuries."

"Despite their immense power, though, neither of them truly reached the level of the Sage of Six Paths. But you… you're already approaching that tier—even without the Rinnegan."

"Your chakra is far more potent than Ashura's. Your immortality is greater. Your physical strength rivals, maybe even exceeds, the Sage's body. You've mastered the Ultimate Wood Style, and if you had the Rinnegan, you'd be at the same level as the Sage of Six Paths."

"And your Ultimate Lightning Style surpasses even Indra's lightning techniques."

Kurama had revealed a trove of secrets, the kind that few in the shinobi world knew.

Of course, Riku was aware of most of them.

"And above the Sage of Six Paths is Ōtsutsuki Kaguya… so the ninja world was created by the Ōtsutsuki clan?"

"All this talk about saving or destroying the world… isn't it all just the Ōtsutsuki family's doing?"

Kurama paused for a moment, then sighed. "Honestly, it does seem that way."

"Now that you mention it, many of the most powerful clans with kekkei genkai or unique bloodlines do seem to carry the blood of the Sage of Six Paths."

Then Kurama looked at Riku again.

Riku smirked. "Don't get any ideas. I'm not descended from the Sage. I have no ties to the Uchiha, Senju, or even the Uzumaki clans."

Kurama closed his eyes and sensed carefully. "You're right. I don't feel anything. You really are different. You're not a descendant of the Sage of Six Paths, and yet you possess such immense power."

Riku smiled. "Exactly. But if the Akatsuki's goal is really to resurrect the Ten Tails… the ninja world is in real danger."

"You were formed from the Ten Tails. Just how strong is it? Compared to me?"

Kurama shot Riku a glare. "Ask me that again when you've reached the Sage of Six Paths' level. The Ten Tails is a world-ending monster. Even the Sage couldn't destroy it. You think you can?"

Riku wasn't offended. He just smiled. "Fair enough. But if the Akatsuki really do unleash the Ten Tails… who in the world could possibly stop it?"
