Naruto: I Stole Tsunade… and Became Hokage
Chapter 350: The Moon Belongs to Konoha; Meeting the Sleeping Ōtsutsuki Kaguya [HN]
Deep within the Ōtsutsuki Palace on the Moon.
A figure was suddenly pulled out from inside.
He wore an ancient white robe and had an aged face. He was none other than the head of the Ōtsutsuki Main Family, Ōtsutsuki Hōgen.
His originally pure white eyes had now turned into an icy, dead blue.
They were the same color as the gigantic Tenseigan.
This man was the head of the Ōtsutsuki Main Family, Ōtsutsuki Hōgen.
Just as he was about to be pulled in front of Chiya by the power of the Rinnegan, he formed hand seals in midair and forcibly stabilized his body before landing.
Even so, his figure still looked somewhat disheveled.
His aged face was filled with coldness.
At this moment, Ōtsutsuki Hōgen was already connected to the enormous Tenseigan and could use part of its power.
The Tenseigan was also the source of all his confidence.
“Uchiha… Chiya.”
Hōgen’s voice carried a trace of anger.
“You have desecrated the sacred land and slaughtered the descendants of the gods. Your sins can only be cleansed by imprisoning your soul forever in the Moonheart Cold Prison.”
Before he could even finish speaking, he did not form any hand seals. His blue eyes merely narrowed slightly.
A terrifying pressure suddenly erupted from his body like an invisible tsunami, sweeping through every corner.
Namikaze Minato, Uchiha Fugaku, and the other Konoha elites instantly felt their breathing tighten, while the chakra throughout their bodies seemed to freeze, leaving them almost unable to move.
He made no unnecessary movements and simply raised his right hand.
A deep green mass of chakra rapidly condensed in his palm, forming an ominous sphere of light with what seemed to be a vortex spinning inside.
“Chakra Devouring Light Sphere!”
Hōgen shouted coldly.
The green sphere instantly tore through the air and shot toward Chiya’s chest with a strange aura capable of devouring everything.
Even the light around it seemed to twist and be drawn inward.
Faced with an attack that would be troublesome for any ninja, Chiya did not even move his feet.
He simply raised one hand calmly, while the purple ripples of his Rinnegan slowly rotated.
“Shinra Tensei.”
An invisible and powerful repulsive force suddenly erupted from his palm!
“Hum!”
The green sphere containing the devouring power stopped completely when it was still three feet away from Chiya, as though it had struck an invisible absolute barrier.
Then, under Hōgen’s slightly stunned gaze, the sphere was forcibly twisted and deflected by the overwhelming repulsive force, flying back at an even greater speed and crashing into the ruins of the palace to the side.
A cloud of dust exploded, and its devouring property did not even have time to activate.
“Child’s play.”
Chiya gave the attack a flat evaluation, as though he had merely brushed away a speck of dust.
The blue light in Hōgen’s eyes intensified, and his anger grew even stronger.
He waved both hands, and dozens of ancient prayer beads instantly appeared around his body.
Each bead was covered with extremely sharp green chakra and spun rapidly, producing a piercing hum.
“Prayer Bead Shuriken!”
Dozens of green streaks of light swept toward Chiya like a swarm of bees, their tricky trajectories sealing every possible escape route.
This time, Chiya did not even use Shinra Tensei.
His Rinnegan stared at the incoming green shuriken.
An invisible vortex formed in front of him.
The Prayer Bead Shuriken, which were powerful enough to cut through metal and jade, instantly had the green chakra attached to them stripped away and devoured when they touched the vortex in front of his eyes.
Once they lost their chakra enhancement, the ordinary prayer beads lost all their power and fell to the ground with a series of clinks, becoming nothing more than ordinary objects.
“How is this possible?!”
Hōgen finally changed expression.
One of his attacks had been forcibly deflected, while the other had been effortlessly absorbed.
This completely exceeded his understanding of the principles of ninjutsu.
‘Is this the power of the Rinnegan?’
“Is that all you have?”
A trace of impatience appeared in Chiya’s voice as he stepped forward.
The pressure of his Rinnegan pushed forward like something tangible.
Hōgen became furious.
As the head of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, when had he ever been treated with such contempt?
He spread both arms, and the space behind him trembled as countless prayer beads emerged from thin air.
“Prayer Bead Light Cannon!”
In the next moment, countless prayer beads covered in green chakra turned into a dense rain of green lasers, carrying a destructive aura as they covered Chiya and all the Konoha members behind him without distinction.
The attack covered an enormous area.
Clearly, Hōgen wanted to force Chiya into a situation where he could not completely protect the people behind him.
Chiya’s eyes turned cold.
“Susanoo!”
Chakra surged into the sky, and a crimson skeletal frame instantly condensed, firmly protecting Chiya and the Konoha members behind him.
It was the initial form of Susanoo.
“Thud, thud, thud, thud!”
The dense green lasers struck the crimson skeletal frame like heavy rain hitting banana leaves.
However, the seemingly thin skeleton was completely indestructible.
The green light cannons merely created waves of ripples upon impact before completely disappearing without being able to shake it in the slightest.
“Protection? Let’s see how long you can protect them!”
Hōgen shouted fiercely and formed an ancient hand seal.
The space behind him violently twisted as an enormous amount of chakra gathered.
A gigantic stone statue with a face resembling Ōtsutsuki Hamura suddenly descended!
The statue’s eyes flashed with the same blue light as Hōgen’s.
It swung its mountain sized fist downward with enough force to crush everything, smashing toward the crimson skeletal frame.
“As long as the Tenseigan remains intact, the statue will never be destroyed! Feel despair, mortal!”
Hōgen’s voice was filled with fanatical confidence.
Faced with the enormous statue, the skeletal form of Susanoo seemed somewhat small.
But Chiya’s response was an even greater surge of power.
“Complete Body, Susanoo!”
Boom!!!
Vast chakra erupted like a tsunami!
The crimson skeleton was instantly covered by black tengu armor, while flesh and veins rapidly formed.
A gigantic Complete Body Susanoo, even taller and more imposing than Hamura’s statue and resembling a demon god, rose from the ground.
It wore black flame armor and had wings on its back.
In its hands was a huge chakra blade wrapped in ominous black flames.
“Crush.”
The Complete Body Susanoo moved.
It did not even use the blade.
It simply raised its massive armored foot and stomped down on the charging Hamura statue like it was crushing an insect.
“Boom!!!”
Amid the deafening explosion, the enormous Hamura statue was as fragile as a sandcastle before the absolute power of the Complete Body Susanoo.
It was crushed from head to toe by a single stomp!
Broken stones flew in every direction like falling meteors.
Hōgen’s pupils contracted, but he immediately sneered.
“Useless! As long as the Tenseigan remains intact, the statue will immediately re…”
His words suddenly stopped.
The scattered stones did not gather together as he had expected.
At the moment the statue was crushed, the Amaterasu black flames wrapped around the foot of the Complete Body Susanoo spread like a parasite clinging to bone, instantly covering every fragment of stone.
“Blaze Release, Kagutsuchi!”
Chiya’s cold voice rang out.
Under his precise control, the Amaterasu black flames not only burned, but also possessed a powerful ability to cling to their targets and continue destroying them.
Green chakra attempted to surge from the void and repair the statue, but the moment it touched the black flames, it was ignited and burned away.
“No! This is impossible!”
Hōgen finally let out an enraged roar.
His supposedly indestructible statue had been completely countered by the enemy in a way he could not understand.
“Have you had enough?”
Inside the Complete Body Susanoo, Chiya’s Rinnegan looked down at the panicked Hōgen like a god looking down upon a struggling insect.
“Then take this attack.”
The Complete Body Susanoo gripped the enormous chakra blade wrapped in raging black flames with both hands.
At the same time, the nature of the chakra within Chiya’s body changed.
“Steel Release!”
A dark golden sheen instantly covered the blade of the black sword, giving it an extremely sharp aura capable of cutting through anything.
Black flames roared across the blade, while lightning flowed through it like water, faintly merging together.
“It’s over.”
The blade descended.
There was no huge display of power.
There was only a thin black line that quietly cut through space.
Hōgen sensed an unprecedented threat of death.
He desperately released all his power, causing his eyes to shine brightly as he rapidly spun the prayer beads with both hands.
“Silver Wheel Rebirth Explosion!”
A gigantic silver ring formed from countless green prayer beads appeared.
A terrifying tornado erupted from within it, powerful enough to shatter the surface of the Moon, and surged toward the black line.
However, before the slash that combined the extreme burning power of Amaterasu black flames, the absolute sharpness of Steel Release, the flexibility of Storm Release, and the destructive energy of the Complete Body Susanoo, the so called Silver Wheel Rebirth Explosion was like fragile silk facing a red hot blade.
“Shhk!”
A faint cutting sound rang out.
The enormous silver tornado was split in two by the black line and instantly collapsed.
The black line continued forward.
Under Hōgen’s despairing gaze, it passed through his body, passed through the enormous phantom projection of the Tenseigan behind him, and finally disappeared into the distant void.
Time seemed to freeze for an instant.
Hōgen stood rigidly in place.
He looked down in disbelief and saw a thin black line running through the center of his body.
Undying black flames burned along the line.
He tried to draw upon his chakra, only to discover that his connection to the Tenseigan had been completely severed.
The power had never truly belonged to him.
He could not bring out its true effect.
“I… refuse…”
He struggled to utter those few words.
The next moment, the black flames suddenly erupted.
They swallowed him together with his unwilling final words and burned him into nothing but ashes, which scattered into the cold air of the Moon.
The head of the Ōtsutsuki Main Family on the Moon…
Had fallen!
The Complete Body Susanoo slowly disappeared, and Chiya’s figure gently descended from the sky.
His Rinnegan swept across the silent battlefield and the surviving Ōtsutsuki Main and Branch Family members who were kneeling on the ground and trembling in fear.
“The Moon belongs to Konoha now.”
His declaration was calm, yet it carried the absolute power of someone ending an era.
The surviving Ōtsutsuki members had already been frightened out of their wits by this godlike battle.
They all knelt on the ground and offered their lowest submission to the man who seemed both a creator god and a demon god of destruction.
Chiya’s indifferent gaze swept across the kneeling Branch Family members.
His voice was calm, yet it carried the force of an order and spread throughout the entire Moon.
“The old order is dead. From this moment onward, the Moon will become part of Konoha’s territory. All of you are now citizens of Konoha, and you must obey Konoha’s laws.”
“From now on, take your clansmen and leave the Moon!”
After saying this, Chiya looked toward the Konoha members.
“Maintain order and help them leave in an orderly manner!”
“Yes!!”
The Konoha members accepted the order and quickly began helping everyone leave.
…
A day passed quickly.
The enormous Moon now had only Chiya left, along with the silence and ruins left behind by the battle.
Chiya walked step by step toward the deepest part of the Moon.
With his deep control over the Rinnegan, he could clearly sense that beneath the thick layers of rock and powerful seals was that cold, familiar, and immense chakra.
“Kaguya…”
He arrived before an enormous sealing barrier covered in Six Paths Sage Art runes.
This was the final place where Ōtsutsuki Kaguya had been sealed.
The power flowing across the barrier carried a peaceful yet extremely firm aura.
Chiya reached out and touched the cold barrier.
The light of his Rinnegan grew brighter, while natural energy around him also gathered wildly and resonated with the chakra inside his body.
He held two fingers together like a sword.
Chakra and natural energy perfectly merged and condensed at his fingertips, forming a thin blade of light that shimmered with chaotic colors and had a purple halo flowing along its edges.
The blade of light silently cut into the indestructible Six Paths sealing barrier.
There was no fierce resistance.
The barrier, which represented the highest sealing technique of the Sage of Six Paths, was like an enemy of this blade of light that combined the power of all things, extreme insight, and the force of nature.
It was smoothly and precisely cut open into a huge circular entrance.
Its edges were as smooth as a mirror, and not even a trace of energy escaped.
Chiya stepped inside.
Inside the seal was a world of emptiness and silence.
At the center of the space, a white robed, white haired woman was bound by enormous Yin Yang Release restraints and floated in midair.
She was incredibly beautiful.
Her eyes were closed, and her long white eyelashes resembled butterfly wings.
Her expression was so peaceful that it was heartbreaking, as though she had merely fallen into a long sleep.
It was Ōtsutsuki Kaguya.
Chiya quickly stepped forward, as though crossing through time.
Once again, he truly stood before her.
Memories of the times he had stood beside her surfaced one after another, and the complicated emotions in his chest surged.
However, when he approached and carefully examined her with the Rinnegan, his heart gradually sank.
This body possessed chakra as vast as a sea of stars, yet inside it was an empty silence.
He could not sense any fluctuation of consciousness or any spark of spirit.
It was like a perfect and flawless work of art with infinite power, yet it had lost its most important soul.
‘Was it because a thousand years of sealing had worn her consciousness away?’
‘Or was her consciousness originally separated from her main body by the seal?’
‘Could the key to truly reviving Ōtsutsuki Kaguya be with Black Zetsu?’
His excitement gradually settled.
It was replaced by deep pity and an even firmer determination.
“No matter where your consciousness is sleeping or where it has been lost…”
Chiya gently caressed Kaguya’s cold and smooth cheek, his voice low and firm.
“I will find you and awaken you. This is what I want in my heart, and it is also my oath now.”
The pattern of his Mangekyō Sharingan appeared, and space began to twist.
“Kamui!”
A powerful space time vortex slowly drew Kaguya’s body inside.
He placed her in the safest and deepest area of his personal Kamui dimension.
He then covered the area with layers of Uzumaki sealing techniques.
They were not meant to imprison her.
They were the strictest form of protection, cutting off all outside observation and interference while waiting for the day she truly returned.
After completing everything, Chiya took a deep look at the empty and silent sealing space before turning to leave.
After he departed, the entrance he had cut into the barrier slowly closed.
It was as though nothing had ever happened.
…
When he returned to Konoha and entered the Hokage’s office, Chiya did not rest for even a moment.
He immediately gave new and far reaching orders to Nara Shikaku and the Root representative who had been waiting for him.
“Pass down the order. ANBU and Root are to activate the highest authority of the ‘Skynet’ Plan.”
Chiya’s voice was calm and distant.
His gaze seemed to pass through the roof and look toward the endless starry sky and the vast depths of the earth.
“The search range will cover the entire ninja world, including all abnormal spaces that may connect to or overlap with the ninja world.”
“Target everything containing special energy or abnormal rules, as well as locations, objects, and even living beings that seriously contradict known history and legends, except for the nine known Tailed Beasts.”
“Whether they are natural wonders, ancient ruins, or… abnormal objects suspected to have come from beyond the heavens, beneath the earth, or even other space times, record everything, evaluate its energy level, and assess its potential risks.”
He paused.
His fingers tapped the desk with a firm rhythm, as though establishing a new law for this era.
“The Ninja World Federation has entered its final stage.”
“But the limits of our power should not end here.”
“Before the next ‘accident’ arrives, we must gain control over everything that remains ‘unknown’.”
“Remember, this is not a request. It is an order. Go.”
The office once again fell silent.
Through Konoha’s efficient and powerful war machine, Chiya’s order quickly spread to every corner of the world.
