The battle between the three Admirals and Kaido’s Beast Pirates raged on for several days. With more and more pirates gathering, Garp began to feel the pressure. He alone couldn’t deter all of them.
Purupurupuru!
Garp called Sengoku. The situation was not looking good. Whether to retreat or continue fighting Kaido was up to Sengoku. After all, he was the Fleet Admiral. It was his call to make. Garp wasn’t going to get involved, he just had to carry out his orders.
“Sengoku, most of the New World pirates have gathered here. What’s your plan?” Garp asked directly.
“All the pirates of the New World have gathered there?” Sengoku’s expression was grim.
“Not all of them, but it’s close. Shin Uzumaki and Whitebeard are here. Red-Haired Shanks is not.”
Garp explained the situation.
He was practically calling for reinforcements. But Sengoku had none to send. If he were to act, he would be the only one available.
There used to be Zephyr, but because Whitebeard Jr. had become a Warlord earlier than in the original story, Zephyr had already defected.
“They haven’t acted, have they?” Sengoku asked Garp.
As long as those pirates hadn’t acted, it was still manageable. If they had, then they would have to go to war with them.
“No, but facing all these pirates, I can’t hold on much longer.”
Although they hadn’t acted, with so many pirates watching, including Whitebeard and Shin Uzumaki, Garp had to be on his guard.
“Then try to hold on as long as you can.” After Sengoku finished, he hung up.
Garp was stunned. ‘You didn’t even tell me what to do. Did I not explain the situation clearly enough?’
“That old bastard Sengoku… is he trying to get me killed?” Garp couldn’t help but mutter to himself.
He suspected that old geezer was trying to get him killed. At this time, shouldn’t he say whether they should retreat or continue fighting?
“Perhaps he’s discussing it with Tsuru.” Garp guessed.

The battle had been going on for several days.
Kaido could still hold on, and so could the three All-Stars, but the other members of the Beast Pirates couldn’t.
Facing the elite Marines of the Headquarters, some pirates were no match. The well-equipped Marines could finish them off in an instant.
Although the Beast Pirates were strong, they couldn’t withstand the force of the Marines. Most of them were captured, and some were killed.
“Akainu, Kizaru… I will remember this.” Kaido’s anger surged.
“Oh? Are you trying to escape?” Kizaru probably saw through his intentions.
“RETREAT.”
Kaido roared.
After hearing his order, the three All-Stars immediately began to retreat. Kizaru alone couldn’t stop them.
As for Kaido himself, it was even easier for him to leave. He transformed into a dragon—grabbed a cloud—and flew into the distance.
“Kizaru! Stop them!” Akainu shouted to Kizaru.
If Kaido wanted to escape, only Kizaru had the ability to stop him.
As Akainu shouted to Kizaru, Kizaru had already acted. He instantly appeared in front of Kaido, then kicked down at Kaido with a Light Speed Kick.
This Light Speed Kick was aimed at Kaido’s head. Even Kaido’s massive body was kicked down by Kizaru.
“DIE!!!!”
Kaido spat out a dragon flame, attacking Kizaru.
Kizaru was not flustered. After elementalizing, he was immune to Kaido’s attack, rendering it ineffective.
“Angry now? So scary, so scary…”
He said “so scary” twice, but it didn’t sound like he was really scared. It was more like he was teasing Kaido.
Kizaru was quite bold, but he also had his own capital. His Glint-Glint Fruit was very strong and had a great advantage. It was difficult for normal attacks to hit him—and his super-fast movement speed could make him invincible.
So it was because of this that Kizaru had developed his personality. He did rely on his fruit a bit too much.
Kaido had no time to entangle with Kizaru. He was not just facing Kizaru, but also Akainu.
If he were to face Kizaru alone, Kaido would make him pay, but facing two Admirals, even he couldn’t win.
They had been fighting for several days without a result, which already said everything.
If he continued to fight, he might be captured by the Marines. It was different now. If he was captured now—he would definitely be under the strictest guard.
Back then, he wasn’t nearly as powerful—he hadn’t even become one of the Four Emperors yet. So when the Marines captured him, they didn’t take him seriously enough, which is how he kept breaking out. But now? If they got their hands on him, multiple Admirals would be standing guard. There’s no way he’d slip away that easily.

Purupurupuru!
“Sorry, let’s pause for a moment.”
Kizaru’s Den Den Mushi suddenly rang. He was about to continue his fight with Kaido, but stopped mid-motion and pulled out the snail.
“Kizaru, let Kaido go.” Sengoku’s voice came.
“Let him go?” After hearing Sengoku’s order, Kizaru did not refuse. If it had been Akainu who was notified, he would most likely have disobeyed the order.
But Kizaru was very obedient. Besides, he would save effort if he could. He didn’t like to do extra work.
“Kizaru, what are you doing?”
Akainu roared at Kizaru. While he was on the phone, Kaido had already escaped.
“Sorry, it was the Fleet Admiral’s order to let him go.” Kizaru said calmly, unfazed by Akainu’s furious questioning.
Besides, Akainu had no authority over him anyway.
Akainu wasn’t his superior, and honestly, Kizaru couldn’t care less what he thought. He didn’t answer to him.
“Hmph.” Akainu snorted in frustration. He didn’t bother chasing after Kaido—he knew damn well he’d never catch up.
His speed couldn’t match a flying dragon, no matter how massive Kaido looked. Size didn’t mean slow when it came to that beast.

Meanwhile, Aokiji had managed to capture Jack the Drought. King and Queen had slipped away, but Jack wasn’t so lucky. The massive mammoth now stood frozen solid in a block of ice, courtesy of Aokiji’s powers.
“This whole battle is pretty ironic when you think about it. Kaido started a war to rescue Jack, and now that it’s over, Jack’s right back in Marine custody.”
Shin couldn’t help but say, watching this scene. He even felt a sense of déjà vu of the Summit War.
In the Summit War, the Whitebeard Pirates had lost their captain, and countless crew members had died. And in the end, Ace, whom they wanted to save, still died.
