And so the two of them spent the entire day out shopping. It had truly been such a happy day – they had watched the performance right after leaving the inn, then walked around browsing shops non-stop, enjoyed a delicious meal at noon, and by now they had visited almost every store worth seeing in the whole village.

Most of the places they went to were really interesting, and they had bought quite a lot of things along the way. That meant once they got back to their room, they would have plenty to do and play with, so they wouldn’t feel bored or lonely at night.

Last night, they had returned to the hotel completely exhausted, too tired to even say much to each other, and had just fallen asleep holding one another. But now that their energy was fully restored, they were determined to make the most of these days and have as much fun as possible.

"I never realised that going shopping with girls is literally like a living hell for us guys! I honestly don’t understand how you do it – you seem to love walking around so much, and you never look tired at all!" Hiroshi said softly with a smile, his arms full of all the bags and items they had bought.

Harumiko pouted playfully and then giggled, replying, "You just don’t understand! Girls are simply born to love shopping. Actually, if we just walk around looking at things without buying anything, that actually makes us tired too. But if we can spend a whole day browsing and buying things we like, we just don’t feel the fatigue at all while we’re doing it! Though of course, once we get home, all the tiredness hits us at once because we’ve used up all our energy!"

"I see what you mean now. I really have to admire you girls for having this natural ability!" Hiroshi said, shaking his head with a helpless smile.

It had finally dawned on Hiroshi that women were the same everywhere, no matter what world you were in. They all possessed this incredible power to shop for hours on end without getting tired. If you let them, they would just keep going forever, but if you tried to stop them, they would get upset.

"It really is unbelievable. Women truly are an amazing and slightly terrifying species! To think they can walk for this long and buy so many things... I honestly don’t know how I would ever have managed to date anyone if I had stayed in my original world!"

"Just thinking about how much money shopping costs makes me worry I wouldn’t be able to afford it! But things are different here. In this world, I’m strong and capable, so earning money isn’t hard at all. I can just take on a mission whenever I want and get paid handsomely for it!" Hiroshi thought to himself as they walked along.

Harumiko, on the other hand, didn’t look tired in the slightest. She was happily looking at everything around them, and by now she felt like she knew the village quite well since they had walked through so many streets. Soon enough, they found themselves back on the same street where their inn was located.

"I bought quite a lot just now, and some of the things weren’t even for me – I got them for Hiroshi! He doesn’t know about them yet, so I’ll give them to him once we get back to the room," Harumiko thought to herself as she looked at him walking beside her.

As for Hiroshi, he was absolutely exhausted. All he wanted right now was to get back to their room, collapse onto the bed, and rest, maybe order some food to get his strength back.

"Okay, Hiroshi, we’ve been shopping all day long. Let’s hurry back and get some rest, you look like you’re about to reach your limit!" Harumiko said softly with a smile.

The moment he heard they could go back, Hiroshi’s spirits instantly lifted. He stood up straight, and suddenly it felt like all his energy had come rushing back.

Harumiko couldn’t help but laugh at how quickly he changed, and together they walked quickly back towards their accommodation.

"Finally! I can rest properly now. I feel so relieved just thinking about lying down. My feet are killing me, I’m definitely going to have to soak them well tonight!" Hiroshi said with a happy sigh as he sat down on the edge of the bed.

Harumiko just smiled gently and began to unpack and organise all the things they had bought that day.
