Chapter 2721 - 2721: Eternal Darkness Realm (3)
After the two women left, Yun Lintian continued his journey through the Eternal Darkness Realm, his movements silent and fluid, his senses heightened.
As he traveled, he encountered more and more creatures of darkness. They attacked him without hesitation. Yun Lintian dealt with them swiftly and efficiently, his movements precise and economical. He did not waste any energy, his attacks calculated to eliminate the creatures with minimal effort.
After a long period of travel, he sensed a group of figures approaching, their presence distinct from the chaotic energy of the creatures of darkness. They were organized, disciplined, their aura radiating a sense of authority.
As they drew closer, he could make out their forms, tall and imposing, clad in robes of obsidian black. They were members of the Darkness Palace, the servants of the God of Darkness, the guardians of the realm.
They stopped before him, their expressions stern, their eyes piercing. Their leader, a tall man with a cold and calculating gaze, stepped forward.
“Identify yourself,” he commanded, his voice sharp and authoritative. “What is your purpose in this realm?”
Yun Lintian met his gaze, his expression calm and composed. “I am a wandering cultivator,” he replied, his voice even and steady. “I have come to this realm seeking opportunity.”
The leader of the Darkness Palace members narrowed his eyes, his gaze scrutinizing Yun Lintian. “A wandering cultivator? In this realm? That is unlikely.”
He paused, his gaze shifting towards Yun Lintian’s aura, his dark energy. “You possess a powerful aura. And you move through the darkness with ease. You are not a common cultivator.”
Yun Lintian remained silent, his expression unchanged.
“We have been searching for someone,” the leader continued, his voice turning cold. “Someone who has entered this realm recently, someone who possesses great power.”
He paused, his gaze fixed on Yun Lintian. “You fit the description.”
Without hesitation, the leader’s eyes turned cold, and he raised his hand.
“Arrest him!” he commanded, his voice sharp and decisive. “He is a threat to the order of this realm!”
The members of the Darkness Palace moved swiftly, their movements coordinated, their attacks precise. They surrounded Yun Lintian, their dark energy swirling around them, their weapons glinting in the gloom.
Yun Lintian sighed inwardly. He had hoped to avoid a confrontation, but it seemed inevitable. He activated his aura, his dark energy surging, his power radiating outwards.
“Very well,” he said, his voice calm and steady. “If you insist, I will comply.”
In a flash, Yun Lintian moved with impossible speed, his figure blurring as he launched a counterattack. He moved like a ghost, his movements too fast for the Darkness Palace members to react.
He moved through the group, his hands flashing, his dark energy tearing through their defenses. The Darkness Palace members were elite warriors, trained in the arts of darkness, but they were no match for Yun Lintian’s power. He moved among them like a predator among sheep.
Puff! Puff! Puff!
One by one, they fell, their bodies collapsing to the ground, their dark energy dissipating into the gloom. Yun Lintian’s movements were precise, his attacks efficient. He did not waste any energy, his focus solely on eliminating the threat.
The leader of the Darkness Palace members watched in horror as his subordinates were eliminated, their strength proving useless against Yun Lintian’s overwhelming power. He tried to rally his remaining warriors, but it was too late. Yun Lintian was upon him, his eyes cold and unwavering.
“You…”
BANG!
The leader tried to defend himself, but his attacks were easily deflected. Yun Lintian’s hand flashed, and a surge of dark energy struck the leader, sending him reeling.
Before the leader could recover, Yun Lintian’s hand reached out, his fingers touching the leader’s forehead. A surge of dark energy flowed into the leader’s mind, probing his memories, searching for information.
Yun Lintian’s mind was filled with images, fragments of the leader’s life, his experiences, his knowledge. He saw the leader’s loyalty to the God of Darkness, his dedication to the Darkness Palace, his fear of the growing chaos that threatened the realm.
He also saw the leader’s memories of the search for the powerful cultivator, the one who had disrupted the order of the realm.
“So,” he muttered to himself, his voice low, “they are indeed looking for me.”
“Mu Ren?” Yun Lintian suddenly discovered a piece of information. The one who gave the order was Mu Ren, and this person seemed to hold a high position in the Darkness Palace.
Without thinking further, Yun Lintian unleashed a surge of dark energy, ending the leader’s life.
He then waved his hand, and all the bodies reduced to nothingness directly.
“It seems we need to be a little cautious,” Yun Lintian spoke to himself.
Through the memories of the leader, the Darkness Palace was extremely huge. There were a few True Gods among the ranks, and each one of them could be considered peak-level True Gods. Although Yun Lintian was confident in his strength, it would be troublesome for him to deal with a bunch of peak True Gods at once.
Furthermore, Yun Lintian believed that the God of Darkness must have noticed his presence the moment he showed up in the Darkness Palace. Once he regarded Yun Lintian as a threat, Yun Lintian would be in a dangerous position, surrounded by top powerhouses.
Yun Lintian thought for a moment and quickly concealed himself, altering his appearance to be similar to the leader named Zhang Hu.
He looked at Qingqing and Linlin and said, “You two must stay quiet. I will conceal your bodies.”
“Understood,” Linlin nodded gently.
Without hesitation, Yun Lintian channeled his divine energy and concealed Qingqing and Linlin. If an outsider looked over, he would see nothing on Yun Lintian’s shoulders.
After taking care of everything, Yun Lintian immediately set off towards the Darkness Palace.

On another side of the Eternal Darkness Realm, a scene of playful chaos unfolded. Unlike the oppressive gloom that enveloped most of the realm, this area was filled with a strange, almost whimsical energy.
A young woman, dressed in a flowing white robe, her long black hair dancing in the dark breeze, moved with an almost ethereal grace. Her dark blue eyes sparkled with amusement as she wielded a long, slender sword, its edge shimmering with a faint, silver light.
Around her swirled creatures of darkness, their shadowy forms contorting and shifting, their eyes glowing with malevolent intent. But instead of fear, the young woman radiated an air of playful dominance.
“Come, little shadows,” she chirped, her voice light and teasing. “Don’t be shy! Let’s play!”
