Mystic Eyes: My Eyes Steal the Laws of Cultivation

Chapter 277: Blood Tracking

Chapter 277: Blood Tracking

The wind cut through the sky as six figures advanced at high speed along the borders of the Blood Court’s territory.

Kyrian led the group. Arcon moved like an arrow, his wings slicing through the air with precision. Right behind, the five followed, mounted on their Crimson War Ravens, maintaining a tight formation.

During the first day of travel, there was almost no conversation. The silence was not uncomfortable. They were focused.

At one point, Bai Zhu took out the scroll and tossed it to the center of the group.

"Let’s review."

Kai grabbed it first, his eyes scanning the information quickly. Then he passed it to Yan Ling, then Li Fen, and finally it reached Mei Li.

All of them now knew exactly who they were dealing with.

The Luo Family. A small force, but far from weak.

The leader, Luo Zhenshan. He was at the peak of the Core Formation Realm. A dangerous opponent for any ordinary cultivator.

Below him was Luo Fang, his eldest son. At the 7° stage of Core Formation. Then, Luo Mei, his eldest daughter. At the 6° stage of the Core Formation Realm. And Luo Jianguo, Luo Zhenshan’s brother. At the 5° stage, and the one directly responsible for the massacre of the Court’s disciples.

These were the strongest of the family.

Besides them, there were five more elite cultivators. They were not family by blood but had sworn loyalty. Survivors of other destroyed houses. Cultivations between the second and fourth stages of Core Formation.

Kai let out a small sigh.

"They’re not weak."

"But not impossible either." Li Fen added.

Bai Zhu smiled and pointed his chin toward Kyrian.

"With him? It’s just another day of work."

Kyrian did not respond. But he did not disagree either. For him, that really was not a big problem. It would be troublesome. But not difficult.

...

The days passed as they crossed the boundaries of the territory.

The landscapes began to change. The mountains became lower. The vegetation is more irregular.

They had entered the Minor Domains. A perfect place for families like the Luo to thrive.

After a few more days of travel, they arrived.

The hill was visible from a distance. At the top, there was a castle. Or at least what should have been.

When they approached, they already knew.

Silence. No guards. No presence. No movement.

They landed. Kyrian dismounted first. His eyes swept the environment. Gates open. No signs of recent battle. But also no signs of life.

"They ran." Said Kai.

Yan Ling crossed her arms.

"It was obvious. They know the mistake they made."

Bai Zhu let out an irritated sigh.

"Cowards."

Kyrian remained silent for a few seconds. Then he spoke.

"Who has the scroll?"

"Me." Mei Li answered immediately.

Kyrian nodded.

"Start the blood tracking."

Without hesitation, Mei Li took the scroll from her spatial ring. She opened it carefully and placed it on the ground. She knelt. Took a deep breath. Then released her Qi.

A dense energy, with a deep red tone, began to flow from her body and connect to the scroll. At the lower end, there was a stain. Dried blood. Almost imperceptible.

The moment Mei Li’s Qi touched it, the blood reacted. It trembled as if it were still alive.

The others watched in silence. The air grew heavier.

Mei Li closed her eyes. Her consciousness sank into that connection. She followed the trail. Felt the direction. Felt the distance. Felt the target.

A minute passed. Then, she opened her eyes and smiled.

"I found them."

She stood up quickly.

"Let’s go."

Without wasting time, they all mounted again. Arcon let out a low cry. The ravens spread their wings. Then they shot forward.

...

The journey continued. Fast. Direct. Without detours.

Mei Li guided the path with absolute precision. The blood on the scroll pulsed slightly, like a living compass.

The only survivor of the Luo family’s attack on the Court’s disciples had done more than escape. He had ensured the death of his enemies. He had obtained a drop of blood from his opponents.

And with the techniques of the Blood Court, tracking someone through blood was not that difficult.

...

Another day and a half. Until they finally arrived.

The terrain changed again. Two tall hills. And between them, a narrow ravine. Natural. Perfect for hiding. Terrible for escaping.

They landed at the top of one of the hills. The wind was stronger there.

Mei Li closed her eyes for an instant. Confirming. Then she nodded.

"They are inside."

Li Fen looked down.

"And there’s no exit."

Kai crossed his arms.

"They’re cornered."

Mei Li smiled slightly.

"Fools."

Bai Zhu then looked at Kyrian.

"What’s the plan?"

Kyrian was observing the ravine. His eyes analyzed every detail. Every shadow. Every possible ambush.

Then he spoke.

"They fled days ago. But they did not get far. Which means they do not have flying beasts. And they chose a place with no exit."

Silence.

"We go in head-on. They have nowhere to run."

Bai Zhu smiled.

"My kind of plan."

Kyrian continued.

"I will handle Luo Zhenshan. And Luo Fang."

Kai nodded.

"Then the rest is on us."

Yan Ling took a deep breath. Li Fen cracked his fingers. Mei Li simply watched with a smile.

Kyrian closed his eyes.

For an instant, the world disappeared. Darkness. Absolute silence. But he was not lost. He knew exactly where to go.

At the center of that void, there was something. A glow. Purple. A small lightning. Charged with something far deeper. Intent.

Kyrian moved forward. Without hesitation. Without fear. And touched it.

...

When he opened his eyes again, they had changed.

The gray disappeared. The flame vanished. In its place, a deep purple. And within, two lightning-shaped pupils.

Bai Zhu was the first to notice. He said nothing. But he felt it. A chill ran down his spine.

Kai frowned. Yan Ling pressed her lips together. Li Fen stepped back half a step without noticing.

Mei Li watched in silence.

That presence was different. Heavier. More dangerous. More real.

Kyrian was now more frightening than he had been in the Coliseum.

But he did not explain. He did not need to. He simply took a step forward and said calmly.

"Let’s go."

Then he descended toward the ravine. Without looking back.

The other five looked at each other for an instant. And followed.
