A Mid-Level Spirit Grade pill!

The Primordial Pill was completely crushed before Wen Qingye’s Mid-Level Spirit Grade pill. The two pills weren’t even in the same league.

Who won and who lost was clear at a glance.

At this moment, the people who had been subtly mocking Wen Qingye all looked anything but calm. This was especially true for Mingkong, whose face had turned ashen.

Wen Qingye looked young, and he was confident and arrogant, but he had the strength to back up his confidence.

A person’s confidence comes from their experience.

Not far away, Yum Tianyang said in astonishment, “Wen Qingye actually managed to refine a Mid-Level Spirit Grade pill?”

Tangg Guanzhong gave Wen Qingye a deep look and said, “It’s truly unbelievable. This kid… he’s no simple character.”

“Zhilin, you have a remarkable eye,” Ji Hai said to Zhang Zhilin, giving him a thumbs-up. The amazement in his voice was impossible to hide.

Zhang Zhilin was also filled with astonishment. He then looked at Wen Qingye with gratification. Of all his disciples, Wen Qingye was the most remarkable. He had always believed in Wen Qingye, and Wen Qingye had never let him down.

“Kid, I’ll take this pill. As for our deal, I won’t go back on my word. I’m leaving now.”

After getting the pill, Jin the Third left impatiently.

Watching Jin the Third snatch the pill and hurry away, the black-clothed person finally snapped out of their shock. They looked at Wen Qingye and thought to themself, ‘This kid can refine a Spirit-Grade Pill in his twenties. What will he be capable of in another ten years? His future is limitless!’

Their eyes gleamed, as if they had just spotted a priceless treasure.

Wen Qingye, naturally unaware of what the person in black was thinking, looked at Chuu Qi and asked, “In that case, can Martial Uncle Chuu Guang return to Danxuan Peak?”

Hearing Wen Qingye’s words, Chuu Qi glanced at the nervous Chuu Guang beside him and waved his hand in resignation. “I can’t refine a pill like yours. I concede. Let him return to Danxuan Peak as a Steward.”

“I… I…”

Hearing Chuu Qi’s words, Chuu Guang became so emotional he was incoherent. “Qi, back then, I…”

Chuu Qi was silent for a long moment before saying, “Forget it. Let’s not bring up the past. Let bygones be bygones. I won’t make things difficult for you anymore.”

Chuu Guang nodded emphatically, but just as he was about to speak, he was cut off by a voice.

“Born from the same root, why the haste to torment each other?”

At that moment, the black-clothed person who had been standing in the distance slowly walked over.

Yum Tianyang watched the black-clothed person and couldn’t help but frown. “Who is this person? Their strength is considerable. They don’t seem like a nobody. They must be an expert ranked in the top fifty of the Immortal Ascension List.”

Tangg Guanzhong nodded. “This person… I have a bad feeling about them. They might be up to something. Let’s go take a look.”

After speaking, the two descended toward the plaza of Danxuan Peak.

Chuu Qi looked at the person and sneered, “This is a matter between my brother and me. It doesn’t seem to concern you.”

The black-clothed person didn’t get angry, instead chuckling lightly. “I’m not interfering. I’m merely offering a reminder.”

Chuu Qi’s eyes narrowed slightly. “We don’t need that either. You should just remind yourself, lest you be deceived and toyed with again.”

“Chuu Qi, what did you say!?”

Suddenly, the black-clothed person’s voice became extremely shrill. That voice revealed everything—the person in black was actually a woman.

When Chuu Guang heard that voice, even his outstretched finger began to tremble. “You… You are?”

He was incredibly agitated, even more so than when Chuu Qi had just allowed him to return to Danxuan Peak.

Now, a new question arose in everyone’s minds. Who on earth was this person?

“Chuu Guang, I didn’t expect that after all these years, you’d still recognize me just by my voice.” The black-clothed person slowly lifted their hood.

A woman with delicate features appeared before them. Her eyes were bright and captivating, and her expression held an air of mature charm. While not devastatingly beautiful, her entire being exuded a unique charisma.

Seeing the woman, Chuu Guang exclaimed, “Nan Xiang!”

Nan Xiang!?

Chuu Guang’s cry instantly set off a tidal wave of shock. Everyone present was stunned into silence, and all eyes fixed unblinkingly on the woman.

“The Valley Master of Thousand Nether Valley!?”

“So this woman is the Valley Master of Thousand Nether Valley, Nan Xiang—said to be more delicate than a flower, with a heart more ruthless than a sword.”

“Wait, the Master of Thousand Nether Valley… with such a prominent status, the leader of a whole sect, why would she appear alone in our Celestial Profound Sect?”

“What on earth is she here for…?”

Yum Tianyang and Tangg Guanzhong exchanged a look, each seeing the shock and astonishment in the other’s eyes.

Once everyone learned the woman’s identity, they all stared in stunned silence at her beautiful figure. Their hearts felt as if they were being battered by surging tides, one wave after another, endlessly churning.

Thousand Nether Valley was a Sect in no way inferior to their own Celestial Profound Sect. For its Valley Master to be standing before them now—how could they not be astonished?

‘The Master of Thousand Nether Valley?’ Wen Qingye also looked over, a trace of curiosity in his eyes. ‘What is she doing at the Celestial Profound Sect? Could it be…?’

His gaze snapped toward Chuu Qi. Thinking of Chuu Guang and Chuu Qi’s original identities, he had a sudden realization. ‘So that’s how it is.’

Yue Mingzhu watched Nan Xiang, her eyelid twitching. A sharp glint flashed through her eyes before vanishing. She then resumed standing by Wen Qingye’s side as if nothing had happened.

Chuu Guang looked at Nan Xiang before him, his voice trembling with emotion. “So many years… I don’t know how many years it’s been since I last saw you. You’re still as beautiful and captivating as you were back then, while I have grown old and decrepit. Ah…”

Nan Xiang smiled sweetly and said, “A pretty face is just a shell. Why care so much about it?”

“Yes, yes,” Chuu Guang nodded, forcing down his excitement. He gazed at Nan Xiang’s fair face and asked, “So, all these years… have you been well?”

A thread of sorrow surfaced in Nan Xiang’s expression, gone in a flash. Then she said faintly, “It’s been the same as always.”

Seeing this, Chuu Guang couldn’t help but frown and ask, “What’s wrong?”

Nan Xiang glanced around and then said, “Let’s find somewhere else to catch up.”

Chuu Guang nodded. “Good, good. Let’s find somewhere else to catch up.”

But Chuu Qi, at his side, wouldn’t have it. He jumped forward, shaking his head. “No. She is not welcome on my Danxuan Peak.”

Chuu Guang quickly said, “Qi, it’s been so many years. Why are you still holding a grudge?”

Chuu Qi said coldly, “It’s not about holding a grudge. She is simply not welcome on Danxuan Peak. Anyone from Thousand Nether Valley can come, but not her.”

The surrounding crowd looked at one another in confusion. They didn’t know what had happened back then, or why Chuu Qi rejected Nan Xiang so strongly while Chuu Guang’s attitude was so welcoming.

Suddenly, a voice reached everyone’s ears.

“The Valley Master of Thousand Nether Valley has come from afar. Forgive us for not giving you a proper welcome!”

Yum Tianyang and Tangg Guanzhong slowly descended to Chuu Qi’s side. The words had come from Tangg Guanzhong.
