My Youth Began With Him

Chapter 4089 - A Nightmare (9)

Chapter 4089: A Nightmare (9)

Su Yu seemed to be dreaming, and the dream was very long.

Magically, he dreamed he married Huo Mian and there was no Qin Chu in this world.

He dreamed of returning to his house from work and saw Huo Mian cooking in the kitchen.

Wearing an apron, she looked like a little woman taking care of her family.

“Honey, you’re back.”

“Mian…” Su Yu was astonished.

“Silly, go wash your hands. Today I made your favorite—spicy boiled fish. Very spicy.”

Huo Mian pushed him to the sink and he turned on the tap numbly.

Hearing the water flowing from the tap, he felt dizzy.

“Hon, Mom told us to go to her house to have dinner tomorrow night. Grandpa came back from Jing City and he misses us.”

Huo Mian continued talking to him and called him “Hon”.

Su Yu felt incredulous.

“Mian… I…”

“What’s up, Hon…”

“We…” Su Yu pointed at her and then himself in puzzlement.

“Hon, you’re acting weird today. Did you have a problem in the company?” Huo Mian walked over to him and leaned on his chest; her warmth felt so real.

“No… Mian, I just want to ask… Are we married?”

“Haha. Hon, what’s wrong with you? We’ve been married for more than half a year now… What? Do you have another woman and regret marrying me?” Huo Mian pouted.

“No, no. I’d never do that.”

“I don’t think so. If you dare to divorce me, I’ll get half of your fortune and your parents and grandpa will beat you senseless.” Huo Mian smiled happily.

Seeing her smiling eyes, Su Yu’s heart flipped.

“Mian… I… had a dream in which you and I were only good friends… We were friends for the rest of our lives… You married a man named Qin Chu and had twins with him; their names were Pudding and Little Bean…” Su Yu couldn’t stop himself.

“Haha. Hon, you have a great imagination. But it’s impossible… I met you right after I graduated from university and went to work. You pursued me and I married you in less than half a year… Our wedding got onto the headlines of the front page… We’ve been married for half a year now. I’m very happy… In the hospital, everyone is envious of me for having such a good husband.”

“Hospital… Mian, are you still working at South Side?”

“What South District? I’m a doctor in the OB/GYN department in the First Hospital. Hon, you’re acting weird today. What’s going on?”

Huo Mian walked over in puzzlement and touched his forehead, murmuring, “You don’t have a fever… What’s wrong with you?”

Su Yu caught her hand. “Mian, I’m not dreaming? We’ve… been married for half a year?”

“Maybe you can slap yourself and see what’ll happen,” Huo Mian said and shook with laughter.

Su Yu froze…

Then the scene changed, and he saw Huo Mian falling to the ground slowly.

“Mian…”

He saw blood spread out under her; there was so much blood that it terrified him.

“Su Yu… I think I’m dying…” Huo Mian said weakly.

“Hang on… Mian… You’ll be fine. Pudding and Little Bean are waiting for you to go home.”

Su Yu wept as Huo Mian closed her eyes in his arms.

“Mian… Don’t.”

Su Yu yelled and woke up from his dream finally. Then he froze.

Where was this place? Where on earth was he?
