“So these are the kids of that b*tch Huo Mian… They look just as pathetic as their mother.” Huo Siyi glared coldly at the twins.

“Boss, should we just kill them now?” One of his subordinates slid a finger across his throat.

“Are you a pig? If we kill them, how are we going to get ransom money?” Huo Siyi glared at his subordinate.

“What should we do with these two kids?”

“Lock them in the warehouse. Feed them water and food. I’ll think about what to say before I call Huo Mian. Ha…” Huo Siyi said. Then, he turned around and walked away with evil laughter.

The twins woke up from the drugs soon after Huo Siyi left.

“Where is this place?” Little Bean opened her eyes, looking around, dumbstricken.

Pudding also woke up, climbing up dizzily.

“I think we were kidnapped…” Pudding started to recall what had happened in the airport washroom. They had heard some loud shuffling noises before noticing a weird smelling smoke. That’s all they remembered.

“Kidnapping… Damn it… Are we in a horror movie?” Little Bean didn’t expect themselves to be victims of a kidnapping.

“Calm down. Let me check where we are first.”

Pudding climbed up and realized they were in a cold warehouse.

She looked around the room to see only a small window up high and that she wasn’t tall enough to reach it.

“Sis, are we still in C City?”

“I’m not sure. Our phones and watches were all been taken away,” Pudding responded calmly.

“Darn… We’re doomed!” Little Bean was freaking out.

“Stay calm. If they can kidnap us right in front of our mommy and daddy, they must have planned ahead. They’re probably aiming for ransom money… Everyone knows our family is rich,” Pudding analyzed.

“There are tons of people that are rich. Why would they kidnap us? Is our luck just better than others?” Little Bean said in a sarcastic tone.

“Shh… You’re so noisy I can’t hear what is going on.”

Pudding went over to the door and slammed on it. “Is anyone there? Someone come. I’m hungry! I want food!”

In less than a minute, someone opened the door, just like how Pudding expected it to be.

An ape-like man with sneaky eyes and a sharp chin walked in. He looked at the twins and shouted, “What are you yelling about, Brat!”

“I’m hungry. I want food.”

“Haha. So you still are in the mood for food, eh? Do you even know where you are?” the man laughed.

“I don’t care where we are. You have to give us food. Otherwise, if we die from hunger, you won’t get your ransom money.”

“Oh! Do you know that there’s ransom money? Quite impressive.” The man was surprised since he didn’t expect that to come out of a three-year-old.

“Bring food and water here immediately!” Pudding demanded with an icy tone.

“I want teriyaki chicken,” Little Bean added.

“You want chicken? Where do you think you are at right now? A restaurant?” the man said in an irritated tone.

“Dahai, go bring two bento boxes over for these brats.”

The other man immediately followed orders and brought two bento boxes over. He then put them in front of the door.

“Who are you? Why did you kidnap us?” Pudding asked the man.

“Our boss wanted to kidnap you. We have nothing to do with it!”

“Who’s your boss? Do we know him?”

“Oh, you little brat want me to blabber out information, don’t you? You’re still too naïve… Don’t worry. You’ll soon find out. Let’s make your parents anxious for a bit longer so we can get better negotiating terms.”

The man slammed shut the door with evil laughter.

Pudding picked up the bento boxes and brought it over to Little Bean. “Little Bean, let’s eat first. We need the energy to escape when the opportunity comes.”
