My World Traveling System: The Harbinger of Death

Chapter 458 - Going Back To The Vampire Territory

-----

Frank had many plans, one of his priorities as of now was actually just waiting for his parents to come back to life, it has been a few weeks already since they were revived and they're still developing and training with these mysterious gods somewhere else.

It is honestly quite frustrating for Frank to not be able to communicate with these gods directly, but he feared that if he tried to interfere with them while training, that something bad could happen to his parents' souls. Such things as leaving their consciousness in that faraway place and end up as souls without minds was a possibility.

Due to this, Frank could only wait for things to go well, Yggdrasil had told him that these Gods had no bad intentions and that she was able to see what he could not see.

Although it was honestly quite frustrating for him, he wasn't able to do much and decided to trust Yggdrasil's words in this one.

His plans included being with Alexander a lot, but also going to another world to strengthen himself (which might include using the Necropolis Key that apparently leads to another Universe entirely), passing some time with the Gods in Terra, recruiting the Vampires and Werewolves of Tokyo, and unifying them into the Monk Clan, and more…

However, he couldn't simply let everything behind here and just run into another world to train. He wanted to first assess the things left behind in Tokyo. He was a man that disliked leaving things undone a lot, so he always went around making sure there wasn't any plot holes lying around in front of him which were yet to be resolved.

And one of such plot holes, in a way, was speaking once more with Erika, a werewolf girl who was quite cute which he met briefly for only about a week, but which he still remembers quite well… After all, she had a strong obsession for his scent and seemed quite lewd for her age. He does remembers that she was also a bit creepy. After all, she had this very predatory glare in her eyes.

Although now that Frank had become a new man, he wanted to see if he could convince her and his father to join his clan… And he hoped that there wouldn't be any conflicts if possible. But werewolves were known for being battle addicts and warmongers.

Nonetheless, he wanted to first go to the Vampires, met Clementine and Harumi again, which he had already made a bond with, and talk with them first.

If he manages to convince them and use their help alongside his own clans help, the werewolves will be more likely to join, but that's counting if the Vampires will be completely willing…

Frank did heard many times that the Vampires of Tokyo had long ago changed their ways, they were peaceful and liked modern society a lot. They got their blood out of blood banks which they run (where they also donate part of this blood to actual hospitals too), and they are trying to mix themselves into various times of investments to enlarge their capital. After all they are the superpower behind Tokyo in terms of financial power, and are the true puppet masters behind most of Tokyo's economy, and perhaps a large chunk of Japan too.

Due to their peaceful nature, it is very unlikely that they will get angry and attack, after all, the ones that are dangerous and are still being hunted are outcasts, Vampires that had acquired this power by illegally drinking their blood from black market sources and becoming bandits and street thugs, these are usually being hunted down by both Vampires, Werewolves, and Monks, but they are so sporadic that they often lay low for a while to resurface once more and wreak havoc.

After all, Harumi was the daughter of one of these monstrous individuals, a Blood Thrall, which are humans with vampire bloodlines but that were badly awakened and became savage and aggressive, and highly bloodthirsty individuals. She was saved by her mother when she slain her original group that had taken the life of many innocent citizens.

The Vampires themselves were not always good, but with the modern society slowly emerging and being built by mortals, alongside industrialization, they were forced to calm themselves down and pressured by the Monk Clan and some of the Shoguns of Japan too. Now, they are often considered a Righteous Faction, although they consider themselves as True Neutral, only interested in making profits, building their empire, and thriving as a race in Japan, which was the only desire of Clementine's father, the ancient Elder Vampire Progenitor of Europe.

But with the new threat of the Chaos Gate, Frank believes that they cannot simply keep themselves as True Neutral forever, they need to join them to fight back against this threat that might endanger their entire business empire…

Frank had already gathered with his group, which included Kamei, Alexander, Gwendolyn, Axitl, Orb, Clishya, Cathyl, Vheslia, Annabelle, Hilvera, Asterion, Matsuo, Kaguya, and Sadako.

Ruby, the other dragons, Selcis, Vritra, and the tamed monsters and Undead were left guarding the Monk Clan territory. They were mostly all at Demigod Level if not even higher, so they were more than capable of guarding them even from a sudden Chaos Gate attack.

With all of this prepared, the large group walked slowly towards the Vampire territory, as Frank heard some explanations from Kaguya about the Vampire Clan. Of course, a soundproof magic barrier was made around them so it wouldn't be heard what they spoke about.

"How do they even recruit new members if they don't hunt anymore? And if they're so secret, how can someone approach them to become a Vampire?" wondered Frank.

"Oh, people do show there from time to time, the Underground does know about them, and only people from there are allowed to enter their Clan. And only after a very rigorous test where they test these people's business and fighting capabilities… At minimum, they must be B-Rank in superhuman levels of power…" said Kaguya.

"I see…"

It was less complex than Frank thought…
