My women are my cultivation

Chapter 35: Private room

Zhao Wen broke the contact of their mouths and put a hand flat on his chest. Only enough space to speak while both of them were still standing in the sealed quiet of the ledger hall.

"Lin Tian Listen before this goes further."Her ticklish voice echoed in the room.

Lin Tian waited obediently, the residual between them hummed under her palm.

"I practice Alluring Yin art, Not the cheap Charm juniors use to cloud a boy’s eyes for a night. Proper circulation you see. It pulls Yang along paths most orthodox manuals never write down, and when it runs without a partner who can match the pull, the weaker side empties." She said voice low and even again.

After a brief pause she added,

" In the worst cases the mind follows the qi out and does not come back clean."

She held his eyes. The closed collar of her outer robe did nothing to hide the full weight of her chest.

"I am Early Core Formation To be precise Peak of the early stage. You are a Mid Foundation. That gap is not small. If I lose control of the art or if the residual becomes a full dual circulation and my Yin decides to take more than you can give you will not walk out of this hall the same."

You may not be able to cultivate for a season"

"I haven’t used it to finish with someone for a very long time"

Lin Tian understood.

This was the information someone gave before they accepted a dual!

Realm, art, risk laid plain so that whatever happened after could not be called ignorance.

Elder Zhao Wen was telling him her stage and the shape of the damage the way a partner stated the exchange before the clothes came open.

"fine, Early Core Formation, alluring Yin. If you lose control I may leave crippled. okay"

Zhao Wen searched his face for the flinch most Mid Foundation outers would have shown. She did not find it. Heat climbed higher under her collar.

He heard the risk and did not step toward the door, he is Mid Foundation and steady under my hand.

My body is already answering a residual that started with sorted robes and a Charm I should never have tested, if I continue I am choosing this, not being surprised by it.

"Then you accept the terms."She asked,

"I accept them."

"If I tell you to stop, you’ll stop. If I tell you to leave, you’ll leave. No residual argument and no tomorrow."

"Well, If you tell me."

Her mouth twitched, the ghost of the laugh from earlier, still startled at itself.

She took his wrist. The same wrist she had slapped. This time the grip was not a warning. It was a lead.

---

The side passage behind the ledger hall was narrower than the public path. A single formation lamp burned low along the wall, and under its light the air changed.

Fragrance first.. Sandalwood cut with a darker floral note, osmanthus, or something close to it settled into the fabric of the place the way a woman’s scent settled into her sleeves after years of wearing the same oil at her pulse points.

Warm, Quietly expensive in a way the east slope never smelled.

Lin Tian’s dual core turned once under the lock. The residual between them thickened as if the scent itself were part of her Yin, an invitation written in oil and wood instead of words.

Zhao Wen did not look back. She walked steady, unhurried and the outer robe moved over the full line of her hips with each step.

The formation lamps threw her shadow long on the narrow wall. At the end of the passage she pressed her palm to a sealed door. The formation recognized her. The seal opened without a sound.

Her private room sat beyond it.

A single chamber large enough that the ledger hall felt small behind them. Dark wood polished by years of care. A low table with a closed tea set.

Screens painted with mountain mist in pale ink. And against the far wall, a bed that belonged to someone who had held rank long enough to stop apologizing for comfort: wide, layered in deep red and ink-black silk, the kind of bedding that caught lamp light and held it.

Pillows stacked at the head. A canopy frame without the canopy, only carved posts that threw long shadows.

The fragrance was stronger here, as if the oil had lived in the wood and the fabric for years, soaking into every quiet night she had spent alone above the hall where she counted other people’s points.

Lin Tian stopped just inside the threshold.

This was not a place an outer disciple entered. It felt like walking into the private half of a woman who issued orders in public, and undressed in rooms the mountains was not invited to see.

Zhao Wen sealed the door behind them. The formation settled with a soft click that sounded final.

No windows onto the slope only the low lamps and the wide bed, the residual humming harder now that there was nowhere left to pretend.

She turned to face him.

In this light the practical coil of her hair looked softer.

A woman who had just told him he might leave crippled and had still brought him past every seal into the room where she slept.

"You may still walk out," she said evenly,"The door opens from this side for you until I say otherwise."

"Uh, I am not walking out."

I’ll be eating good for some days...I mean some hours.

Something in her shoulders eased a fraction.

She reached up and drew the pin from her hair.

The practical coil loosened. Dark hair fell in a heavy sheet over her back and shoulders, and the fragrance rose with it Cold tea and that darker floral note, warm from her scalp and the skin of her neck.

The practical elder looked, for a breath, like a woman who had decided the quiet years could end in a sealed room, with a mixed-root outer who asked about tea while he put his hands on her.

Lin Tian’s hand found her waist over the robe. Full curve under his palm. The sash’s edge. The heat of her body through the cloth.

She did not slap it away this time. She stood inside the touch and let him feel the shape of her while the residual pulled taut between them.

Zhao Wen’s fingers curled in the front of his outer robe. She looked at his face.

At the steady way he stood under Early Core Formation pressure without shaking.

Then she was the one who closed the last of the distance she pressed her lips to his, slow at first, tasting, deciding, the practical woman choosing instead of being chosen.

When he answered she opened for him with a sound that stayed in her throat.

Taste of tea and heat. Full breasts soft against his chest through both layers of cloth. The residual thickened until it felt less like leftover Charm and more like the start of a dual circulation.

She broke it only far enough to breathe against his mouth. A single strand of dark hair had fallen across her cheek and she did not fix it.

"The desk is for ledgers, this room is not." Her voice had roughened at the edges..

"If we are going to test whether your Mid Foundation can stand under my Yin, we’ll start here.

Clothes stay on until I say otherwise. You won’t take. If the art runs too hard and you cannot match it, you say so, before your meridians crack. Clear?"

"Clear."Lin Tian nodded in agreement.

She stepped backward until the backs of her legs met the edge of the silk, drawing him with her by the grip on his robe.

The bed took their weight without a sound. Layered red and black whispered under her.

Dark hair spread across the ink-black pillow. Lin Tian braced above her on one forearm, the other hand still at her waist over the cloth, and Zhao Wen pulled his mouth back down to hers....

She kissed him again, deeper, her tongue against his, while her thigh shifted between his legs over the silk.

His mouth left hers for the line of her jaw. The skin of her throat was warm under the closed collar.

He opened against it and bit, hard enough that her breath punched out and her hips shifted once under him.

Her fingers tightened in his hair.

"Careful..."

He bit again, a fraction lower, where her pulse hammered under the fabric.

Alluring Yin stirred under her skin a first real pull, proper binding waking whether she ordered it to or not and his Mid Foundation meridians took it without cracking.

The dual core drank what she leaked and asked for more.

His hand slid up from her waist over the robe and closed over the full shape of one breast through the cloth, soft, heavy, the peak of a big nipple already tight under the fabric.

His hand sink in that soft flesh.

He squeezed once, slow. She arched into the grip, a small involuntary roll of her body against his, and the heat between her legs was damp through every layer where his thigh pressed.

Zhao Wen’s other hand found the back of his neck.

She hooked a thigh over his hip through the robe and dragged him down harder against her, the friction blunt and deliberate.

She lifted her head and took his lower lip, the practical elder kissing an outer disciple like he belonged entirely to her.

Zhao Wen’s voice against his ear, rough and low, the last practical order.

"Not yet. wait a little"
