My Weekly Refreshing Mentor Spirit
Chapter 885 - 487: Welcome Home, Yushua
Xue Dili always felt that perhaps it was his impulsive awakening of Fuge that caused them to be blocked at the entrance.
Otherwise, it wouldn’t be such a coincidence; previously awakening many others didn’t lead to them being blocked.
But none of that matters anymore. After tidying himself up, Xue Dili immediately got up, ready to explore the surroundings.
"Where is this place?" Xue Dili asked.
After all, it was the Great Sage who opened the Teleportation Gate, so Xue Dili had no idea where this was. The starry sky here looked utterly unfamiliar to him.
Even the fact that there was no air here.
Although Xue Dili had already evolved into an ultimate being that could survive without air, the Blood of Hell even bestowed upon him the strength to traverse through Subspace with his body alone. It could be said that Xue Dili was now nothing less than an immortal Sinful Creature.
Just like the bizarre creature he encountered earlier, with a body of a deer and a head of hands.
Ultimately, they’re all adversaries with a shared origin.
Because this planet lacks even an atmosphere, Xue Dili could directly see the pure starry sky, and the colossal ring of light on this planet.
"This planet has quite a beautiful star ring. I even feel like planting a Divine Tree here, but unfortunately, the only one I have left has been twisted by the Lord of Mist." Xue Dili sighed.
If the Divine Tree hadn’t been activated to absorb the Demon Element instinctively, it would have been a harmless World Tree, a robust Life Force thriving on a Dead Star, able to gather atmosphere and water.
Such as my second daughter, Xue Lingshu. She is in this state now, with one peculiarity—she doesn’t have the instinct to absorb Spiritual Particles but has the instinct to eat bugs.
When potted inside the house, all mosquitoes and flies are gone, even cockroaches, and every time we go out for barbecue, the youngest always orders grilled insects.
Nobody else can stomach it, showing difficulty in their faces. Only the youngest savors them, often saying, "How could you not eat something so delicious?"
The conversation drifted slightly; Xue Dili was merely amazed at the environment here and this beautiful star ring.
Even from here, I could see the small asteroids and ice blocks floating among the star rings. Wait, ice blocks? Doesn’t that prove this planet should have water?
Just as Xue Dili was wondering, the Great Sage spoke, "This planet is known as the ’Red Moon’ on my home world. It is the closest planet to my hometown."
Xue Dili: ...
Wait, this is the closest planet to the old thing’s hometown, and this planet’s star ring is filled with meteorites and ice blocks...
Even with his limited astronomical knowledge, Xue Dili, with at least a science background, quickly grasped the situation, feeling a pang of embarrassment. He seemed to have accidentally uttered some very Hellish words just now.
"Yes, you’re not mistaken. The stunning ring of this planet, the shattered meteorites and asteroids, are indeed fragments of my mother planet," the Great Sage said, utterly unfazed by Xue Dili’s previous comment, speaking straightforwardly.
Xue Dili: "..."
Looking at the ring here, Xue Dili pondered...
Never mind, since I’m here anyway...
Xue Dili rolled up his sleeves instantly; after all, he was already here.
Let’s just perform the Summoning of Heroic Spirits and bring out whatever can be summoned, Xue Dili thought.
Without needing the Great Sage to speak, the next moment, Xue Dili moved into action, and as he rose, the once desolate planet suddenly blossomed into a sea of flowers.
He leaped to the ring of this planet, viewing it from space. Perhaps due to the soil, it indeed appeared faint red, surrounded by a massive star ring that encircled it like a hula hoop.
Xue Dili arrived on a belt of meteorites on the star ring, and indeed found many meteorites discordant with their surroundings.
"The workload is a bit heavy, but it should be doable..." Xue Dili murmured, and the next moment, the Blood of Hell surged from his body, transforming into lively little blood deer that scattered, beginning their run around the star ring.
The deer’s hoof landed on the nearest dark, cold meteorite, and at the moment its tip touched the rock surface, "Boom!"
A splendid array of colors, incongruent with the surroundings, explosively spread from its hoof tip as the center, silently.
The hard rock turned into fertile soil, as crimson, bright yellow, soft purple, and pure white flowers erupted in bloom, vines twisted, and greenery bountifully thrived. This desolate little asteroid, in a fraction of a second, transformed into a floating, vibrant garden island.
The deer didn’t stay; it lightly leaped, traversing the void, heading to the next stubborn rock.
Thus, on this belt of meteors once marking the death of the Demon Star, flower after flower bloomed.
The trail of the deer’s run became a path full of miracles, adorning the land of death with a viridescent, planet-encircling garland.
And among the blooms, more and more Spiritual Particles gathered, gradually summoning forth the first "Demon" from within.
He seemed slightly dazed, constantly gazing at his hands and feeling his body.
He recalled that he should have been assimilated by the bugs in the end, but why, why could he now stand here intact, and the next moment, he beheld the scene here.
