My Undead Legion Kills God's

Chapter 144: Wind Sorcery.

Damien dispelled the Vestige and grabbed the undead Lich by the neck before flinging him in the direction of the Therizon. His logic was simple. If the undead Lich wouldn’t use its abilities for him, then it would definitely do so if it wanted to survive.

And Damien’s reasoning was spot on.

The moment the undead Lich collided with the Therizon, the creature’s enormous beak immediately pecked at it. The sheer difference in size made the attack look almost ridiculous, but the Lich’s black skeleton was sent clanking across the ground from the impact.

The Therizon continued pecking at it, each strike producing a loud clanking sound as its beak slammed against the Lich’s bones. Yet despite the difference in size and strength, the skeleton didn’t even crack. The undead Lich quickly began crawling back in Damien’s direction, apparently deciding that returning to its master was a better option than remaining in front of the enormous creature.

Unfortunately for it, the Therizon wouldn’t let it.

Every time the Lich tried to get away, the Therizon continued attacking it, forcing it to remain within its reach. The Lich endured the repeated strikes until it finally seemed to get fed up with the situation.

The faint purple runes covering its bones began to light up.

The strange glow spread across its skeletal body as the runes awakened once more. The Therizon continued to peck at it, seemingly unaware of what was happening, and one of its attacks struck the Lich again.

This time, however, something changed, the Therizon’s beak began to decay.

The white surface slowly darkened as the flesh and material around the affected area withered, the decay spreading from the point of contact. The Therizon immediately reacted to the strange change, its enormous body recoiling as the unnatural effect began eating away at its beak.

Andrea was shocked that it actually worked.

She had clearly expected the Lich’s ability to be useful, but watching it actually damage the Therizon like this was another matter entirely.

Damien, however, was already skipping over, clearly intending to enjoy his victory against the undead Lich.

While Andrea continued attacking the Therizon, Damien reached the undead Lich and helped it back onto its feet. The Lich didn’t seem particularly interested in the battle or in Damien’s attempts to get it involved, but Damien wasn’t going to give up that easily.

"What else can you do? What about wind spells? Or a fire blast?" Damien pointed at the Therizon. "You know what, you don’t have to say anything, just shoot everything you’ve got at the Therizon."

The undead Lich immediately smacked Damien’s hand away, which pissed him off.

"Hey, that’s no way to treat the guy that brought you back to life."

The undead Lich attempted to scramble away, but Damien once more grabbed it, this time using it as a shield as the Therizon suddenly struck at him with its talons.

The massive claws slammed into both of them with tremendous force, sending Damien and the undead Lich flying through the air. The Lich took the brunt of the attack, its skeletal body absorbing most of the impact while Damien remained relatively uninjured behind it.

Andrea’s fists were like a barrage, each strike chipping away at the already decayed beak of the Therizon. Every impact sent fragments of its once-impenetrable beak flying through the air, while the decay continued spreading across the damaged flesh.

The Therizon tried to resist the assault, but Andrea gave it no room to recover, her fists crashing into it with enough force to shake its enormous body. Then, after a particularly powerful blast, half of the Therizon’s beak exploded apart, sending pieces of decayed flesh scattering as its massive body came crashing to the ground.

Damien was already dragging the undead Lich back with him. He was completely fed up with trying to reason with it, so he simply decided to use it as his weapon instead.

Gripping the skeletal body, he swung the Lich at the Therizon whenever he got the opportunity, smacking the creature with it at every turn. The difference in their sizes should have made the whole thing ridiculous, yet the Lich remained intact even as Damien repeatedly used it against the massive beast.

Eventually, the undead Lich began to lose its patience. The runes carved across its blackened bones lit brilliantly, their purple glow becoming increasingly intense as a presence of decay began spreading out in every direction. The effect immediately began eating away at everything it reached, further weakening the Therizon’s already damaged body and making the creature even more vulnerable to their attacks.

Damien smirked arrogantly.

"There we go, now just keep it going".

He suddenly jumped onto the Therizon and started attacking it wildly, taking advantage of the openings created by the spreading decay. He moved without hesitation, striking wherever he could while the Therizon struggled beneath the combined assault.

Andrea saw that Damien had an advantage over the Therizon, so she followed behind him, using her powerful fists to break through its flesh that had already started decaying. Her attacks tore through the weakened areas with frightening ease, each strike driving deeper into the creature’s body as the decay continued to spread.

The Therizon was losing its mind. No matter how desperately it resisted, it couldn’t fend off Damien and Andrea’s relentless attacks, especially with the undead Lich constantly weakening its body with its decay.

Its enormous frame was being battered from every direction, and the more it struggled, the more openings Damien and Andrea found to attack. For the first time since the battle began, the Therizon was being completely overwhelmed.

Screeeeeeeeech!

The Therizon’s scream tore through the underground cavern, the sound vibrating through Damien’s body and making his already uncomfortable feeling grow even worse.

[You’ve Been Cursed By The Therizon]

[You’ve Been Cursed By The Therizon]

[Your Soul Is Corrupted]

[Your Soul Is Corrupted]

Damien felt uncomfortable, but he still ignored the Therizon’s attacks. He had already experienced its curse before, and despite the system’s warnings, nothing about it had been enough to make him stop fighting. As long as Andrea and the undead Lich continued wearing the Therizon down, he could keep pushing forward.

That was until the Emissary’s voice continued ringing in his head.

[Your Undead Has Fallen]

[Your Undead Has Fallen]

[Your Undead Has Fallen]!!!

"Shit."

Damien cursed under his breath, immediately dismissing his undead. The battle had practically gone beyond them at this point, with most of his undead either already fallen or no longer capable of contributing anything meaningful to the fight. The only one still attacking was the undead priest, who continued following its orders despite the chaos surrounding them.

Andrea shattered a chunk of the Therizon’s neck with another powerful punch and glanced back at Damien, who was still swinging the undead Lich around. Her expression was difficult to read.

"The Therizon is on its last leg, let’s finish this."

Damien nodded in acknowledgement. He raised the undead Lich up to his level, holding onto its skeletal body as he stared directly into its empty eye sockets.

"If you have a cool spell you’re hiding, you better use it now, or I promise I’m going to make your life a living hell."

The undead Lich looked exhausted, its movements sluggish after being dragged around and repeatedly used as a weapon. However, Damien’s threat seemed to quickly reinvigorate it. It raised both hands, and the pale purple runes carved across its skeletal body began to glow brightly, their light becoming more intense as the surrounding air seemed to grow restless.

Damien could sense that something big was coming, and he immediately turned toward Andrea.

"You might wanna stay clear of this one."

Andrea jumped off the Therizon without much argument and quickly made some distance between them. She clearly wasn’t interested in finding out what the undead Lich was about to do.

The Therizon was still struggling to even move anymore after everything they had done to it. Its body had been battered and ravaged by Andrea’s fists, Damien’s attacks, and the decay spreading through its flesh, yet it was still steadily rising once again. Even in its current state, the creature refused to stay down.

The undead Lich opened its mouth, but no sound came out.

Damien stared at it in confusion, trying to figure out what the undead creature was attempting to convey. After a few seconds of watching it, he finally asked.

"Are you asking for the Tome of Avarice?"

The undead Lich quickly nodded.

Damien was skeptical. He still had no idea what the strange undead intended to do with the Tome of Avarice, but he summoned the Vestige anyway and handed it over.

The undead Lich immediately hugged the book against its skeletal body before raising it high above its head.

The runes on the book lit up as well.

A powerful gust of wind suddenly erupted around them, tearing through the snow and debris scattered across the ground. The air rapidly grew more violent until the gusts became a raging storm, spinning faster and faster around Damien and the undead Lich.

Soon, the wind transformed into a massive tornado filled with countless razor-sharp blades of air, surrounding them from every direction and cutting through everything caught within its reach.
