Chapter 592

".....!!!"

A cold glint flashed in Trisha’s eyes as she watched the way Ray had just been treated.

She wanted to move.

Wanted to stop them, perhaps even fight if necessary, but as she took in what was happening before her, a hint of hesitation crept into her heart and dug its claws deep.

The moment Ray slid to the centre of the hall, he drew in a deep breath and finally lifted his head to take in the full scope of the place where he was to be tried.

The vast chamber was supported by towering white pillars that disappeared into the darkness above.

The walls were constructed from brilliant white stone threaded with faint golden light, while intricate celestial patterns stretched across the floor, forming concentric circles around the centre of the hall.

The chamber was so vast that even the greatest Celestial could appear insignificant within it.

At the far end stood a massive, elevated platform.

Three thrones rested upon it.

The first was green, carved from a strange crystalline material that glowed with a deep emerald radiance.

The second was yellow, brilliant and almost blinding, its golden surface radiating a warm celestial light.

The third was red, darker and more imposing, its crimson surface seemingly pulsing with a faint inner glow.

The three thrones stood apart from one another, arranged side by side above the entire chamber.

They were not ordinary seats.

Each one carried an indescribable weight, as though the very presence of its owner had been engraved into the fabric of the realm itself.

And seated upon those three thrones were three distinct balls of energy, each supposedly as enormous as a planet, yet compressed to fit within the chamber.

Each ball rested upon the throne that resonated with the colour of its energy.

Red. Green. Yellow.

Their presence alone was enough to silence the enormous hall.

Beneath the elevated platform stretched the central floor, where the proceedings of the trial would take place.

Long rows of raised platforms extended along both sides, providing places for countless Celestials to observe in absolute silence.

These Celestials appeared as balls of energy of different shapes and sizes, some small, others considerably larger.

And some didn’t even appear as balls of energy at all.

They were transparent, luminous beings with different features that almost seemed humanoid.

Ray spotted one whose features resembled those of a snake. Like the others capable of manifesting such forms, it was pure white and luminous.

The Tribrid theorised that these Celestials were powerful enough to manifest their balls of energy into the forms they possibly possessed in reality.

While others resembled nothing more than balls of energy, these ones stood out with their distinct appearances.

But no matter how hard he searched, he couldn’t find anyone who looked like Edd in the hall.

It would seem that the Messenger was the only one capable of materialising his true form in the Celestial Realm, a testament to his power.

Above them all, enormous crystalline chandeliers floated freely in the air, releasing streams of golden-white light that illuminated the chamber without any visible source.

At the centre of the hall stood a solitary circular platform, where Ray now knelt with his head slightly bowed.

The platform was completely exposed, surrounded by open space, with the three thrones looming high above it.

Every gaze within the chamber would eventually be drawn towards that single point.

There was no need for chains, guards, or weapons to restrain the Tribrid.

The pressure exuded by the First Ones and the powerful Celestials was more than enough to keep him rooted in place.

The aura and pressure permeating the hall acted like invisible chains, forcing Ray to remain on his knees without moving a single inch as he awaited whatever was about to happen.

He wasn’t in just any place.

He was in a place built for judgment.

Unlike the trial room back on Alcatraz, this place wasn’t rowdy.

There were no murmurs and certainly no side conversations.

It was orderly and silent, with everybody awaiting what was about to be said.

However, Ray didn’t miss the sideways glares being directed at him. The constant stares made him uncomfortable, as though he were standing naked before countless pairs of eyes.

He couldn’t help it, but if he had the chance, he would have loved to gouge out all their eyes... or balls.

Even though he had lost access to his Werewolf side, that didn’t mean his physical prowess and senses were gone.

His Perception and monstrous strength were still there.

It was just that he couldn’t access his Werewolf skills or even transform if the situation required i—

"The Tribrid."

Ray’s mental barrier shattered like fragile glass as an invading voice slithered into his mind.

It wasn’t just his. The voice had entered the mind of every single being in the hall.

It was calm, gentle, and almost loving, like the voice of a mother.

Lifting his head, Ray saw the Green Ball of Energy pulsing in and out while the others remained still.

"The name’s Ray, not Tribrid. I hope you can at least get that right?"

Even though he was on his knees, there was no hesitation in his words.

Not a single stutter escaped him as his eyes narrowed at the green energy.

"A cocky one, huh? I feel like you don’t know what sort of situation you’re in, do you?"

"Oh, for heaven’s sake! Why are you being so nice to the monster, Verus? Let’s cut to the chase, damn it!" the Red Ball of Energy thundered.

Its voice sounded like angry heavens threatening to descend upon the earth and pulverise it.

Unlike the gree—Verus, the red ball pulsed loudly and furiously, like a racing heart threatening to leap out of one’s chest.

"Tribrid, you are standing trial for what you are," the Red Ball declared, its unpleasant voice resounding throughout the entire hall.

"Oh, yeah? What am I?" Ray questioned, tilting his head and raising an eyebrow.

’How can he be so audacious?’ Edd mused inwardly, taken aback by the way the Tribrid was speaking to the First Ones.

"A threat. You are a threat to all realms and the multiverse. An anomaly that should be eliminated at the earliest opportunity."
