My Three Babies Have Different Fathers

Chapter 81: You’re not coming with us?

"Mother... That’s right!" Kevin insisted. "You have to marry all three of our fathers. You’re our mother. You can’t marry only one of them. You have to be fair," Kevin added, his face beginning to grow wet with tears.

Kevin’s tears were different from Zahn’s. His usually somewhat pale face had turned red with fear. His father was truly useless. However, he absolutely did not want Hana to abandon him. He was genuinely afraid that it would happen.

"Mother..." Kevin continued. "I promise I’ll be an obedient son. Please, marry my father and don’t abandon me, okay? I don’t want to be thrown into an orphanage. I want to live with you, Sean, Zahn, and my father," Kevin continued, finally bursting into childish tears.

Everyone was stunned to see how skilled Kevin was at acting.

Unable to bear seeing Kevin cry so miserably any longer, Hana finally pushed away Dion and Hans, who were still holding both her hands. She quickly lifted Kevin into her arms and settled him on her lap.

"All right, all right... Don’t cry, okay?" Hana coaxed as she wiped away Kevin’s continuously flowing tears.

Kevin shook his head. "You have to marry my father too. Come on, let’s live together in one house. Don’t abandon me all alone. I love you, Mother... I don’t want to live in a place where none of you are there," Kevin sobbed before immediately burying his face in Hana’s embrace.

Hana nodded frantically while gently patting Kevin’s back, trying to make him stop crying.

The last time Kevin had cried like this was when he was three years old, after Hana came home from work too late. At the time, Kevin had thought Hana would never return to their rented house. Even his three aunts had been completely unable to comfort him.

"All right, all right... Mother promises to marry all of them. We’ll live together in one house and take good care of all of you, okay? Mother promises not to abandon you or either of your brothers at an orphanage. You’re Mother’s sons. How could Mother refuse to listen to you? Now, be quiet and stop crying. Deal?"

Hearing Hana’s words, Kevin finally lifted his head and looked into her dark eyes. He wiped the tears from his face with both arms.

"You promise, Mother?"

Seeing Kevin look at her like that, Hana’s eyes trembled several times. She swallowed with difficulty before raising her right hand.

"Mother swears."

Everyone in the room exchanged glances. The corners of their mouths immediately twitched slightly.

"Mother!" Zahn and Sean exclaimed simultaneously, their eyes sparkling.

Hans quickly helped them climb onto Hana’s bed. He looked at them with satisfaction, seeing how well the three children had worked together to convince Hana to agree to marry all of them.

Dion let out a sigh of relief. However, before he could say anything, the phone in his pocket vibrated.

He stepped back, left the room, and answered the call.

"Sir..." His secretary’s voice sounded shaky and unclear.

"Mr. Brandon Vein has taken us hostage. His men also beat us mercilessly. Could you send someone to rescue us?" he asked with difficulty.

Dion frowned when he heard his secretary’s voice, which sounded like a duck about to be slaughtered.

"You haven’t returned yet? Didn’t I tell you to—"

Brandon’s secretary snatched the phone from Dion’s secretary and spoke in a cold voice.

"Mr. Dion Sexa, ruler of the western territory of the Melvin Continent," he said, addressing the other man as though confirming his identity. "Your secretary and your men are now in the hands of the Vein family."

Dion placed one hand on his waist, then smiled mockingly.

"So? Are you asking me to come there? Alone? With ransom money?" he asked with a snort.

Brandon’s secretary frowned. He moved the phone away from his ear and looked at the screen to make sure that the person speaking to him really was Dion Sexa.

Meanwhile, Dion’s secretary lowered his head, trying to suppress his embarrassment.

After confirming the other man’s identity, Brandon’s secretary smiled mockingly.

"I’m afraid you’ve misunderstood, Mr. Dion Sexa. The Vein family is not short of money. Do you really think we would ask for an exchange like that?" he asked.

Dion’s eyes glinted.

"Does your master want Hana?" he asked.

"That’s right. Please return Miss Hana to our master. We’ll return these people to you without a single person missing."

Dion did not answer immediately. His mind raced as he considered what he should do.

"I’ll give you an answer in ten minutes. Return them to me safely, and I’ll hand Hana over to your master," he said.

Brandon’s secretary smiled mockingly.

"Sir, do you think I’m stupid? You want to take Miss Hana away before our master can find her in person, don’t you? Am I right? Do you really have no—"

"Do you think I don’t need to speak with my wife first before handing her over to your master?" Dion snapped.

"Wife?"

Dion snorted. "Wait for my answer in ten minutes."

After saying that, Dion immediately pressed several buttons on his phone.

"Get everything ready in five minutes," he ordered. "As soon as you arrive here, bring all my stupid underlings back with you."

"Yes, sir," replied Dion’s second secretary, who was currently in the western territory of the Melvin Continent.

Sean walked out, closed the door, then stared at Dion for a few moments.

"Are you planning to take us away now?" Sean asked.

Dion lowered his head to look at Sean, then nodded.

"This is the eastern territory of the Melvin Continent. Although this hospital belongs to Zahn personally, the eastern territory can still attack it easily. It won’t be safe for Hana to stay here. Neither my power, Hans’s, nor Orland’s is enough for us to infiltrate this territory as we please."

"Has he started making his move?"

Hans shrugged. "It seems so. However, I haven’t revealed the exact location yet. Get ready and ask all your brothers to help. I’ve already asked my secretary to send a small aircraft so you can leave this place as soon as possible. There’s something you need to do first."

"You’re not coming with us?"

"Are you worried about me?" Dion asked.

Sean nodded with a serious expression.

"If you die, Mother won’t marry you. She’ll also abandon me at an orphanage."

Dion chuckled softly.

"With my strength and power, they wouldn’t dare touch me. They’re still afraid of the Supervisory Council. As long as I remain in control of this game, the successor of the eastern territory will have no choice but to bow even lower before me," Dion Sexa added, his voice growing increasingly low.
