My Three Babies Have Different Fathers
Chapter 78: Mother isn’t that kind of person
Hana turned around and knelt beside Orland Hesh. "Are you okay?" she asked.
Orland looked up at Hana with a wounded expression, then shook his head.
"Wife... I truly love you. Please come back to me after this."
Thud!
Orland closed his eyes and collapsed onto the floor immediately after finishing his sentence.
Hana was stunned, as were the others in the room.
"Hey, what’s wrong with you?" Hana asked, trying to gently pat Orland’s face. However, Dion Sexa and Hans Xin immediately stopped her, pulling Hana away from the man lying on the floor.
"Hana!" they called out simultaneously.
"What are you doing?"
"Hana, do you really believe that man’s nonsense?" Dion asked.
"Hana, I also have photos of the two of us together. He isn’t your lawful husband. I am your lawful husband," Hans chimed in without loosening his grip on Hana’s arm.
Sean, Kevin, and Zahn shook their heads in frustration at how obsessed the three men were with their mother. Finally, the three brothers exchanged nods before approaching Hana to free her from the two men’s grasp.
"Mother, they aren’t our fathers. We just happen to look like them," Sean said.
Kevin nodded, then ran to grab his bag. He took something out and returned to hand Hana a report.
"Mother, we’ve already investigated everything. They aren’t our fathers. Here’s the proof, in case you don’t believe me."
Hana immediately reached for the paper, but before her hand could touch it, Dion snatched it away first.
Dion glared at Kevin after reading the report.
Rip!
He tore the paper into several pieces.
"Hana, I’ll have my blood type checked alongside Sean’s. That way, I can confirm that Sean is my son. Will that be enough?" Dion glanced at Hana, then pointed at Kevin. "That Orland kid just can’t accept that his father is inferior to Sean’s father."
"Nonsense!" Kevin shouted. "You can read the report perfectly well! It clearly proves that none of you three has any relationship with me, Sean, or Zahn."
Sean glanced at Kevin, then nodded before taking Hana’s hand.
"Mother, you must be doubting all of this. But Kevin is my most honest younger brother. I believe what he says," Sean said, holding Hana’s arm.
"Mother, let’s go back to Karua City. It’s okay, Mother. Besides, Melvin City isn’t that great," Sean added after noticing the bandage on Hana’s kneecap.
Sean, Kevin, and Zahn possessed extraordinary abilities and had rapidly expanding business operations across the Melvin Continent. However, they had still been unable to discover who was behind the continent’s four rulers. Therefore, Sean was certain that returning to Karua City was the right choice, especially after seeing Hana injured today.
Hana lowered her head and stroked Sean’s hair, then did the same to her other two sons. Seeing the worried expressions on their faces, she finally nodded.
However, before Hana could utter a single word, Dion had already pulled Sean away and forcibly picked him up. One arm wrapped tightly around Sean’s small body, while his other hand carefully touched Hana’s hand.
"You still don’t believe me, do you? Fine. We’ll get the tests done now. We’ll do whatever it takes until you believe that everything I’ve said is the truth."
"Wait!" Sean shouted. "I’m not..."
Hana, who was also being pulled along, looked at Dion and shook her head.
"Wait a moment! Besides, there’s still that man." Hana pointed at Orland Hesh, who was injured and lying on the floor. She tried to use his condition as an excuse to find a way out and thwart Dion’s intentions.
Hana felt horrified at the thought that the truth she feared might soon become reality. She just wanted to escape with her three children to Karua City. After all, she still had other problems to deal with.
She had to return to Karua City before the police found her.
Dion sneered as he looked at Orland, who was lying miserably on the floor and looked as though he were on the verge of death.
"You actually believe such a cheap act?"
Thud!
Dion kicked Orland, moving the man out of his way.
"Aghh!" Orland immediately groaned, his face pale. "Dion Sexa!" he shouted.
Hana was stunned for a few moments. However, Dion gave her no chance to react. He immediately dragged Hana out toward the hospital’s paternity testing room, ignoring both Sean’s protests and Hana’s own objections.
Behind them, Kevin and Zahn exchanged glances, unsure what to say. Neither of them had expected Dion to have absolutely no intention of giving them a chance to back out this time.
A few seconds later, Zahn’s eyes lit up. He immediately pulled his phone from his pocket and pressed the call button.
However, before the call could connect, Hans snatched the phone from his hand.
"Are you planning to use another underhanded trick to stop Hana from acknowledging us as your fathers?" Hans taunted.
"I-I... who said that?" Zahn hurriedly denied it, although his behavior clearly suggested otherwise.
Hans tossed Zahn’s phone onto Hana’s hospital bed, then forcibly picked the boy up.
"Come with me. We’re going to have our blood tested together in front of your mother."
"No!" Zahn shouted, struggling to free himself.
"Zahn," Hans called in a firm enough voice to startle the boy.
"Do you want your mother to marry another man and give birth to his child?"
Zahn stared into Hans’s blue eyes with a confused expression.
"If that happens," Hans continued, "do you know what it would mean for you and your two brothers?"
"What?" Zahn asked in an increasingly quiet voice, as though he genuinely wanted to know the answer.
"Your mother will abandon you once she gives birth to a child with the man she likes."
"Mother isn’t that kind of person," Zahn argued.
"Then do you think a woman who marries another man, builds a new family, and has another child will still be willing to care for children who aren’t her new husband’s flesh and blood? Her future husband will surely consider you a burden and ask your mother to abandon you at an orphanage."
Kevin, who was standing beside Hans, swallowed hard.
Seeing Hans leave while carrying Zahn, Kevin immediately ran toward his three grandmothers, who were now looking at him as well.
"Grandma..." he called out with a worried expression. "Is what Zahn’s father said true? Will Mother abandon us if she marries a man who isn’t our biological father?"
