My Three Babies Have Different Fathers
Chapter 38: You’d better blame him
Kevin and Sean turned to look at Zahn with wide eyes.
"But... Mom already signed that agreement. Mom will only marry the three of our fathers. She will only divorce them if she becomes dissatisfied with them," Sean said.
Kevin nodded, agreeing with Sean’s answer.
"Mom doesn’t know that these three men are our biological fathers. She doesn’t remember their faces. At the very least, if we refuse to acknowledge them as our fathers, Mom will definitely trust us more. Isn’t that right?" Zahn asked.
Sean and Kevin exchanged glances, their eyes quickly lighting up.
"Zahn, you’re really smart this time," Sean praised.
"You get one compliment from me too. You’re quite smart this time," Kevin added.
Zahn lifted his chin, hearing praise from both of his brothers, who had never praised him before. They always called him stupid whenever they got the chance. Even his teacher, Jezy, and his other two grandmas were the same. Only Hana always praised him for being smart.
And now, both of his brothers had finally admitted it.
Sean opened his own laptop. "I’ll look for the candidates. I’ll check the wealthy, unmarried businessmen in Melvin City. If their abilities can match those of our biological fathers, we can consider them after this."
Zahn and Kevin nodded at the same time.
"I’ll try contacting Grandma again. I’ll find another way to locate Mom faster, even before our plane lands."
Zahn, sitting beside them, watched as his two brothers became busy with their respective computers.
Finally, he reached for his own laptop and started operating it. His hands moved more slowly than Kevin’s and Sean’s, but every movement was precise and certain.
Five minutes later, Zahn looked up at his two brothers and showed them all the results he had found. "Take a look. This is our Grandma, right? Mom’s mother? Why is Mom’s old house now in the hands of Mom’s ex-boyfriend’s fiancée?" he asked.
"Take another look at this one," Zahn said, pointing as he moved his cursor to another tab. "Mom’s ex-boyfriend’s fiancée came to Karua City yesterday, but she returned before even spending two days there. Do you think she knows where Mom is now?"
Kevin immediately got out of his chair and walked over to Zahn. "Damn... how could my brain really stop working earlier? I didn’t notice this opening at all."
Sean also got up and walked over to Zahn with his laptop in hand. After looking at Zahn’s laptop screen, he nodded. "Zahn, your brain is finally working properly this time. Mom will definitely be proud of you. I’ll ask my secretary to investigate Mom’s ex’s fiancée immediately," he said.
Zahn nodded and let his two brothers return to their computers.
A while later, Kevin’s laptop screen began displaying the results. The codes changed rapidly, showing the phone data of Brandon’s fiancée, Laila.
He turned on the speaker so Zahn and Sean could hear the voices of Hana and the woman as well.
"Miss Hana, we will give you one million dollars right now if you sign this document. We will decide where you should go so that Mr. Brandon will never be able to find you again."
As soon as the voice was heard, the cabin door was kicked open from outside.
Sean, Kevin, and Zahn frowned when they saw who had done it.
It was their useless fathers!
"Who wants to send Hana away again?" Hans Xin asked.
Orland Hesh walked toward Kevin. "Who was speaking in that recording? Give me her information. Dad will destroy her life right now."
Dion Sexa followed behind him. "Do they think one million dollars is a lot? I’ve already spent hundreds of millions of dollars over the past five years just trying to find Hana. And now they want to drive her away again with only one million dollars?"
Hans Xin walked to Kevin’s side. "Send me her identity right now. I’ll destroy that person."
Sean looked up at the three men and sneered. "You really looked for Mom? You searched for five years and couldn’t find her at all?" Sean asked. "Seriously? Is Melvin Continent really that huge that you couldn’t find her all this time? And now you’re pretending to care about her?"
Orland Hesh glared at Sean in annoyance. "Do you think we would have simply let your mother go back then? And now we’re only pretending in front of you? We really loved her back then. If it weren’t for the Xin Family working together to kidnap that girl, do you think we would have let her suffer all this time?" he snapped.
"Then?" Kevin asked fearlessly as he looked at his angry father. "Doesn’t that mean you really are useless? You couldn’t even find Mom for five years. You weren’t responsible for Mom at all. What makes you think Mom will accept you again?"
Zahn also looked at the three adults in front of him angrily. "Do you even know that Mom almost died twice when she gave birth to us? Do you know that Mom had to work extremely hard all this time, even enduring so much humiliation because we didn’t have a father?"
Dion Sexa patted Orland Hesh on the back, forcing him to calm down. "We did make a mistake by failing to find Hana quickly and making her go through all the suffering she should never have had to endure again."
Dion Sexa pointed at Hans Xin beside Kevin with his index finger. "But if you want someone to blame, you’d better blame him," he added. "He killed every member of his family without asking where they had sent Hana first. And besides... why did Orland Hesh and I never think Hana could be in Karua City, and why did we never even set foot there? That’s because Karua City is located in the southern region of Melvin Continent. That region is under this man’s control."
"And he..." Dion Sexa looked at Hans Xin again. "He is responsible for that territory. We have written agreements within each of our families not to interfere in one another’s territories."
"Wait... me?" Hans Xin asked incredulously.
