My Talent Skill Mutated

Chapter 439 196: Return

"First, stabilize your cultivation. We'll set off tomorrow morning," Feng Miaotian said.

"Alright," Chen Yu nodded.

Then, Feng Miaotian and the other two left.

Watching their departing figures, Chen Yu headed for the villa's bedroom.

Meanwhile, within the Ancient City, everyone finally came back to their senses.

The scene from moments ago had shaken the entire Ancient City.

Even though the moment had passed, it remained deeply seared into their souls like a brand.

...

Returning to his bedroom in the villa, Chen Yu summoned Sophie.

"Is this evolution the final one?" Chen Yu asked, looking at Sophie.

Sophie nodded. "Yes, my human master. Sophie's evolution has reached its limit."

Chen Yu nodded.

He wasn't too surprised. For Sophie to evolve into a True God's weapon was already the pinnacle.

A True God's weapon, while incomparable to an Innate Emperor's Weapon, could still enhance his strength to a degree.

Closing his eyes, Chen Yu lay on the sofa. Sophie, seemingly understanding his intent, slowly knelt down.

While enjoying Sophie's services, Chen Yu focused on the four strands of Law Power within his body.

Having mastered the Law of Speed, he could develop it to its absolute limit in conjunction with his God-Speed ability.

If he so wished, he could even perform a Space-Time Reverse Flow.

Of course, the drain on a True God's energy was immense.

A Space-Time Reverse Flow doesn't just change one aspect of reality, but everything.

Even if he were to reverse the flow of time and space, he could only observe, not intervene.

Otherwise, the cosmos would inflict a Destruction Divine Tribulation. This catastrophe targets the individual exclusively, and even with his power, he wouldn't be able to withstand it.

It would utterly destroy him. To change the past, he would have to be able to withstand the full power of the Destruction Divine Tribulation.

Otherwise, it would be a path to certain death.

This was Cosmic Cause and Effect.

To avoid being ensnared by causality, one would have to comprehend the Law of Cause and Effect.

By using the Law of Cause and Effect in tandem with the Law of Speed to reverse time and change the past, one could avoid triggering a Cosmic Divine Tribulation.

But Chen Yu had no intention of attempting such a feat lightly.

There was no need. Even if he did try, it would be pointless for him.

Past, future, present.

The moment he achieved the status of a True God, his past was erased and his future ceased to exist. A trinity of time became one: only the present remained.

This was one of the divine transformations that came with godhood.

If he went back to the past, he would not be able to see his former self.

In the future, there would be no other version of him.

At any given node in spacetime, only his current self would exist.

...

A day passed quickly.

The next morning, Chen Yu, Feng Miaotian, and the others appeared in the hall of the Ancient City Manor.

"Don't we need to leave anyone behind to stand guard?" Chen Yu asked, looking at Feng Miaotian and the others.

Feng Miaotian shook her head. "No. After what you did last time, our main base is very secure now."

"But what if the Alien Race launches a sneak attack?" Chen Yu frowned.

"That would only happen if the Alien Race doesn't want their own base anymore," Zhuang Bo piped up.

Hearing this, Chen Yu gave a slight nod and said no more.

"Let's go. It's time to set out," Feng Miaotian said, rising to her feet.

Chen Yu and the others also stood up. With a single thought, the four of them vanished from the Ancient City.

Soon, they had left the Stellar Battlefield completely behind, heading in the direction of Ancestor Star.

The original plan was to go to the Azure Sky Star first, but due to Chen Yu's period of seclusion, they could now head directly back to the Ancestor Star.

The Godhood Convocation would be held on the Ancestor Star, an honor for the planet.

The birth of a True God Venerable had a tremendous impact on any world.

After the Godhood Convocation, a larger portion of the Human Race's resources would also be directed to the Ancestor Star.

...

Several days passed in a blur.

In the vastness of space, several figures streaked by like rays of light. Chen Yu stopped and gazed at the azure planet before him.

'Ancestor Star!'

In just a few days, they had reached the Ancestor Star.

The Ancestor Star looked the same as when he had left, but he himself had undergone a world-altering transformation.

He had stepped into the realm of a True God. 'Perhaps I never thought I would become a god in such a short time.'

"What's wrong? Getting homesick as you get closer?" Feng Miaotian asked Chen Yu with a bright smile.

Chen Yu didn't deny it, simply nodding.

It was true. He was feeling a complex mix of emotions upon his return.

Ever since leaving the Ancestor Star, he had always felt a lingering attachment.

After all, he had spent all his time on the Ancestor Star since he transmigrated here, right up until he became a god.

"The situation on the Ancestor Star is much better now," Feng Miaotian said. "The Evil Cults and alien beasts have almost completely gone into hiding."

Chen Yu gazed at the Ancestor Star, calming the ripples in his heart. "Let's go."

With that, he vanished. Feng Miaotian and the others exchanged a glance before following him.

As he passed through the Ancestor Star's atmosphere, Chen Yu's consciousness enveloped the entire planet in an instant.

With the power of a True God, scanning the entire world was no problem at all.

But he quickly sensed several powerful Divine Thoughts.

The consciousness of other True Gods.

The instant his scan covered the globe, the other True Gods on the Ancestor Star sensed his presence.

With the Godhood Convocation imminent, the Ancestor Star was currently a bustling place.

Nearly every allied Alien Race of the Human Race had dispatched a Venerable to attend.

This was perhaps the most bustling the Ancestor Star had been in a thousand years.

Sensing these other divine consciousnesses, Chen Yu projected a friendly thought.

After all, these True Gods were either of the Human Race or were Venerables from allied races. He wasn't arrogant enough to simply ignore them.

Especially now, Chen Yu was even more vigilant toward the Venerables of the various Alien Races.

A single race could have more than one Venerable, and he hadn't even met the strongest among them.

He had only met a fraction of the Human Race's own Venerables, far from all of them.

BUZZ!

Just then, a dark light shimmered, and a tall figure materialized before Chen Yu and his companions.

"Greetings, Senior Wu." Seeing the black-robed, middle-aged man before them, Feng Miaotian and the others clasped their hands in a respectful salute.

'Senior Wu... Could he be the Wu Wudi that Feng Miaotian mentioned?!'

Chen Yu was inwardly shocked as he looked at the black-robed man.

'Wu Wudi!'

He was currently the strongest Venerable in the Human Race, second only to the Great Emperor.

A Tier Nine True God.

He was at the True God Peak and, according to rumor, was not far from becoming a Great Emperor himself.

And this particular True God was a genuinely ancient one.

He hailed from the same era as the Firmament Emperor.

A true pillar of the Human Race.

"Greetings, Senior Wu," Chen Yu said, instantly snapping back to reality and offering a cupped-fist salute.

The black-robed man smiled. "Haha, no need for such formalities. This is just a clone. Come to the Capital City. I'll be waiting for you."

The black-robed man spoke, and his figure vanished the moment he finished.

'A clone...'

Chen Yu watched the spot where the black-robed man had vanished, feeling a slight tremor in his heart.

Coming to his senses, Chen Yu looked toward Feng Miaotian and the others.

None of them spoke. Then, with a flicker, their figures vanished from where they stood.

Chen Yu didn't ask any questions and followed suit, disappearing as well. Soon, he and the others arrived at the Capital City.

From his departure to his return, the Capital City remained largely unchanged.

However, Chen Yu could sense the presence of numerous terrifying auras within the city.

There were no fewer than a dozen True God Venerables, perhaps even more.

He had no idea how many Alien Race Venerables had come in addition to those of the Human Race.

Upon entering the Capital City, Chen Yu was quickly led by Feng Miaotian and the others to a manor within the city.

The manor was isolated by a majestic Array.

Stepping into the manor felt like crossing over into another world entirely.

As he entered the manor, Chen Yu's eyes immediately fell upon several figures.
