My Talent Panel Can Add Points
Chapter 637 - 302: Spear Smash Fails to Kill, Count It as a Single Explosion! Arena Blown Up!
"Ahhhh!"
"What the hell is this?"
"Damn, is this really Tier Two!?"
....
In an instant, the audience erupted in excitement. Those Tier Three Spiritualists couldn’t fathom why this Tier Two had such outrageous stats. Is this truly a Tier Two Spiritualist?
What did he just use?
External Energy Release!
Theoretically, External Energy Release isn’t even considered an offensive move. Simply unleashing energy to the point of breaking through an opponent’s domain far exceeds common understanding.
Mo Ze remained silent, observing the arena before calmly speaking, "I think he actually cannot fully control that energy. If he could, he wouldn’t need to resort to such an extreme level of energy release to win."
"If he could control it perfectly, he could win through normal combat, though it’d be a bit tougher, but that approach would be more cost-effective, leaving more hidden trump cards for himself."
"Overpowering an opponent with sheer energy release might look impressive, but for a real Mage, it’s inefficient. If there were other ways, I certainly wouldn’t choose to win this way. What do you think?"
Finally, Mo Ze’s gaze turned to Xing Shi.
"Me too. Logically, if one had such terrifying energy reserves, there would be many strategies to employ, no need to fight like this. There are better paths than pure numeric suppression," Xing Shi nodded in agreement.
The other Tier Three Spiritualists in the audience generally agreed with this perspective. After all, Ye Mingqiu was from the Magic System and a Mage, so he didn’t need to fight in such an inefficient manner.
If he were to battle with trickery, he could deceive quite a few people, earning lots of points.
Using full power now would deter many from challenging him, reducing his potential earnings, which was a significant disadvantage for him.
He likely wouldn’t do this if there were other options.
"Also, did you notice one thing? Doesn’t it seem like he has a lot of hidden trump cards?" Mo Ze frowned, seeming to notice something for the first time.
"It’s indeed quite a lot. I’ve never seen anything like this before. It’s absurd. I even get the feeling he might have even more trump cards, although I don’t know if that’s just an illusion," Xing Shi shrugged helplessly.
"From a rational standpoint, it should be your illusion, but in reality, rationality doesn’t seem to apply to him."
Mo Ze sighed helplessly.
Soon, more and more voices emerged. The number of spectators in the arena continued to grow, as did the discussions about "Other Shore."
Until suddenly, someone exclaimed, "His power is too strong, almost comparable to the Cat Lord."
"Who is this Cat Lord?"
"Short-tailed Cat, a top figure who single-handedly conquered an entire top-tier world. A Tier One Spiritualist, now a legendary existence."
"There are more experts?"
"Indeed, it’s said that the Cat Lord single-handedly broke through the defense lines of six major factions, obliterating them completely, leaving no survivors. The Silicon-based Life faction was especially vocal, their companion weapons being shattered by the Cat Lord."
"Isn’t that too ruthless?"
"One cat annihilates six clans, do you think that’s a joke?"
"By the way, I remember, the Cat Lord wasn’t initially this powerful but had an unexpected encounter. Then during a tournament, he famously said: ’Thirty years east of the river, thirty years west of the river, don’t underestimate a young girl’s poverty.’ I still have the recording."
"Let me see it."
....
The arena’s atmosphere became increasingly heated, yet no one dared to challenge outright, as they weren’t sure just how strong that guy was. Though the Holy Power external release was likely his final trump card, no one could be certain how much energy that move could ultimately unleash.
The betting window remained open, with the Tier Three Spiritualists also curious about what kind of battle would ensue next.
However...
The anticipated scene of a Tier Three challenging Other Shore didn’t happen. Instead, Other Shore proactively stepped into the challenge zone, calling out another legendary Tier Three, who was even a Tier Three Level 3 Assassin, challenging for 50 points.
What is this guy trying to do?
Testing his limits?
The Tier Three Level 3 Assassin was incredibly fast, immune to his control right at the start, in an instant appearing in front of Ye Mingqiu, his dagger glinting coldly as if about to finish him in one strike.
And at that critical moment, Other Shore didn’t cast magic but swung the Blood Crystal Staff.
Interestingly, the staff seemed to transform into... a Battle Spear?
[Violent Blood]
[Beast Blood Boiling]
A double buff instantly activated, the Blood Spear merged with his arm, Blood Crystal Patterns spread to his upper arm, as he swung the Battle Spear at incredible speed.
"Boom!!"
The Tier Three Level 3 legend was cut in half, bewildered as he fell into two pieces. Yet the powerful life force of a Tier Three didn’t let him die immediately, allowing him to see the Blood Spear’s end descending upon his face.
"Boom!"
He shattered into pieces.
Other Shore’s shadow vanished too, exploding the audience into an uproar.
"???"
"What did I just see?"
"Wait, wait! Isn’t this guy a Mage? Isn’t he part of the Magic System? How did he just use a staff to take down an Assassin? What’s going on here?"
"I just got here, and you said he’s a top Mage—were you lying to me? Isn’t this guy a Warrior?"
