Is the pain the same?

She pulled back her hand and didn’t strike.

Cole O’Connell reached out and opened the drawer, pressing her down and spreading her legs again.

"Cole, I’m still hurting..." Yulia O’Connell thought he was about to start again, pushing back with her hands trying to retreat.

"Don’t move, a little ointment and it won’t hurt," Cole said, holding her firmly, as his fingertips gently rotated slowly.

Yulia’s face turned bright red, and she covered her face with a pillow!

"I’ll have the butler bring your meal up..." Cole’s charming face showed a trace of amusement.

"Young Master... Young Master, the old lady is here; she’s downstairs!" The butler urgently knocked on the door.

Cole’s recently relaxed expression immediately darkened. He had warned everyone not to leak the news of Yulia stealing documents, yet the old lady had come so quickly.

"Stay upstairs," Cole kissed the corner of her mouth, turning to head downstairs.

"I’ll come down too!" Yulia threw off the covers, feeling predatory eyes upon her and quickly pulled them back up, "Brother, grab me some clothes!"

Cole blinked and went to the wardrobe, fetching her an outfit, a dress.

"It’s too cold outside, I want to wear my white sweater," she didn’t want the old lady to see the kiss marks all over her when she went downstairs, fearing she’d faint from anger!

Cole changed the clothes for her again.

As Yulia descended the stairs, she could feel murderous stares from afar!

"Grandma," Cole said, hands tucked into his pockets, his sharply defined and devilishly handsome features resembling a fierce blade, casually scanning the servants in the hall, "Everyone, leave!"

"Wait!" The old lady tapped her cane on the ground, "Cole O’Connell, do you still intend to protect this woman? Didn’t yesterday’s incident make you see her for the hypocrite she is? She went so far as to steal documents for another man. Do you realize the consequences for the O’Connell Family if those documents aren’t retrieved?"

"Grandma, you shouldn’t believe everything you hear!"

"Cole!" The old lady shook with anger, "You will regret this someday! The O’Connell Family is bound to fall because of you!"

Yulia kept her head down and said nothing. Whether the documents she gave Nathan Knight were real or fake, fundamentally, she betrayed Cole.

And yesterday...

"The O’Connell Family will not fall, and I want Yulia too. If it’s just about this matter, I will explain it to you in due time. The truth hasn’t been uncovered yet; she can’t be blamed!" Cole’s eyes scanned the woman beside him, who kept her head down.

Even though she had given herself to him yesterday, she still cared deeply, cared about who was more important in her heart—him or Nathan Knight.

"Can’t be blamed? Oh, can’t be blamed!" The old lady’s glare wished to tear Yulia apart.

"This concerns the O’Connell Family, so investigate at your leisure! But the culprits must not go unpunished. I’ll take Yulia with me today; come for her only after you’ve found the truth!"

"She can’t leave!" Cole blocked the way.

How could he not be familiar with the old lady’s tactics!

"Cole, are you forcing me, your elder, to die in front of you? Would that make you happy?"

"Brother, let me go with Grandma," Yulia suddenly spoke up.
