Chapter 1126: Bitten by Her

“Damn it!” the man inside the car cursed under his breath.

The large hand that wrapped around Melody Thorne’s waist to pull her into the car let go immediately.

“It’s you again!” Melody Thorne’s tone was full of disdain.

Ethan Knight’s car sped away from the spot, his clothes half-open. “If it weren’t for me, you’d have been taken away by now!”

“Who?” Melody Thorne glanced back through the car’s rearview mirror and saw two men standing right where she had just been!

“Probably had some bad intentions toward you!” Ethan Knight’s gaze flickered past Melody Thorne.

“Where are you taking me? Isn’t yesterday’s deal already void?”

“Whether it’s void or not is up to me. Now my sister is with Jared Quinn. If you want to go back now, I can choose to send you back!”

“You’d be that kind to me?” Melody Thorne snorted coldly. “So now that Jared Quinn has reached some agreement with your sister, you’re here to find me, right?”

“Smart.” Ethan Knight took Melody Thorne to his territory. “My sister and Jared Quinn made a seven-day agreement, and I want to make a three-day deal with you. If you follow my orders for these three days, I promise to give you the antidote without harming you, how about it?”

Melody Thorne thought it over; it seemed quite a good deal. “Okay.”

When Leon Rivers returned to Harold Chapman’s place, Melody Thorne was already gone. He immediately called Jared Quinn to report this!

Jared Quinn’s eyes were fixed on the computer. After the last incident, he had placed a small tracking device on Melody Thorne so he could always know her whereabouts.

The computer screen now showed that Melody Thorne was at Ethan Knight’s Knight Palace Gate!

“It seems she’s gone off with my brother again. If Mr. Quinn wishes to go as well, I can invite you to join us at Knight Palace Gate,” Flora Knight spoke lightly with a smile as she appeared behind Jared Quinn.

Jared Quinn glanced at the time; it was past seven in the evening. Melody Thorne being with any man at night made him uneasy!

Though he knew Ethan Knight couldn’t touch women!

“Let’s go,” Jared Quinn stood up.

Knight Palace Gate, the hall.

Melody Thorne sat on the sofa watching servants bustling in and out. Ethan Knight had instructed them to prepare an abundance of jewels as well as women’s clothes and shoes, everything was available.

“Do you think I’m such a shallow woman?” Melody Thorne leaned back on the sofa, dismissive of the items!

“Whether you’re a shallow woman, I don’t know, but I do know you’ll be staying here for these three days, and in the same room with me. Those things were prepared for you to choose from and wear!” Ethan Knight spoke softly, sitting beside her, twirling a strand of her hair.

“Even if it’s just for three days, I want to make sure you’re happy staying here, right?”

Melody Thorne brushed his hand away. “I’m hungry, have someone prepare dinner!”

Ethan Knight checked the time, “Wait awhile, there are two more guests. I promise dinner will be ready in under five minutes!”

Melody Thorne grabbed an apple and took a bite. Ethan Knight got up from the sofa, moved a small stool in front of her, and sat down, watching her with great interest. Eating an apple, even done adorably, no wonder Jared Quinn would do anything for her!

“Feed me,” Ethan Knight’s gaze fixed on the apple in her hand, despite having been bitten, it looked incredibly appetizing.
