Leon Rivers teased him with a couple of lines, hooked an arm around Ethan Knight’s shoulder, and sat down with him, tugging at Ethan’s suit. “Why are you dressing more formally these days? You didn’t use to like this style.”

“Ugh, how can you pull at my clothes in front of so many people?” Ethan adjusted his suit. “Jared is still as unyielding as ever.”

“Yes, he has a cleanliness obsession. I don’t mind your messiness.” Leon’s hand wandered all over Ethan, playfully. “Let me see if you’ve had any cosmetic work done recently?”

“Don’t let Leon Rivers sleep in your bed,” Melody whispered softly.

“Absolutely. If he dares climb up, I’ll kick him off, it’s too disgusting.”

Leon suddenly noticed that Chloe Summers’ expression seemed off and quickly released Ethan.

“Did you come here just to tease me?” Ethan squinted his eyes. “Leon has never come to see me of his own volition, let alone bringing Jared.”

“I heard you’ve captured quite a few people recently,” Jared Quinn went straight to the point.

Ethan raised his beautiful eyebrows. “Is it those unruly ones who offended Jared?”

“No, Jared’s father-in-law’s family was abducted, and the mark left on the sofa is the imprint of your Knight Palace Gate,” Leon explained.

“Leon must be joking. I’ve never had a conflict with the Quinn Family, and everyone knows this. The Thorne Family also knows. I have no reason to kidnap them; you’ve got the wrong person.”

“You didn’t abduct them?” Jared locked his deep, dark eyes onto the bewitching man in front of him.

“I’ve been very busy lately, and Knight Palace Gate matters have kept me occupied. I don’t have time to mess with them, and besides, Jared and I are acquaintances; I definitely would not touch them. I have no feud with the Thorne Family either.”

“Sure,” Ethan pulled Leon over. “But first, show me the mark you saw yesterday from my Knight Palace Gate; let’s see who dared to go out under my name and abduct people.”

“Alright,” Leon flipped through his phone and found the image of the mark on the pillow that he took yesterday.

A glint flashed through Ethan’s eyes, and he quickly denied. “Our Knight Palace Gate isn’t the only ones with that imprint. I suggest Leon look more carefully.”
