Instead of letting Elias Hale go directly to find Selina, Melody Thorne pulled him into the surveillance room. While there’s no surveillance inside Selina’s room, there is outside.

Once inside the surveillance room, incessant chatter came from the monitor.

“Why hasn’t my brother come to see me yet? Why? My brother obviously loves me the most.”

“He must be bewitched by Selina Sloan, that vixen, and the Thorne woman, that vixen. These two women have been seducing my brother on purpose, trying to make him sever ties with me!”

Selina spoke frantically.

The alarm sounded on the surveillance monitor. Within two minutes, a male doctor appeared in the footage, hurriedly walking into the room.

“Doctor, doctor, please, I need to get out. Let me out. I promise I’ll be back within an hour. I need to see how my brother is doing, whether he’s been…”

“Miss Han, I’ve let you out several times now, but there are consequences. You know, if we’re discovered, I could very well be fired from the hospital!”

The doctor’s expression gradually changed; since he had already touched her, why not get his fill?

Seeing how much Elias Hale cared for her, Selina lifted her lips to smile, but her gaze suddenly shifted toward Melody Thorne, and her expression turned instantly dark.

The hospital security quickly separated Elias Hale and the doctor.

“Pah, she’s nothing but a bitch who lets anyone touch her, worth it? Think I care? If you hadn’t let me touch you, do you think I’d want to touch a lunatic!”

“Fire him,” Doctor Mo ordered.

“Yes.”

The doctor was kicked out of the hospital.
