Chapter 1077: Chapter 606: Sacrificial Demon Victims’ Association

Alice transformed into a Magical Girl in front of everyone, showcasing her Extraordinary Power.

Seeing this scene, not only Shen Sui but even the enemies surrounding Alice were stunned.

They even thought at one point that they had fallen under some skill of a Fantasy System Spirit Beast, trapped in some illusion.

However, soon, the scorching flame made them realize the reality: a human, a perfectly normal-looking human, after speaking a long series of inexplicable words, suddenly transformed, gaining powerful Extraordinary Power.

"Everyone, don’t panic!" one of them shouted loudly, "This must be some skill of a Possession System Spirit Beast!"

Possessing other creatures, allowing the host to gain formidable combat power. Such spirit beasts are not uncommon in the Beast Taming World; the Star Dust Illusion is the most standard Possession System Spirit Beast.

Since they can possess other spirit beasts, naturally they can also possess Beast Taming Masters. But in this peaceful era, it is rare for Beast Taming Masters to engage in such dangerous operations.

Although everyone feels that Alice’s transformation is somewhat different from the situation of a Possession System Spirit Beast possession, at least it provides an explanation for Alice’s changes, which is much better than fighting with panic.

Alice didn’t care about the psychological assumptions of these enemies. After she redeployed her powers, her gaze quickly scanned everything in the field.

With the swing of her Magic Staff, adorable flame dolls appeared around Alice.

In the next second, her figure flickered and disappeared from the original spot.

Although Alice doesn’t have psychic abilities, she is naturally endowed with a keen sense of the situation.

Sixteen Quasi-Divine Stage Spirit Beasts, appearing formidable, with a stance that seemed to cut off all paths of retreat for Alice.

But the owners of these spirit beasts came from different factions. Although they belonged to the evil forces of this world, due to differing interests, conflicts often occur between these organizations even in normal times.

Their appearance here is merely because Alice’s existence has offended every one of them.

The best way to deal with such enemies is to divide and conquer, defeating them one by one.

For the first attack, Alice only targeted the enemies from one of the factions.

The opponent’s response was swift as the enormous bird spirit beast erupted with electricity from its mouth, attacking the rapidly approaching Alice.

What Alice feared the least was fire, followed by thunder.

She was the Pope of the Master of Thunder!

The flames leaped, directly deflecting the lightning attack. Guided by the blaze, Alice’s figure appeared in front of the opponent in the next second.

A pure white fireball directly hit the Thunderbird’s brow, accompanied by the smell of charred feathers, the Thunderbird let out an angry cry.

Alice did not unleash her full power.

One reason was that she wasn’t sure if she could kill the opponent in one strike.

The second reason was that if she indeed killed the opponent, then in the face of her formidable strength, the enemies with their own calculations would certainly unite against her, regardless of their animosities with other forces.

Alice’s current rank was equivalent to a Quasi-Divine Stage Spirit Beast, which meant at least Tier Twelve.

Though she had the support of Source Power, in actual combat against one or two Quasi-Divine Spirit Beasts, it wasn’t a problem at all. But facing sixteen of them wasn’t something Alice could manage.

Sure enough, Alice’s first round of attack severely injured the Thunderbird, but the only real counterattack came from the target she attacked; the other Quasi-Divine Spirit Beasts, under their respective owners’ constraints, all stood by watching.

This made the Beast Taming Master, who was heavily targeted by Alice, very unhappy, shouting around, "The Witch is at most a Quasi-God! Why aren’t you taking action!"

"They have their own troubles." Alice raised a foot and kicked the opponent off the Thunderbird, "I’ve been pondering these past days what you Beast Taming Masters consider spirit beasts as. Are they tools? Partners? Or weapons?"

Evidently, Alice’s words caused the expressions of everyone present to change slightly.

"Damn! Thunderbird! Catch me quickly!"

The opponent fell from the air, instantly panicking. He wasn’t Alice, lacking any Extraordinary Power.

But what shocked him happened.

The Thunderbird, usually unconditionally obedient to his command, looked at his falling figure with utter indifference. Its gaze was even filled with a sense of hatred.

"On my journey, I’ve encountered many Beast Taming Masters." Alice said with a smile as she waved the Magic Staff in her hand, "They vary in strength, and their attitudes towards their spirit pets differ greatly. Some regard their spirit pets as family and close friends, willing to be hurt themselves rather than let their pets suffer any harm, while others view their spirit pets as tools, wantonly exploiting their value regardless of their original health."

"So I’m curious." Alice looked at the already fallen Beast Taming Master, then raised her head to look around at the Beast Taming Masters, "What exactly is the bond that connects you with your spirit pets? Is it the contract filled with enforced obedience... or is it the emotion between you and your spirit pets?"

"Witch! What on earth are you trying to say!"

Alice looked at the Beast Taming Master who first spoke, and gave a delightful smile.
