Chapter 194: Nyxara’s Bloodline and Physique

He still didn’t know how strong the other contestants would be, but he was confident that his wives would perform well. Then another thought crossed his mind.

He still needed to thank Bai Chen. Ever since the last incident, he hadn’t met him again. As Nova lay deep in thought, he suddenly sensed a presence entering his room.

The room was dark, illuminated only by the soft moonlight filtering in through the window. Even so, Nova could clearly feel who had stepped inside.

When he finally saw the figure, a look of genuine surprise crossed his face.

It was Nyxara. She stood in the doorway wearing a beautiful, elegant, alluring sheer black nightgown. Even though the room was dark and only soft moonlight filtered through the window, Nova’s eyes could see every detail with perfect clarity.

The breathtaking Demon Princess stood before him like something out of a dream. Her voluptuous, mature figure was clearly outlined beneath the thin fabric — the soft curves of her waist, the full weight of her heavy breasts, and the graceful lines of her body all faintly visible through the sheer material.

Her long crimson hair was completely loose, cascading over her shoulders in soft waves, with a few strands falling across her face and framing her dreamy crimson eyes.

Those eyes, usually sharp and cold, now held a quiet intensity as she looked at him.

Nova could only stare. The woman standing in front of him truly looked like an otherworldly goddess... and she was now his wife.

She slowly stepped closer, fully aware that he was awake and watching her. When she finally stood right in front of the bed, Nova spoke her name softly.

"Nyxara?"

She raised an eyebrow slightly.

"You said you were going out... but you didn’t go anywhere. Why did you lie to me?"

Nova sat up and smiled faintly.

"I was inside the system training space."

Nyxara nodded in understanding. That explained why he had returned so quickly.

She sat down on the bed beside him, her voice quieter now. "...Do you think I’ve forgiven you for what you did to me in the Abyss?"

The sudden question caught Nova off guard. He looked at her expressionless face and asked carefully,

"You still haven’t?"

"No," she replied honestly. "But I want to."

She paused for a moment before continuing.

"Everything happened so quickly. I don’t even know when it started... but somewhere along the way, I began to like you."

"I never planned on having a romantic relationship with anyone. Not until I became strong enough to defeat my father and avenge my mother... even if that took my entire life."

Nova remained silent, simply listening as she continued.

"But I knew my father would return soon, and my training deadline on the Fourth Level was already over. Even though I managed to become a Sovereign in a short time — something that should have been impossible..."

"It only became possible because of my bloodline awakening."

Nova looked at her.

"Is it related to the Demon God’s prophecy?"

Nyxara turned her gaze toward him.

"Did Velena tell you?"

Nova nodded. She continued after a brief silence. "Although it is a secret of my clan... now that you are my husband, I’ll tell you."

"A very long time ago, our ancestor was blessed by the Demon God. That blessing is what we know as the Zarok Bloodline."

Nova was surprised. Even so, he couldn’t deny the possibility. Anything related to a true God was far beyond his current comprehension.

Nyxara continued, her voice growing quieter as she recalled the past.

"After training alone on the Fourth Level for many years, without meeting anyone... my body, mind, and soul were all pushed to their limits. I was close to a breakthrough, but my deadline was also approaching."

"I had no options left. If I failed to even reach the Sovereign Realm, what chance would I have of ever defeating my father? At that time, I was only a Level 8 Emperor."

"In my rage, I challenged a Level 9 Emperor Realm demonic beast."

"I managed to defeat it... but I was left on the verge of death. I was certain I was going to die."
