Time quickly passed.

Before Aurelius could realize it, the moon covering the black sky had long since disappeared.

The sun was beginning to peek over the distant horizon.

Unknowingly, the next morning was already here.

Feeling the morning sunlight peek through the curtains and brush against his face, Aurelius couldn’t help but shake his head.

He had spent the entire night comprehending the skills he had obtained from the Undead Knight’s inheritance.

Although the Player Panel made it so that he could comprehend them with a single click as long as he went through the Skill Book, this didn’t mean that he would master them instantly.

He still had to digest the information that had appeared in his mind.

At most, the Player Panel made the process far easier and more straightforward.

Still, Aurelius had to spend a few minutes after comprehending each skill, sorting out its information and uses.

Some of the skills were simple enough to understand. Others, however, contained complicated applications that required him to carefully analyze them before he could fully understand their value.

Because of that, he had long since lost track of time.

Before he could realize it, the next morning had come.

’However, this is good.’

Aurelius thought as he put the Skill Books away.

’I’ve already comprehended the skills I need for the synthesis. Now, all that is needed is to gather the Skill Points to upgrade Synthesis.’

Under normal circumstances, that would have been difficult for ordinary Players.

They would have to complete numerous missions before they could gather enough Skill Points, especially enough to upgrade Synthesis to the required level.

Yet Aurelius was different.

He didn’t have to gather the Skill Points alone.

He already had his own "army" to do it for him.

Thinking of the hard work the Players must have gone through while he was missing, Aurelius’ eyes flashed.

--

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The sound of explosions echoed continuously in World_Builder’s mind.

Although the library had long since been left behind him, the noise, tremors, and black mist were still etched in his memories.

He was on the verge of bursting into tears.

He had never worked so hard! Even in his real life, he had never experienced anything like that!

Yet now, he had worked tirelessly, suffering the Witch’s torture inside this damned game!

World_Builder felt that he had made many great sacrifices!

’It’s all because I want to help other Players realize the value of this Rare Class!’

’I can’t let that woman continue manipulating the crowd! I have to experience it with my own two eyes!’

A flash of determination appeared in World_Builder’s eyes.

For a moment, even he was shocked by his own righteousness.

Subconsciously, he puffed out his chest and raised his head, looking at the nearby students with his nostrils, his face full of pride.

His back remained upright, and his steps were steady, walking in what he considered to be a majestic manner.

He had suffered so much during the past few days.

If he didn’t have this kind of spirit, how could he continue?

Yet only a few seconds later, his expression changed.

His face became dark!

"Hey, Maria, do you know who that guy is?"

"Shhh! Keep your voice down! What if he overhears us?! Don’t you see that he’s a mental patient?"

"Sigh. It’s already difficult enough being a fatty. Who could have expected that he would suffer like this?"

"When we go back, we should pray for his sake. Who knows? God might pity him and help him recover..."

Before long, the owners of these voices walked away. Their voices gradually disappeared into the distance.

Yet World_Builder did not relax in the slightest.

His body trembled with fury!

Damn it!

He had been mocked by a bunch of ordinary NPCs!

Worst of all, he had been called a "fatty!"

World_Builder could accept being accused of having a mental illness.

But in his opinion, being called a fatty was unacceptable!

When was it the turn of NPCs to bully the Players? How dare they!

For a moment, World_Builder was prepared to turn around, find those students, and teach them a lesson.

Yet before he could do so, he noticed a figure walking through the entrance of the Ernst Academy.

At first, World_Builder dismissed it.

There were many people coming and going from the academy every day.

But as the other party got closer and their appearance became clearer, World_Builder’s eyes lit up.

Golden hair. Azure eyes. A handsome face.

Although his aura had changed somewhat, World_Builder immediately recognized him.

In the blink of an eye, the words of the students were pushed to the back of his mind.

Then, without any hesitation, World_Builder rushed toward the man.

"Brother Aurelius! Brother Aurelius!"

"Here! Here!"

--

From Aurelius’ point of view, it had not been long after he entered the Academy before a large sphere began rolling toward him while shouting his name.

Fortunately, he was already prepared to find World_Builder here.

Not only was he not surprised by his appearance, but he was actually happy to see him.

Aurelius had not visited the Ernst Academy without a reason.

In fact, he had come specifically here for World_Builder!

He had already considered who among the Players would be the easiest to scam—ahem—to persuade.

World_Builder was undoubtedly one of them.

After all, this fatty had already spent a large amount of Experience and resources because of the Sun Knight Class.

As long as Aurelius gave him a little push, he would naturally be willing to pay a certain price to achieve his goal.

Even so, despite being happy inwardly, Aurelius remained calm on the surface.

Facing the "moving sphere", he calmly moved out of the way, causing World_Builder to nearly crash into the wall behind him.

"Brother Aurelius! Why did you—"

Just as the fat man was about to voice his grievances, Aurelius waved his hand.

"Brother Jonathan, I see that you’re really enthusiastic today. Could it be that you’ve been waiting to purchase something from my store?"

"Have you finally gathered the required materials?"

World_Builder was originally equally happy to see Aurelius.

Yet the moment he heard his words, his expression changed.

He glanced at the EXP at the bottom of his Panel.

800 EXP.

Just four-fifths of the way there to obtain the Sun Knight Class, becoming the second Player to become an Awakener.

However, World_Builder could not be happy about this achievement.

He knew that time was running out!

Tomorrow, the Beta Version would end.

And judging from his current progress in collecting Experience, there was no way he would be able to gather the required one thousand Experience by then.

For a moment, World_Builder became downcast.

He felt as though he had been defeated by his greatest enemy.

Even seeing the mysterious NPC Aurelius could not improve his dampened mood.

Recalling how much trouble he had gone through while assisting Professor Anna in her experiments, nearly dying a couple of times, World_Builder was ready to cry again.

He knew he shouldn’t have gambled with the Gacha Potions before!

If he had saved his Experience like TheoryMaster69, he would have long gathered enough Experience to obtain the Sun Knight Class.

Perhaps by now, he would have even upgraded his Level a few times.

Thinking of this, his gaze became even more desolate.

’Why did I have to be so stupid?’ He couldn’t help but clench his fists.

Then... he wondered whether he should gamble on the Gacha Potions again.

Noticing the alternating emotions on the fat man’s face, Aurelius knew the answer without World_Builder even speaking.

Clearly, he was quite far from gathering the required one thousand Experience.

Under normal circumstances, this should have disappointed Aurelius, who wanted to sell the Sun Knight Class to show its value to the Players.

Yet now, Aurelius was actually happy!

He knew that his chance had come!

Still, he didn’t rush to speak up.

The more anxious the other party became, the more valuable his offer would appear.

It was only several seconds later, when World_Builder looked to be on the verge of a mental breakdown, that Aurelius finally made a move.

He reached out and gently patted World_Builder’s shoulder.

"Brother Jonathan, it seems that you are also facing some difficulties."

His words snapped World_Builder back to reality.

"Ah?"

Before he could respond, Aurelius had already followed up on those words.

"I have already noticed that you are seeking to obtain one of the items in my shop. I have already noticed your efforts..."

Aurelius paused briefly, as if hesitating. Then, he continued:

"How about it? Given our relationship, I’m willing to offer you a little help."

"Look at this."

As he spoke, Aurelius activated the Trade Talent.

From his point of view, little changed.

Yet World_Builder’s eyes widened.

That was because in his field of vision, a new item had appeared in Aurelius’ Shop.

It had appeared at the top, as though afraid that the Players would miss it.
