Chapter 660: Chapter 351: Osber, President of the Talin Association, Takes Action Personally

"If possible, let’s do it today."

Upon hearing Raine’s words, Ilgerina and Leonore exchanged glances, each seeing surprise in the other’s eyes.

"So urgently?"

"Yes, you probably received the latest news too, about the Underdark over there..."

When Raine mentioned the battle happening in the Underdark, Ilgerina’s smile faded, and after a slight pause, she remarked, "I never thought the Spider Queen would one day be defeated in her own domain. This was something none of the Drow expected."

Although she worships the Dark Maiden, even from a faith perspective, she’s adversarial with the Spider Queen Rose.

But she is a Drow Elf, after all. Hearing about the massive casualties and escape of her tribesmen made her feelings quite complex.

"Taros III is abnormally strong."

After pondering, Ilgerina added.

Because according to the message, it wasn’t an ambush but a direct confrontation where Taros III defeated Rose’s projection one-on-one.

This strength is somewhat frightening!

"Yes, His Majesty Brute Hammer discussed his assessment with me. He believes Taros III will further expand, and when the time comes, the flames of war might spread to the Northern Continent."

"Since it’s His Majesty Brute Hammer’s judgment, the situation is quite dire," Leonore nodded.

"But I still can’t understand, Raine, why are you so eager to trouble the ’King of Poison Vines’ Slax, the Elder Green Dragon? They shouldn’t have any connection with the Talin Association or the Urein Empire, right?"

Ilgerina took out the Communication Crystal Stone, planning to communicate with Great Druid Irabien while looking at Raine in confusion.

"Raine naturally has his reasons, quickly make contact. I believe Great Druid would likely welcome this news," Leonore said with a smile, gently patting her friend’s arm to support Raine.

"Alright, it seems you both have secrets from me, but Leonore, you’re right. Lord Irabien should be quite happy to receive this news."

Ilgerina gave her friend Leonore a reproachful look, nodded, ceased her questioning, and started making contact.

In a few quick sentences of Elven, Ilgerina concluded the communication, smiling:

"Contact is made. Lord Irabien will meet us by Moon God Lake in the afternoon. When shall we head over?"

"Right now, except I’ve never been to the Elf Forest."

"I’ll take care of it," Leonore said gracefully with a smile.

Having visited Moon God Lake multiple times, Leonore cast the Teleportation Spell, and amid a flash of blue light, the three vanished from their location.

When Raine regained his sight, he was surrounded by a sea of vibrant green and a pool of deep blue lake water. Tall silver pines, requiring at least three people to encircle, lined the snaking lakeside.

The air was filled with a unique natural scent of earth and mist, seemingly purifying the lungs with each breath.

With his keen perception, he noticed squirrels, birds, and unnamed tree spirits curiously watching them from the surroundings.

"What a wonderful place," Raine remarked with awe as he visited the Elf Forest for the first time.

At this moment, Raine’s Communication Crystal suddenly vibrated.

He pulled out the Crystal from his pocket, infused a bit of spiritual power, and a familiar and urgent female voice came through: "Lord Raine, Makas City... Talin Association President personally there..."

The voice was interrupted by the sound of a violent magic explosion from the other end.

Soon after, seemingly due to interference, Lilith’s voice ceased entirely.

This made Raine’s expression darken!

"Did you two receive any messages?" Raine turned to the two women and asked.

Ideally, if the Talin Association launched a surprise attack, Makas City should have sent communications to Leonore or Ilgerina to seek aid first.

Ilgerina and Leonore both took out their Communication Crystals but found they hadn’t received any messages.

"Wait, if the Talin Association President personally took action, they likely have the ability to block communications," Ilgerina said.

"Hmm?"

"Talin Association President is ’Great Summoner’ Osber, not only Legendary High Tier, but also one of the few who can summon Elite Flame Demons—the Legendary Mage. General Legendary powerhouses might struggle against his summoned creatures."

Leonore nodded, evidently agreeing with Ilgerina’s assessment, and explained for Raine to better understand.

Legendary High Tier?

Summoning Elite Flame Demons?

Upon hearing this, Raine’s eyebrows twitched.

Not only did he feel no fear, but a hint of excitement bubbled within him.

’I wonder how many he can summon? If just one or two, that would be disappointing.’

’But, being Legendary High Tier, he should summon more than four Elite Flame Demons, right?’

Raine pondered to himself.

Seeing Raine showed no signs of fear, but instead let a slight smile creep upon his lips, Ilgerina got even more puzzled.

But considering the pressing circumstances, now wasn’t the time for questions.

"Shall we head straight over or find Great Druid first?"

"Immediately,"

Raine shook his head and replied.

If the Talin Association President personally intervened, he doubted the powerhouses of the Fadir Wetland Kingdom could hold for long.

"Let’s go!"

As Raine wasn’t familiar with Makas City, Leonore handled the teleportation.
