Chapter 1587: Chapter 1586: Hello Again

The hours ticked by slowly, and the time we spent lounging beneath our canopies watching all of the handsome futanari labor under the sun was time I considered well spent… up until my stomach growled loudly as it demanded nutrition.

That prior enjoyment and peaceful pleasantness that I had been basking in was immediately wiped away because of that, and although I didn’t want to get up and go cook I simply had to, because right now those five babies inside of me were siphoning off the energy I had.

Apparently they were really taking after Anput because I could feel their hunger spiking alongside mine, and since they were hungry they began to feast on what was available to them rather gluttonously, leaving me rather ravenous as I pushed myself out of the lounge chair and tried to make my way back to the manor.

Before I could do so though Anput was already beside me, shaking her head and saying “No need for all of that. The air is nice and the sunlight feels nice on our skin, right~? So how about a little outdoor cooking~? Kavya, could you go fetch… hmm…”

Pursing her lips staring up at the clouds, Anput thought for a moment before grinning at me as I dryly said “Kavya, get a couple heads of broccoli, six slabs of steak and a jar of butter. Whatever seasoning you think would do nicely as well.”, causing the Demoness to nod before she began to jog back to the manor to get everything.

“Ooh, and you! Take this and get us a few loaves of bread please~!”

Tossing a coin to one of the six guards that had come along with our two honored guests, Anput continued to show off her shamelessness as she just grinned at the masked warrior, not minding that the pressure radiating off of them had spiked.

Seeing that helmed head slowly turn towards Lady D’Arcon, I took a breath and prepared to apologize before letting out a sigh instead when the Saintess smiled softly at the warrior and nodded, causing them to stiffly turn around and march off into the city.

“Anput…”

“What~? They’re here to help, are they not~?”

My mate just gave me a grin while Lady D’Arcon chuckled softly and said “You are one of the few people I have ever seen that isn’t terrified of them. Definitely one of the few who has done something so bold to them…”

“Her idiocy knows very few bounds…”

That made the Saintess chuckle again while my mate just grinned even more, nodding in agreement and causing me to roll my eyes before I had her set everything up for me; an outdoor kitchen swiftly constructed in the middle of the street… it was definitely something to witness, and something that was needed.

Kavya returned a minute or so later alongside another Demoness, the two carrying everything I had asked for and setting them down on the table Anput had made for me as well; not long after that the guard returned and placed a few loaves of fresh bread on the table, taking a moment to stare at Anput before resuming their post.

The Jackalkin just grinned at them and gave a lazy salute that likely further irritated the guard, yet there was nothing that person could do except watch as I got to cooking while my mate sauntered around the area chatting to whomever was nearest.

By the time our meal was cooked the other three futanari had all come back to see what was happening, informing us that there was maybe another hour of work before the Transportation Circle could start getting worked on.

The food was certainly not sufficient for everyone’s appetites, and although I could tell that my wives were disappointed yet were holding it in out of respect, Lady Fenyras scoffed as she said “Well that was barely a fucking appetizer.”, earning herself a smack from the Saintess who immediately apologized.

I just ignored her, telling Jahi to get everything finished as soon as possible and that I was heading back to the manor now, the day out in the sun being rather fun yet also tiring; that earned another comment from the Demon Wolf that I ignored, though I again promised myself that whatever else I cooked tonight, she was getting as many ’mistakes’ as I could manage without it being too obvious.

Of course Anput went ahead and came home with me, and of course she displayed the sort of ravenous hunger that she had already bequeathed to our pups as she pulled me straight upstairs and mounted me in the bed, claiming me once more and making excellent use of this hour.

By the time night fell and the structure was completed, things had gotten rather… quiet again, though that was entirely because Lady Fenyras was still out overseeing the last bit of work that needed to be done.

We knew when the Transportation Circle was done simply because of the return of that loud Demon Wolf as she came back with Lady Igna, the scarred Dragon entering the house and ’looking’ around curiously before she grinned at Anput and I.

“Well well well~! Hello once again, you two~! They told me all about this, and I have to say I am quite astonished by how everything has gone~! Y’know, I’ve lived for so long yet I don’t know if I’ve ever been this excited by someone else being pregnant~!”

The once serious and somewhat aloof Dragon was grinning ear to ear as she approached us, and immediately she gently caressed my stomach as well as Anput’s before regaling us with all sorts of tales as she made it abundantly clear she was looking forwards to ’grandbabies’, something that had us raising a brow since neither of us had any relation to her in any way.

And yet it would seem that she was considering Leone ’hers’ even though the Vampire wasn’t hers, though I suppose that was just similar to how we all considered the current batch of babies as ’Jahi’s’ too despite her not having any blood relation to them.
